When I made the reservation it did not indicate that there would be a mandatory price fix meal at $50 per person. The wait staff and manager used severe guilt tactics when I requested to order off the menu. The table they sat us at was right in front of the buffet line and people kept bumping my sons chairs. The layout was tight and not easy to maneuver. To top it off, the food was not good. Lastly, the "Father's Day" $10 off coupon was only good for the day after Father's Day.

The food was terrible. I got a cheese enchilada. It was cold and the cheese inside was not melted. I asked the waitress to take it back and have them melt the cheese. She brought me a new one and it was the same way.

Had to send food back 2x. Was under cooked the first tine the second time it was the wrong order. Had a pina colada that was not blended well and tasted like a margarita. Waitress Never checked on us only to bring food. Been coming here for a long time and it gets worse each time.

I’ve been coming to Chevy’s on the River for years, but after this last visit, I’m honestly not sure I’ll be back. Our group of six arrived at 3:30. We didn’t get waters until nearly 15 minutes later, and our pitcher of mango margaritas didn’t come until around 4:10 and only after I asked about them. Throughout the wait, we were brought food several times that wasn’t ours. It felt like the staff had no system for tracking which table ordered what. When our appetizers finally arrived.....ten minutes after the drinks....we had no appetizer plates. We asked for some, but they never came. We had to use napkins, and after running out, we asked for more. Those never came either, so I had to get up and find some myself. Entrées came around 4:30, and one person in our group who arrived at 4:00 didn’t get his burrito until about 4:45. I understand places get busy, and new staff need time to learn....but there were several employees just standing around, doing very little to help. The hostess didn’t make a good first impression either. She looked like she’d rolled out of bed and thrown on whatever was closest. When you’re the first face guests see, presentation matters.....it sets the tone for the entire dining experience. This used to be one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy a meal. Now, I’m just disappointed. I really hope they turn things around, but I won’t be coming back any time soon.

Food was great. Service was not good. Waitress forgot to order our food. We were with friends and we didn’t leave the restaurant til 2 hours later! Glad that the manager gave us each a discount for having to wait for so long.

We have been to this Chevys many times I’ve the years and this was very disappointing. We ordered the mixed grill fajiatas and they always come out sizzling afb this plate was barely warm. We felt like what we were served was food that was left over from an earlier brunch. We would have sent it back but the server was not having a good day and it seemed a bit pointless to try and get her to help. I’m not sure if we will be back.

The food and the service were both amazing. However, even though I had a 7 PM. Reservation, we did not get our table until 7:45.. Also, whoever was upstairs was so loud. Children stomping and jumping. We did not mind, just startled some people lol

Had to wait 1 1/2 hrs. to be seated!! Service was slow and inefficient. Food was terrible! I will never go back to Chevy's again. They said they can't control the reservations through OpenTable so they just keep getting more and more reservation, which I don't believe. I'm sure this was not their first Mother's Day they have had at this restaurant.
