   The food here is great, actually it's really great and it's good value. The service on Saturday night really let it down though, it was very slow, even though the restaurant was not busy, the waitress never pro-actively came to our table to take drinks, food or the bill - we had to wait and try and get her attention each time. She also failed to tell us that their credit card machine had been down since the afternoon until *after* we had eaten when we tried to pay by card (none of us had cash and had to go and get it) which we were really unimpressed with.

   They need to make their space more welcoming. Lighting far too heavy duty. Felt I was in as goldfish bowl! Food OK but not dynamic. Something missing but not sure what !

   I have been to Chez Vous with my partner on various occasions as we both really enjoy the food and ambience. On this occasion some friends came to visit me and I recommended Chez Vous as a local option for our dinner. I am so glad we chose it because the owner was so welcoming and made a great impression on my guests, it felt like being welcomed into someone's home. The service was fast, friendly with a smile and a laugh, the food was delicious as always. I highly recommend the sheikh Mahshi, fatayer and the Fattoush salad, and my friend had the mixed grill and was very impressed. Great value for money and my friends will definitely return.
