   Came here after LSU Graduation. They sat us in the private dining near the kitchen which felt very VIP. We were greeted by the restauranteur/owners. I enjoyed the Elk dish which was the highlight of our culinary experience. Everyone at the table took a taste and it was the by-far the strongest performer. Highly Recommended! The dirty martini will not disappoint.

   The food was incredible, the service was attentive however we had to wait 20 mins before our first drink was delivered to the table. The owner was very nice as well.

    Server was excellent!!! Very knowledgeable about the menu. Noise was a little loud but won’t deter us from going back. Food was excellent and the bartender was great in willing to make a drink I pulled up on my phone.

    I took a friend for her birthday. My husband & I had eaten there a couple of months prior and it was really good. My friend & I decided to get the beets & burrata salad and the tuna sliders. The salad was good. Nothing special but good. The tuna sliders were awful. They smelled super fishy. I tasted a corner of one and it tasted super fishy. We told them we could not eat the tuna sliders and we ordered the brisket sandwich. The bread on the sandwich was very, very burnt. The bread was black. The large amount of cheese that was on this sandwich killed any taste you may of had for the rest of the sandwich. I think the cheese was a horseradish goat cheese. The sandwich was gross. Now for the good: each of us had a drink and they were amazing. We also got the tres leche cake and it was amazing. Our waiter was also amazing. So disappointed in this experience. I had been looking forward to going back to this restaurant after the amazing food we had there previously.

    Excellent food and our waiter was quite knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The place was quiet and the atmosphere was just great. The parking is really easy and it's not in a crowded area like other places downtown. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Baton Rouge by a good margin.

    Fantastic dinner experience at Cocoa last night. The fish, elk and duck dishes were all craveable. Our serve, Caleb, also recommended a fabulous Lebanese wine that was one of the best wines we’ve tried in some time (and very affordable). This has quickly become one of our go-to restaurants at it is always friendly with dependably great food.

    Probably my favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge! The food and service is always outstanding, out of the many times I’ve visited I’ve only had one off experience with service. Bert (I think?) was awful… like ongoing joke between friends level awful. Otherwise, 10/10 experience overall and I will always recommend this spot!
