Located in a former auto shop in the vibrant Montrose neighborhood near The Menil Collection and Museum District, Clark’s Houston is the third and largest location of our popular neighborhood oyster bar and seafood restaurant. Opened in Fall 2023, Clark’s features freshly shucked oysters, crudo, lobster roll, daily fish specials, caviar and blini, bowls of chowder and cioppino as well as a much-loved burger and shoestring fries.

The restaurant specializes in martinis and signature cocktails as well as an extensive Champagne and wine list. The design is light, bright, and airy with nautically-themed touches including a centerpiece fish tank, teak wood furniture, bright white walls, and blue and turquoise tones.

In addition to a marble-topped oyster bar and dining room, there’s a large, covered patio for prime people watching and oyster slurping. Clark’s Houston also offers a semi-private dining room for special occasions and events.

Love Clark's, this visit was a little bit of a decrease of the service we are used to. Our water was continually empty and it was clear they wanted us to leave at 10. They no longer came to table to check on us or refill water. In fact, bill was brought to us before offering dessert which we asked to order. Super loud music as well, made it very difficult to carry on a conversation inside. We brought another couple who was visiting for the first time, not sure they will go back.

Clark’s has become one of my favorites. The staff and management are warm and welcoming and the food has been great on each visit. Will be back again and again!!

Food was excellent as usual. Our birthday bundle loved and celebrated! Unfortunately it was so loud we had to shout across the table to be heard. Nice to k ow everyone was having fun!

Started with entree of Spanish octopus for appetizer, split a crab Louie salad, then shrimp cocktail, redfish with garlic herb butter, roasted cauliflower and finished with Basque cake All were amazing!!!! Kudos to Gabby, a fantastic server and very knowledgeable!!!

Amazing food! Server could have been more knowledgeable about food. At time service was a little slow, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a reservation for later that night but arrived early so we sat by the bar, it was fantastic, not just friendly service by the guys behind the bar, Christian and his colleague… I forgot his name, make a great team…. And the food, like always, beyond fantastic. Kudos to the manager and his team.

Shrimp and Crab Loui salad was Amazing. Baked oysters were Not good . Crab cake was good. Noise level , so loud you cannot visit without raising your voice
