Chimney Park is a first class restaurant. Amazing food, professional service, perfect ambiance for a special occasion.
We were celebrating our granddaughters 9th birthday & they were wonderful with her. Made her feel extra special without embarrassing her or over doing it. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was excellent & our service was exceptional.
Best restaurant in Northern Colorado and top in its class. Deserves Michelin status. The wine pairings are perfect for each course!
What a lovely dinner! We had scallops and halibut. Both were divine. As always, this was a superb dining experience.
My favorite restaurant in the area. The food is outstanding. The atmosphere is lovely. The staff is professional and friendly.
We celebrated my birthday at Chimney Park a couple days ago. I had requested a quiet table and they gave us a table tucked into a nook that was perfect. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our food was also excellent. I started with the lump crab cakes and they were primarily lump crab meat with practically no filler--perfect! My husband had the mixed greens salad which he said was great. I had the angus beef ribeye filet and requested it medium. It was perfectly grilled and the accompanying potatoes, mushrooms and asparagus were just wonderful. My husband had the halibut and indicated it was also perfect. Our waiter gave us a chocolate treat at the end of the meal, with Happy Birthday on the plate, in chocolate. It was a perfect dinner and we will definitely return!
The octopus appetizer is superb. Menu changes nightly and always has specials. Our main special tonight was baramundi which was outstanding. Emily, our server, is extremely knowledgeable and delivered in a deep sexy almost raspy voice. A wonderful 3 hour experience.
Our 25th wedding anniversary. We had so much fun with the chefs 5 course menu. It was great to be surprised and the food was amazing! Thankyou
My favorite restaurant EVER. The cuisine and Chef's choice 5 course (especially with the wine pairing) is not just a meal, it is an experience to be appreciated. It is the one place that I look forward to dishes I could not cook at home. The wait staff and presentation make the experience even more appealing and complete. Very personal service and very knowledgeable staff.
Also, for a person with a food-pervasive, yet odd , allergy, the chef always serves me something on par with those who do not have restrictions, which is very much appreciated.
We LOVE this restaurant! It is a go to for us for special occasions, but also for date night. The staff is amazing and the food is sublime. We highly recommend this restaurant. It is a little gem in Windsor and worth the drive.
Any issue I had food wise was due to personal preferences. With that being said the food was good but I felt the prices were high when compared to other restaurants I have been to, comparing apples to apples. The staff was VERY friendly and attentive. The small are contributed to a high noise volume. It also could have been due to a larger group sitting next to us. When it was all said and done I would recommend Chimney Park to a friend with the cautions that I have listed. The only other issue was the reservation process. I had planned the evening as a surprise for my wife. Upon completion of the reservation Open table automatically attached it to my calendar which my wife has access to. I could have deleted it but wanted the confirmation to show if something went wrong.
Outstanding food and service!!
Will go back again and again...
Fabulous as always!!
Best restaurant i have ever had the privilege of dining in. Moving away and i am so going to miss Chimney Park.
What a wonderful dining experience. Everything "done RIGHT!" : - ) We've never been disappointed with our area's finest restaurant!!
We really loved the food, very delicious, nicely prepared. Staff was flawless.
Absolutely great! Food was amazing service was wonderful!
Amazing food. Husband and I had our anniversary dinner here, loved the chefs tasting menu. Worth every penny.
This was the second time that I have dined at this restaurant and it was an impeccable evening. My father was in town visiting and we both wanted to return to Chimney Park for a second taste. The care and attention to detail to both the meal and service was superb. Our waiter/ bartender Christopher answered any questions and his attention made sure our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. He also made us two variations of our favorite cocktail, a manhattan, and we can't wait to have them again. Bryan was an excellent and perceptive sommelier with a clear understanding of the complexity of flavors in the lamb saddle dish I ordered and paired it perfectly. He knew what was best and made sure we were absolutely satisfied. Chimney Park will always be my special occasions restaurant.
Graduation
We enjoyed our dinner at Chimney Park. The service was excellent, and it was nice to be able to talk to one another at the table without shouting! The food was enjoyable, but I must admit that we did not feel it lived up to the reputation we have heard. I was hoping for more creativity and flavor. Our server recommended the carrot cake as the best he had eaten. It was certainly tasty, but not special. So, we had a nice, pleasant dinner, but we probably will not drive 30 minutes again to return there from Fort Collins.
As always, the food and service were top notch. The dining area is much more elegant since the remodel last summer. Enjoyed every course. Excellent wine list
Chimney Park is one of the few restaurants in the region that can accommodate my health and dietary needs easily, pleasantly and deliciously. Not only that, they took note the first time and I've never had to explain myself again. I am forever loyal. Their service, food and atmosphere is top notch. Their Naturally Raised Bison New York Strip is amazing.
The 5-course tasting menu was amazing! Three of us got different food for each course. And we all loved it so much. Chef would tailor your taste. The portion was really good as well. You wouldn't feel hungry like when you eat in some other fancy restaurants after a couple course, then still need to eat free bread to fill yourself up...
By far the top 3 restaurants I’ve eaten at. The attention to detail is on another level. Each course has a different plate that accents the food. The food itself is complex and each bite is an experience. The presentation of the food is thoughtful and further adds to the experience. The newly renovated building is inviting, cozy, and somehow makes the food better. The service is precise, not pretentious, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our server made time to chat with us and we will definitely be requesting her when we return. I would eat at Chimney Park every night if my wallet would allow it and when special occasions arise it’s no question where I will be spending them, Chimney Park. It’s better than any 5 star restaurant in Denver, and comparable to the 5 star restaurant I’ve eaten at in San Fransisco and Los Angeles. Call and ask who the owner/chef trained under and you will understand why I say it’s better or as good as the top restaurants in the US. Lastly, my favorite part is the desserts. Don’t take my word for it, go and try one or all, and I’m sure you will agree.
Always a fantastic place to dine. Tasting menu is fantastic as all of us got different plates and we enjoyed sharing! Service top notch!
We had the absolutely best meal that all five of us have ever had in our lives, including places across the world. The price is not cheap, and the food is worth every penny. Every plate was a work of art and tasted exquisite. People pay top dollar for a good massage or a rock concert. Add Chimney Park Bistro to your list of things worth paying for. Go with a group of 4-5 for an unforgettable dining experience, order the tasting menu, and witness unmatched culinary skill. BRAVO!
To any gourmand reading this review, Please add Chimney Park to your list of places to eat.
This is an absolute thrill ride for your palate. An amazing dining experience.
The food was excellent as was the service. I would highly recommend.
My fiancé and I had a delicious meal, our server was friendly and knowledgeable.
I love this place!!!!
My friend and I celebrated our birthdays at Chimney Park. The food is superb, and i think everyone knows that already. The waitstaff was efficient, pleasant, knowledgeable. They checked on us often enough without being intrusive and we never felt rushed. Perhaps best of all it is quiet enough in there to allow diners to carry on conversations without having to raise their voices. I highly recommend Chimney Park
My wife and I did the tasting menu with premium wine pairings. We both agree that this is the best meal we have had in Northern Colorado since moving from Chicago two years ago. We will be going back monthly.
We always enjoy Chimney Park, but this time our servers and the food were exceptional.
A true gem in northern Colorado. From the warm ambiance that greets you when you walk in to the spot on professional service from the entire staff. This Chef and his staff are true culinary artists, start with the charred Spanish octopus a truly unique dish.
The entrees are a wonderland that will make you want to try each, our favorite is the filet of Ribeye an you could never go wrong with the fresh fish of the day. Before you leave sample the Colorado apple french toast, a delicious take on bread pudding that won’t disappoint.
Finally we have to compliment the fantastic bar staff, their selection and creativity in drinks is outstanding.
The quality of the ingredients, the artistry of the presentations, and the skill of the preparation were all top notch. Kudos to the Chef and his staff!
Chefs dinner with wine selection is always the most fun for dinner. It is always a great surprise and the wine pairing is always perfect. This is my go to restaurant for special occasions and entertaining family and friends.
Food met high expectations. Chef started the evening with a little treat. Starters were very good. Entrees and dessert didn’t diasappont. The Ribeye was delicious! We will be back.
Chimney Park Bistro is amazing as usual. We've been going there for 10+ years and it's always great. We love the Chef's tasting menu with the wine pairing. It's not cheap, but really worth it.
This is my third visit. Have not been disappointed. It is the best restaurant for haute cuisine in Northern Colorafo, hands down. The food and service are excellent, and the wine list is very respectable. It is a little pricy by Colorado standards, but a bargain compared to comparable restaurants in Manhattan, LA, or San Francisco. Well worth it.
Very nice, service was amazing
