The Clissold Arms is a laid–back, family–orientated pub situated between Muswell Hill and East Finchley in North London.

Our menus change daily and include homemade, locally–sourced, traditional British dishes. The ambience of the Clissold Arms is what makes this pub a truly unique experience with five distinct areas (main Restaurant, Kinks’ Room, covered Terrace, the Shed and our Garden).

Our popular large al fresco Garden , is an ideal space to relax and unwind, particularly on warm evenings – a perfect getaway from London’s busy lifestyle!Our Terrace is covered and centrally–heated in winter and becomes another al fresco dining area in the summer.The Shed is our newest addition and is a smaller private dining room.

Our Kinks’ Room is themed to match our historical association with the local famous rock band.The pudding, they say, is in the eating, and the Clissold Arms is a finely baked, multi–layered cake.Come and try some!

Such a disappointing Xmas meal. Ran out of half of the “trimmings”, food was barely warm and our waitress was slow, ignorant and barely understandable. Such a shame as previous owner made it a first class place to go. As a reaction to our complaint, they did offer a discount on the bill but I’d rather pay full price and have a positive experience.

Visited as my husband is a massive kinks fan. I had organized to sit in the kinks room and it was our anniversary which the Clissold arms knew and said they would offer a drink and assured us we would be sitting in the kinks room and had put a note on our booking . Umm arrived they put us in the other room and I had to remind them of the booking. Food ok but not special .

Good, reasonably priced food and wine. Despite a few large groups out for pre-Christmas parties the service was still good and attentive. Highly recommended.

The pub has a great vibe and has the wonderful legacy of the Kinks. However, the food did arrive burnt, and was fairly pricey, so the experience overall was disappointing
