Good food, descent size portions.
Definately worth a visit; although one had to wade through the traffic to get there.
Visiting at lunchtime during the whole Covid thing meant it was quiet but unlike smaller restaurants this didn’t spoil the atmosphere. In fact it was really quiet; I should imagine that when really busy it would be quite noisy. The service was fantastic and the set menu varied, interesting and really great value, with nine courses and none of them a dud. The food here is so tasty with beautiful warm spicing and for me just the right amount of heat. The location is a little off the beaten track but it was a pleasure to walk around very nearby Battersea Park afterwards.
Fantastic service . Tasting menu was tasty and varied and large portions. They really accommodated our groups allergies. Only gripe was that the food wasnt hot, but just warm. I really enjoyed my evening there!,would recommend
Great location, although Hammersmith and Fulham have recently added restrictions in Bagleys lane etc, so be careful!!! The signage is terrible and easy to miss. £130 if you do miss them!
I walked along the Thames had a fantastic meal at the kitchen with great cocktails!! The mixologist there is awesome. Great staff, very friendly and even though we have the covid background book a table and enjoy a lovely dining experience.
Restaurant was not too busy, so food arrived as expected. Andreas was helpful and attentive. Cocktails were well prepared and enjoyable. Food generally of a high standard, with the tasting menu giving an abundance of delicious dishes. Only concern was the condition and safety of the broken front door. Impossible to open and close and looked dangerous
We had the tasting menu which was a great mix of food and very good value. However, it said it ran until 9pm - we arrived at 8.30 and weren't offered it so we had to ask specifically. Then when we chose this menu we were told they had to bring it all at once, which never actually happened so we didn't quite understand the issue.
But aside from that, none of the staff seemed particularly happy to be there. I understand the situation isn't the best at the moment but they were pretty miserable which was disappointing considering the food and place itself was lovely!
Great food, very much enjoyed the tasting menu which was good value for money. Good service too
This food is freshly made and extremely delicious. Recommend this place for lovely meal.
Nice location too and buzzing atmosphere
Food was extremely overpriced for the size of the servings. Very underwhelming and disappointing.
Great venue, although quiet, but I was dining at an early lunchtime. I imagine a great atmosphoere at other times. Loved the decor and the food was quite simply the best Indian meal I have ever had.
Great Indian food , presented in a modern way.
Food was amazing & loved the vibe. Only thing is the bar tender wasn’t very good at making a standard Aperol Spritz....
Really delicious food, friendly service and lovely venue.
The food was cooked to perfection - highly recommend the biriyani and butter chicken! The cheesecake was so light and airy it was very delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive but not too persistent/loud.
The venue is really nice and modern, highly recommend for any occasion!
Wonderful experience overall. If anything, consistent with my prior visits, service was a bit slow (which is a little bit unnerving with an infant sleeping in a pram, but not a deal breaker).
When we arrived we did not feel welcome - our whole arrival was as if we had entered a normal cafe and were taken to a table which was wobbly and rocked when we touched it. The waitress didn’t bother to find out that we had booked the 9 dish sharing platter so we had to inform her. She eventually brought the dishes to us but plonked them on the table without acknowledging that she was about to do this which we found quite rude. When we had finished the said waitress appeared and took our dishes without asking us if this was the case. Normally in a restaurant such as yours the waiting staff would have the necessary training on how to be polite and respectful of their diners. At the end of the meal we were charged twice for a 9 dish sharing platter for 2 people at approx £30 - we were charged £60. We asked to speak to the ‘manager’ who was rude and said that he didn’t care. The ‘manager’ appeared to be lacking in any form of customer service etiquette. In a nutshell the whole experience was breathtakingly bad! There was a total lack of the welcoming Asian ambiance which we love and have received in other restaurants similar to Cinnamon Kitchen. The food was mediocre, the waitress was completely rude, sullen and very unwelcoming. The ‘manager’ should be sent on a customer care course. We won’t be dining in this restaurant in future and we will never recommend it as this was one of the worst dining experiences we have had. Vivek Singh should be ashamed to be advertising this restaurant in his name as it is absolutely horrid.
Substandard food, head to Brigadiers or tandoor Chop House for better food and value for money.
Delicious food, friendly, efficient service; and lively but well-socially distanced vibe.
We've dined here at least ten times before and on every occassion the food has been excellent. Service was great but the diners were a bit too close given the number of empty tables.
The best Indian fusion restaurant I've been in the UK. I go there once or twice every year and never felt disappointed. They even cater for special diets such as onion & garlic free ingredients in their meal.
Not our first visit and won't be the last. Great room, helpful staff and lovely food
Good food and loved the atmosphere. Pleasant staff but one male waiter was noticeably less friendly which we put down to him having a bad day.
Service was a bit dodgy at the beginning but they made up for this during the evening. 9 course menu good although parts too hot (I’m Indian btw) and took away from the taste. Will go for Al a crate next time
Food was good but honestly I didn't enjoy the evening as a result of the tables being too close to each other. Huge shame as I've always enjoyed this otherwise excellent restaurant.
Great 9 course special. More than enough excellent quality food and drink
Really poor service, slow and unfriendly. Food was good but not enough
Had a lovely meal to celebrate a special occasion. The 9 course tasting menu was great value for money. We loved the starters, main was ok except every option was very spicy. All in all a nice evening
This is not an "average" curry house - this is refined Indian Cooking and well worth a visit. The restaurant is large and was very quiet on a Friday lunch service but the food is exceptional. We have been a few times before but were taken by the tasting menu which, at £33, including a welcome beer or glass of wine, is amazing value and gives one a chance to try dishes that we wouldn't normally order.
I hope that through this very difficult time they can survive and thrive but the whole of Circus West seems to have suffered and until the Power Station itself starts to fill it may remain subdued.
Great place to eat, atmosphere made it even better.
We had the tasting menu 9 course our only comment it would have improved the experience even more by having each course explained a little bit clearer.
Delicious food and great service - can't fault it!
Food and staff lovely, it was very slow on service, but not surprising due to COVID restrictions. Staff did the best they could on a busy night. However we did wait forever. I would go again.
The food was exquisite as always. It's a beautiful restaurant and the service is fantastic and very friendly.
The service was incredibly slow, was not provided with a drinks menu upon being seated and had to request one. No waitor came to our table to serve us throughout the entire evening - we had to call someone over to our table each time.
Food was delicious just a shame about the service.
We had a very enjoyable meal at Cinnamon Kitchen on Saturday evening. We chose the 9 dish tasting menu which was delightful (particularly the starters) and reasonably priced Good service and nice surroundings. Occasional rail noise but what can you expect being in the railway arches!!
Restaurant was a bit quiet for a Saturday lunchtime but food and service were very good.
Excellent service and really interesting food. It was early afternoon and very quiet but that suited us.
Tasty food, good portions and a nice take on Indian classics.
This was the first restaurant visit for my family and I. It was a good experience, but ambiance was lacking because of the reduced number of diners. I felt it was a bit expensive at £60 per head.
We had the tasting menu and it was great, such a good way to try a lot of the menu!
The sharing testing menu for 33 GBP that includes 9 dishes and 1 drink is a bargain. All dishes are well spiced and cooked of which 3-4 are outstanding whilst the remaining a very good. This is a very good option for dinner with friends in a perfectly modern and vibrant ambience paired with contemporary Indian food managed by a very good chef. It is worth coming back.
Enjoyed the 9 dish set menu; fabulous value. Arrive hungry!!!
