Clear Sky on Cleveland
historical Cleveland Street District and features cuisine from around the globe!
Nick was a great waiter! Busy pre-theatre, he handled it with enthusiasm, knowledge & great patience & humour. Everyone enjoyed themselves every much and we'll return soon. Reserved table was ready on-time. The Garden Room quieted down when the theatre crowd left and was a great place for us all to catchup.
Clear Sky is one of our favorites. The menu is interesting, food is always well prepared and well presented, and service is quite good. Good selection of beers and wines, and enough variety that everyone cand find somerhing to enjoy.
Outstanding! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. It's the PERFECT place to dine before a concert at the Capitol Theater.
I enjoy going to Clear Sky before a show at the Capital Theatre. This time it was not quite up to par. The Happy Hour hummus was delicious but they served it with burnt on the bottom pita. Really? I requested new but it came the same time as dinner. Seared Scallop dinner is usually my favorite but the couscous on the bottom was cold so it changed the taste of the dish. It seemed like it was rushed out. I would have preferred more time be taken and all ingredients heated. We had plenty of time.
Out side dining is great when weather cooperates
Servers are pleasant. Food is tasty, menu is interesting
Perfect pre-theatre dinner venue; excellent staff; delicious food! Only thing my group didn’t like was the back room we were seated in — too bright; cheesy decor; bad ambiance! Be sure to request outside or front room!
Courteous staff, great service and food. I have been here several times and always come away more than satisfied with everything.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Three friends met and we all had something different. We were all very satisfied. Our server Chris was top notch. From the cocktails to any and all of the food, you can’t go wrong! Highly recommend!
I live out of town but have now been to this restaurant 3 x in less than 6 weeks. LOVE It. Loved our first waiter, Justin and we had wonderful service with Chelsea on Jan 2, 2020. Great way to bring in the New Year with friends. We are partial to the Gochujang Shrimp - have had it 2 x! We had to try Disco Duck Fries - with a name like that - had to go for it. Not my fav but my friends enjoyed it. Two of us had Cajun Seafood Pasta. Outstanding - best I have ever had. My friend liked it spicy. Great sauce. Other friend had Tuscan Gravy with chicken. Just wanted to lick the bowl clean!
We love Clear Sky. Great service and food. We will be regulars here. We brought our family here for a late lunch. They were very busy. Cory was our server and did a great job.
First time here and came for brunch. Lots of choices! Food quality was very good and prices were quite fair -- perhaps even low -- for the quality/quantity. We sat in the Garden Room, which is bright and airy. Only outdoor seating is right on the sidewalk, so that's one minus. Great service and they offer a "frequent diner" program.
Menu offerings were surprisingly broad. Good place to eat if you're not sure what you want: lots of options to choose from. Food and service were both top notch. Will return the next time we're in Clearwater.
Enjoying sitting in the garden area. A bit quieter than the bar area.
The Scallop dinner was excellent.
However, I would not recommend the corn beef sandwich. There was more sauce that meat. Also the meat was shredded and was over cooked. A corn beef sandwich needs to have sliced not shredded meat.
The initial arrival had us seated at a bar table for 6, on bar stools, directly in from of the open window kitchen and beside the bathroom; even though we booked for 8, nearly a month earlier for our Christmas dinner. Upon request, we were moved within 10 minutes to a beautiful table in an adjacent room, with the most beautiful ambience, tranquil waterfall, decadent holiday decorations, and an exceptional server. The food was marvellous, the drinks were fantastic, the menu had a few items they were out of but it was Christmas and we expected as much- not a problem.
A couple of the meals took a bit longer to arrive but the kids were offered soups or salads to enjoy while the waited. They were given their burgers for free and a dessert of their choice!!
Overall, we found a new local favourite and will definitely be back!
Very loud rather tight seats/table. Must try when not a holiday
We went on Christmas Day, had a reservation so no waiting. Service was great, food was even better than I remembered! Definitely will go again during the year.
We've been to Clearsky on many occasions at different times of the day, brunch, lunch and dinner and always enjoy our visits. This night we were headed to the restaurant before a concert at the Capitol Theater and were very glad we had a reservation.
When we first walked in we thought the background music was very loud, but as the place filled up with others for their pre-concert meals the loud music gave way to the din of conversations.
Despite being quite busy the waitress was attentive and our drinks never got low before refills, and the food was great as always.
Our go to restaurant when we are attending the Capital Theater
Service was outstanding. Food was great. Nicely decorated for Christmas
I love going here for lunch during my business trip to Clearwater. This is our top #1 choice for lunch. Food is always great doesn't matter what you order. The salads are really good and so are the flat breads.
front room is very noisy, back room smells like bleach
ordered the bouillabaisse, that was not bouillabaisse!! i would have sent it back but time was a factor and we were a party of 6.
no bread served with meal.
Food was great, waitress was friendly and attentive and restaurant nicely decorated for the holidays. The only thing was that the seating for five was a bit cramped, and due to the busy night one of the staff kept looking over at our table repeatedly making us a bit uncomfortable...we did not sit long after finishing our meals.
We were a party of three all of us had a different meal from ribs to a hamburger all of it was very good, the service was excellent so was the atmosphere. Yes I would recommend it to my friends. And we plan to make it our go to restaurant when we attend the next shows at the Capitol theater.
I can't understand why anyone would want to eat in this place. I'm always hesitant to give a truly bad review, but this restaurant is by far one of the worst restaurants that we have ever visited. The server that was assigned to our table she never makes us feel welcome in the restaurant and not even said, “Good evening, welcome to CLEAR SKY on CLEVELAND.” The service that the server provided us was terrible from the get go. The food was terrible to. Serving very low-grade food. For that reason, we would never dare to attempt to dine in this restaurant again.
About 8th time there - fantastic
Great restaurant. Little noisy but overall a fun place with great food.
Excellent food. Kitchen closes earlier than the bar. Terrific staff. Garden room out back is tranquil. Bar and area out front modern.
Food was outstanding, and came out quickly. We were in a rush so just did appetizers, all of which were great
As always the folks at Clearsky come through Food and service were both excellent.
One concern was that they did not have my Open Table Reservation. I was able to provide my confirmation number and was seated promptly. The Hostess said this has been happening a lot and wrote down my information to follow up. The restaurant was not full when we arrived but was by the time we left. I would have hated to find no table available. Are you reading this Open Table?
Our second time dining here. The Thanksgiving specials were excellant. Heather was our server and did a great job!
Very good selection of foods. Great service
Enjoyable evening at Clearsky - our server Julie was excellent! Food & drinks were fresh & delicious!
Another excellent meal with wonderful service. I highly recommend Clear Sky on Cleveland!
The absolute worst restaurant we have ever dined in; terrible, horrid!!
What a ripoff!!!
This was our first time dining here. We were attending a show across the street at the Capitol theater. The service was excellent. We had four appetizers and drinks all were very tasty. We will definitely return!!
Loved the look of the restaurant both in the front/bar area and in the back seating area. Staff was very friendly but seemed pushed or short-staffed that evening. The menu was extensive and there were also specials offered. We had drinks - fine but nothing special - plus 3 apps. The Ducky Brussels sprouts were FANTASTIC. Perfectly roasted with goat cheese and balsamic glaze. The duck added nothing and was dry so I just pushed it aside and enjoyed the rest. The other 2 apps - bland avocado fries with an odd sauce and Arrancini - were just okay. As a main, I had the striped bass with risotto. The fish was fine (but far too large a portion) but the risotto was not properly prepared - runny and with no depth of flavor. The other entrees weren't much better. We skipped dessert. Perhaps it was a bad night in the kitchen. The reviews we read beforehand were stellar so our experience might not be a true reflection of their capabilities.
Our first time and not our last. The striped bass and surf and turf specials were excellent. Excellent service. Nick was our server and did a great job. We'll be back.
