   Really wanted to love this as we had booked for Valentine’s Day and heard great things. The restaurant clearly wasn’t set up for a big Valentine’s Day service. We had to wait a while to be served and then a substantially long wait for any kind of food. The small plates were just that, very small, and having one be served every 20 minutes meant that we weren’t really able to enjoy any of it. When the bill came I actually felt quite upset that we were to spend so much money on what felt like little food and a very stunted service. You could see that the kitchen wasn’t able to withstand a large service and I could understand the staff were doing what they could. The atmosphere was lovely and the drinks were good, just really disappointing not to be as enjoyable as I had hoped.

   HELEN and BROOKE made our time a true experience. It is worthwhile mentioning that the whole menu is genuinely HOME MADE, and they are two angels at your service.

   The food and service was amazing. The waitress was happy to offer recommendations all of which were delicious. Highly recommend the Tiramisu. Can’t wait to go back

   Didn’t eat so can’t comment on the food but the drinks were great. Was quite dead for a Thursday though.

   Such a lovely restaurant. Genuinely enjoyed every bite and left happy and full. The waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious! We shared four small plates and then found room for desert. Will definitely be back for dinner and keen to try the lunch menu. Standout for me was the sausage and mushroom lasagne, and my wife and I really enjoyed the fig and buffalo crostini’s. Such good value for money and a warm, cosy atmosphere.
