Chucs Cafe Chelsea serves up early morning coffee, healthy breakfast bowls (alongside heartier options if you're in the mood) and an array of lunchtime dishes - think Burrata with Black Olive & Fennel, the classic Cobb Salad and (of course) plenty of pizza and pasta.

Come evening, the lights are dimmed and coffee cups make way for twinkling candles. Join us for an aperitivo and cicchetti at the bar, or an intimate dinner with friends - we'll be serving up Truffle Arancini, Beef Carpaccio with Chucs Sauce, as well as Risotto with Squash, Amaretti & Sage. Don't forget to leave room for our famous Tiramisu.

The table was not ready for us and we were seated twenty mins late. The table was not wiped down before we were seated.

This was an awful experience. Our table was booked for 8.30pm, however, we weren’t seated until 9pm. We had to stand for 30mins in the cold waiting. We were then promised two glasses of Prosecco to make up for the wait. These never arrived. My friend then ordered a burger, at which point they said they had run out of burger buns (?) so the burger arrived without a bun and, instead, came with 2 slices of white everyday sliced bread (we were told it was sourdough - it was a warburton loaf). My friend then found a large piece of PLASTIC in his burger. The burger was sent back and replaced with a pizza - at which point it was almost 10 and we’d both lost the will. Awful, never again.

Fun, trendy restaurant with a lively out door terrace. Food is average with service consistently “hit and miss” - but in an odd way this is part of its charm

The waitress was super attentive and friendly and provided an excellent service. The food seemed slightly overpriced for what it was but it was yummy overall. It’s a cute little spot slightly hidden away

This was not a great experience. Exceptionally rude staff, we were rushed in and out even though we had a 1.5 hour booking and the food was extremely plain for the price. Tables outside were cramped with no social distancing, just generally a let down.

Very rude staff, service was horrendous. Meal came missing half of the sides, was told upon ordering that everything was available and then only when the food arrived “sorry those sides aren’t actually available”. Still charged full price. Very old man unwell across the street so my friend asked for some water to give to him. Staff sneered and were extremely rude and derogatory about the old unwell gentlemen which was frankly embarrassing to be in the presence of. Waitress then rudely said they’d have to amend the bill to add on the water bottle for the man! Waitress then clearly stupid as couldn’t half the bill amount correctly. Shambles and I’m embarrassed to have been there and will be posting on every social media and review website going that this place is disgusting in every sense of the word. As a local resident and active community member I’m going to make sure everyone knows of my experience. Staff should be ashamed of themselves.

First waitress who was older and had darker hair had a terrible attitude and was rude. Forgot items from the order and dismissed us. Such a shame as I’ve had wonderful experiences at the Kensington cafe.
