   The food is delicious! The new Happy Hour menu is great for tasting smaller portions of the dinner offerings. If one can't decide which of the full-size dinner bowls to pick, one can choose a couple of the offerings from the happy hour menu. It'll be enough food. The noise level can be very lively. On Mondays they have a DJ. With music and diners talking loudly over the music it can get extremely loud. Avoid Mondays if you are planning on catching up with friends over dinner.

   I truly love this restaurant! From a little suite in the post market hall to their standalone brick and mortar that is just beautifully decorated. The energy is always high. The service is always great and the food is always 10 out of 10 out of 10 out of 10. I was hungry today but didn’t want anything heavy so I decided to go with a salad and hope that I wouldn’t regret it and let me tell you That was the best salad I’ve ever had in my life !!so many layers so many flavors and a hefty salad I was able to take some home for lunch the next day.the chips and dip was sooo good and a nice way to get more greens in! I don’t personally know the owner, but I’m just so extremely happy for all that they’re doin. this is what Good quality food should be like. This is the value that we look for when we’re spending 20 and $30 on a meal and sometimes more per person chop N block is setting a standard and to be doing it with nontraditional food for the America mannnnn I pray God continues to bless this business!

   Absolutely delicious food if you love spice - unique flavors for the Houston market. This restaurant certainly stands out. Nice, refreshing non-alcoholic beverage selection along with a solid cocktail menu. I'll definitely return soon!

   I brought 8 colleagues from out of town to experience West African cuisine. While we originally planned for 6 guests, our group grew to 8, and I truly appreciate the staff's creativity and flexibility in accommodating the change. Although I could sense some understandable stress from the team, they did their best to ensure we were taken care of. The food was a hit—my colleagues couldn’t stop raving about the rich, diverse flavors. We ordered a variety of dishes to sample as much as possible, and every bite sparked conversation. A special shoutout to the owner/chef who graciously stopped by our table to chat, welcome us warmly, and even take a photo with us. I’ll definitely be returning—for date nights with my wife, friend meetups, or whenever I want to treat visitors to something special.

   Excellent food and seasoned to perfection. Just know there is a limit on how long you can sit. They should just tell you this when you first sit to manage expectations. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend!

    Everything was excellent. The food was just as described from the waitress (Tammy) and she was spot-on with her recommendations. We will be going back again as the food was fresh and flavorful!
