Clandestino is the moody sister of Tac/Quila. Serving elevated and fresh Mexican food. Located right next to the Marilyn Monroe statue in downtown Palm Springs. The restaurant is headed by Chef Gustavo Carreon who has worked diligently to create a menu that highlights the best that his home country has to offer. Some Clandestino exclusives include stuffed squash blossoms and cochinita pibil. We have 100% outdoor seating.

    The food and drinks were amazing! Every plate and drink my partner and I had were outstanding! The service was superb! Highly recommend this restaurant. It has become my favorite

    Excellent food! Very good service. Diners need to know, and the restaurant clearly discloses this on their website, that the vast majority of their tables are located outside. The day we dined at Clandestino, the day time high was 116F. It was still about 105F when we ate dinner at 6:30pm. The outside seating areas all have mister fans, but they are loud and tend to spray any juices dripping from your food onto your clothing. In my case, the short rib taco was wonderfully juicy, but the fan dispersed the juicy drippings onto my shirt. Again, our dinner was excellent, there are just some things to be aware of.

    Always enjoy our meals there. Although it was 114 degrees, the outdoor area was shaded and comfortable!

    Clandestino did not disappoint! The flight of margaritas was a true masterpiece — each one bursting with color, flavor, and fun. From florals to spice. Pair that with delicious entrées and the downtown Palm Springs vibe, and we had a perfect summer evening. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something bold and beautiful.

    Wonderful location and setting outdoors. Cocktails were fresh with a single large ice cube. We shared multiple dishes that were all delicious. This continues to be a spot on our list of favorites. Will return soon.

    Such a great addition to the scene in PsP. Given the pedigree of Tac/quila and Farm, expectations were high and it did not fail to impress. From cocktails that had the right level of sweet, bitter and alc hit to Enchiladas with the right amount of everything.
