Restaurant Week at ChoLon is truly one of the best deals in town. Many Restaurant Week menus are not that much of a deal from their original menus, but ChoLon's choices are considerably cheaper, and sooooooooo delicious.
We enjoyed every single bite of everything, from the delicately breaded calamari and their always-perfect HAND MADE potstickers, to the fabulous Malaysian noodles (always a favorite), to the miso cod that was delicate and so buttery it melted in our mouths. I was stuffed by the time the Vietnamese donuts came out, but they were also delicious.
Great spot for a date! We went during Denver Restaurant week and really enjoyed it. A little on the pricey side but the food is equal to what you are paying. Awesome food, great staff experience!
Great service & food! Top notch dining experience
Imaginative food, nice atmosphere, and good service
Delicious food. Went for restaurant week which can be dicey bit it was delicious and service was impeccable. A little expensive but food is amazing
Food was incredible and the service was great!
We went for restaurant week and the menu was $90 for two people with everything designed to be shared. The food and service were excellent. Afterwards I was looking at their full menu to see what other items they had beyond what was offered with restaurant week and was dismayed to discover if I had ordered the exact same items individually from the regular menu it would've been $9 cheaper. Also the portion sizes would have been bigger. Restaurant week is designed to bring new customers in to try new restaurants at a discount. Cholon used it as a reason to inflate prices and left me feeling like I had been cheated. I emailed management but have not received a response. It's all very disappointing and now I doubt I would go back.
The cod was pinkish grey inside making me think it was not cooked properly. The calamari was tender and flavorful but greasy which was disappointing. Staff was friendly and kind but we won’t be going back.
Relatively small but interesting menu. One dish was pathologically spicy(ribs). We had one gluten-free diner who was well accommodated. I would have preferred a larger, more flexible winelist.
Our server was great and very attentive to details! The next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be back!
Ian, Delice (sp?) and Ozzy do such a phenomenal job and every experience is unique! As a person who entertains clients frequently, this is my number one spot because they get everything right every single time. It’s warm and familiar, the food is phenomenal, and the design of the restaurant itself it’s so visually stunning. BIG fan! ☺️
Interesting menu. The potstickers were excellent. Service was great.
Superb wok hei flavor with the Malaysian stir fry noodles, also had Wagyu beef skewers, Onion soup dumplings, miso cod, and 5 spice doughnuts, all excellent.
Some of the best food I’ve had (out) in a while. Pork belly buns and rangoons, cod and ribs - all outstanding (except the almost afterthought slaw/salad that came as a side with the ribs).
I'm so so happy Cholon is over here now! The service was exceptional from the moment we walked in and the manager went out of his way to be oh so hospitable. This location is more casual chic than the contemporaily modern vibe DT & we throughly enjoyed ever minute. Thanks !!
The food is incredibly unique and absolutely delicious! The soup dumplings are the stuff dreams are made of and I would come back for the Kaya toast alone! The pork belly buns are among the best in Denver and the service was fantastic. Bonus points for the place being immaculate and all employees wearing their masks properly!
i dont like hyped places. like at all. any time ill go to a place i saw multiple times on social media, most the time will be super disappointing . i did try to lower my expectations in order to not be disappointed but it didnt work.
15$ drinks were small and not crafted well. no flavor.
starters - shrimp(fresh but a miss, batter was off flavor was weird. served to us on an extra oily plate), wings(they say they cook them for 24 hours in confit then fry and then grill them. tasted like grilled wings with burnt Carmel ), and over hyped soup dumplings (tiny! tasted good tho but 3.5$ for one?!)
then we god the cod (flavorless, weird sweet salad on top)
and the beef short rib curry (might be the best thing we ordered, even though they have to put on the menu something saying its very spicy!)
we always get dessert at places, but had to give up on the desert here, also since they only had spiced doughnuts and sorbet.
the service was very good , that we can say for sure. friendly, and always making sure were okay.
in conclusion, i dont have a problem to spend a lot of money for nice bites and drinks, and it may be that some people will be really impressed from this place but if im paying i want to be amazed at least from one dish, something that will make me come back. didnt get it here.
Excellent job all around! Thank you.
Love Cholon. They have never disappointed us with service to food. Highly recommend.
Birthday dinner... lots of good food to share and the service from Lucy was wonderful!
Excellent food, amazing service
If you love asian fusion this place is fantastic!
Servers were great. Food and mocktails were excellent.
After so many months of take out, it was a true treat to have such a delicious meal with such kind staff. Tables were well spaced for distancing and all the staff wore masks. We shared the cod and Brussels sprouts, of course the soup dumplings, and splurged on crispy calamari. Surprise standout was the Brussel sprouts?! Not to be missed, will be craving those again soon. Everything was delicious and we will be back again soon.
Food and service was delicious!
ChoLon never disappoints. We went with our kids (8 and 6) during happy hour and got one or two of just about everything, along with a few cocktails. Soup dumplings and kaya toast were the favorites of the group as a whole but we loved everything. Wonderful service, Covid-cautious, very spread out. It was such a great dining experience.
I just love ChoLon and this is the first time I've eaten there since COVID restrictions began. I'm so happy the quality of food and service remains outstanding!
I am probably one of the few that prefer the ChoLon Stapleton over the downtown location. The food is equally delicious, but this location just seems quieter, more laid back. The service was excellent, and the food is amongst the best Denver has to offer.
Is it weird that both locations have really heavy front doors? Weird style choice.
The food is always excellent, Kaya toast and soup dumplings are my personal favorites! The staff here are always so welcoming and accommodating even when things don’t go quite as planned!
Took great care of us. Table wasn’t quite ready at our reservation time so they seated us with a drink in the bar. Very attentive. Food excellent. Atmosphere excellent
Cholon is always a great meal and the wait staff are always a huge compliment to the wonderful food.
Amazing food, amazing service and the place is beautiful and romantic! Loved our experience!
Always amazing food!
Food is always amazing! The pork belly boa buns, potstickers and of course the soup dumplings are my favorite starters, although we tried the chicken wings and they were spectacular. The fried rice, Brussel sprouts and short rib are a must. Best non-sushi Asian restaurant!
Hi Yosh, Thank you for dining with us at ChoLon Central Park! We're so happy you enjoyed your meal, especially our newer dishes like the wings & short rib. Hope to see you in again soon. Best, Savanna Ronco CRC
Excellent drinks, service, and food! Local favorite for sure!
Our server was incredible, the manager is always so friendly. This is by far our favorite go-to restaurant in the Denver area
Good food and service. I’d recommend this place very much
We simply couldn't help ourselves and ordered one small plate too many!
We love small plates and Cho Lon's menu offered lots of choices.
Turns out the last one was just a bit more than we should have ordered, but worth finding out. All were delightful and different. The Waygu beef was our favorite, followed by the Pork Belly Buns.
Excellent service and wonderful ambience. We will return!
Absolutely love this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and will be back again!
