   The food was delicious. I got the tofu and vegetable stir fry and a margarita. I would definitely recommend the garlic edamame!

   Hard to find with a small sign on the street to the stairs going up to the upper level restaurant..portions are small and prices are pretty high, parking is nearly impossible as the place is right in the nexus of the downtown in La Jolla.

   We had a party of nine and we’re celebrating my son’s graduation from UCSD. Even though the restaurant had a large party that evening they were able to accommodate us and did an excellent job. I would like to thank Art and his crew, everything from the food to service and ambiance was excellent. This restaurant (Cherrywine) went well above normal expectations and it was very much appreciated, thank you Art! Regards, Deborah and Family

   Food was great, wish I could say the same about the service. Took us over 20 minutes to get drinks ordered, and there were only two other occupied tables in the restaurant. Food took a while as well, and even longer of a wait for our check. I’ve been before but the service has definitely gone downhill.

   We were seated on a very cold porch even though there were tables inside available. The service was poor, extremely slow with all our entrees coming out in groups of 1 and 2 with 15-20 minutes between them. So some of us had to start eating or have a cold meal while everyone else at the table watched. Then we were finished eating and still had to wait for others at our table to get their entree and watch them eat. There was no explanation for this so not sure if this is norm here. The food was good but definitely not worth the cold cold wait to get it in such a broken up fashion.

   Wonderful flavors in dishes, delicious crab for sushi and excellent friendly service will definitely return to this unique restaurant!

   The owner met us on the stairs and was very attentive. He provided samples when we were choosing bubble tea flavors. One dish was left off of our order, and they worked to make it quickly, but it wasn’t as good as it would have been with the meal. Inside is small and well set up. The porch looked fantastic, but it was a chilly night. Overall nice experience.

   Very nice atmosphere, a bit on the pricey side. Portions are pretty okay. Their mojitos are delicious.

    Went there on valentines with a reservation and took forever to be seated. Then they took a long time to bring out appetizers and forgot to bring mine. They didn’t give us utensils as well. No one checked in on us. We waited Iong for our entree and they came out and asked what we ordered like they forgot our order. It was only us and another couple there it wasn’t busy. I wouldn’t go back. Took almost 2 hours for everything.
