I’m in San Diego visiting from NY and I saw this place on Instagram. It looked so cute and their aperitivo deal sounded great. There was two of us and
Amazing restaurant. The food and drinks are delicious (my favorite drink was the Hugo and you have to try the prosciutto piadina and don’t think about leaving without getting the gelato!) and the staff is so kind and friendly and helpful. We had Joya and she was just a joy! The interior and exterior are both very cute. Went for Mother’s Day and my moms loved it
Very fresh ingredients
New concept ,all you can eat charcuterie appetizers paired with 1 glass of wine for 29.99 not a great dinner. More wine after 1st glass is extra.
Coupled with sitting in bare parking lot, ambiance was
Less than 1. Inside looked better but DJ playing loud music not conducive to pleasant dining.
Amazing new place in La Jolla!
First time an
Delicious and not super heavy, which is nice for the middle of the day. Very friendly staff and fun ambiance.
Great new addition to the La Jolla scene. In line with the high expectations set up by Ambrogio15, this place excels and introduces a new concept that will surely resonate with a young and hip crowd. Auguri!
I am so happy they opened this new place! I really liked they have so many vegan options! They have a lot of cool drinks too... we enjoyed the aperitivo so much! Specially these days that we cannot travel, it made me feeI I was in Italy, literally. The ambience and decor is really cool, the DJ was playing...Definitely a spot to try... you cannot find places like this around!
So happy I stumbled on this amazing new concept that just opened few blocks from my house! As a La Jolla resident it’s so nice to finally have a fun place to enjoy the Italian aperitivo with friends! It literally felt like i was transported to a summer night in Milano! The food was awesome and the spritzes delicious, i recommend trying the Pantalone with fresh grapefruit and tonic!
The restaurant is cool and the vibe is great!
I heard they will have a DJ on weekend nigths and i cant wait to go back and bring all my friends!
I went to try the food...but i had no idea they had an Italian style apertivo. The apertivo aspect was cool. You pay for your entrance fee then you get a free tower of nibbles and if you more food you just ask, and you only have to pay for your drinks!!!
Amazing Aperitivo Experience, it felt just like in Italy!
I strongly recommend trying the Piadina with Salamino Piccante and Provola, and the Beet Carpaccio, to die for!
Great spritz selections and fun vibe!
Loved the food tower idea where you pay a flat price and you get unlimited bites!
We’ll be back soon, salute!
Ciao Ciao is a super fun new place. Loved the ambiance, the people working there as they were very accommodating, the music such as the food served. Awesome place to have a bottle or two😉. I can’t wait to go back!
I loved the drinks and the food terrific as well. Very nice ambiance, the staff was as nice as can be and very attentive! Would recommend to all my friends
Cute place - we sat outside in the parking lot/patio. Kinda pricey for what you get. Spritzes were yummy but small. The bites were okay, not special or noteworthy - average cheese and Italian cold cuts and olives. The bread had diced tomatoes with no standout flavors. Overall I’d say great idea - I do miss being in Italy and having spritzes! - but the food was bland and uninspiring.
