Love the outdoor patio, very spaced out and safe. Great service, fab food and drinks - highly recommend!
Dining staff was good, but hostess and manager lacked poise and tact
No complaints, loved it! Thank you and I hope to visit again soon!
Delicious food and wonderful wine made for a fantastic date night! Definitely more on the pricey side, but it was a great meal and the ambiance was lovely.
Great atmosphere. Not to quiet nor crowded. Perfect for meeting someone for the first time.
The food was outstanding. Great service and ambiance.
Fabulous time. The food amazing. Service was perfect. The ambience was lovely. We loved it
Now I’m craving oysters so much. Service was great. Food excellent. Drinks delicious.
Awesome food, Awesome ambiance, Awesome service !!!!
Excellent menu - innovative, wide-ranging, and suitable for a variety of tastes. Cocktails were made well and delicious.
Food was amazing. Ambiance was not great due to pandemic. Everything else was excellent. Would go again.
Fast and efficient service even for VDAY! Such good food and really beautiful set up outside!
Arugula grapefruit avocado salad and octopus risotto were good staters.
Since it’s only outdoor dining, I would love to see improvements on chairs and tables. It was very uncomfortable. I was stuck between concrete wall in a tiny collapsible chair. Uncomfortable seating took away from nice relaxing dinner.
Valentine’s Day. Food was incredible but hated paying that much to sit in an alley.
Def not as good as the main location. This location is def quieter. Food was also not as good. Everything was ok.
Food and service were great. We were pleasantly surprised as there aren't too many reviews on yelp. We had the rack of lamb, seared scallops and the couscous royale - lamb stew; my favorite. Definitely hope to go back.
The food was not worth the cost
The food was inconsistent. I tried the special starter, a "green" soup which tasted like a cleanse rather than a savory vegetable based soup. The pistachio goat cheese tart was wonderful, with beets and tomatoes and dates and nuts... it was a delicious and inventive presentation. One of us ordered pappardelle with mushrooms, and it was extremely plain and incredibly bland, with the mushrooms and tomatoes mixed in but no sauce or coating on the noodles. The monkfish medallions wrapped in pancetta were very good with a flavorful sauce and lovely plating. The server didn't seem to know much about wine as he wasn't able to offer any advice at all about a pairing. We missed the intimacy of The Little Door on West 3rd Street, and will make sure to go back there instead of trying this popup again.
Very nice! First time there, service was great food was also delicious
Great food
Always have great food and service. I’ll be back again. I want to try all their food from the menu.
Great food!
We've known about The Little Door for years and tried to go previously but for one reason or another we never made it. Currently they are doing a pop-up at Harlowe on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. Having never been to the original location I can't compare it, but the ambiance in the outdoor dining area was very nice with little white lights strung on the rafters a funky chill soundtrack playing in the background.
Our waiter was very relaxed and his thick French accent added to the casual allure of the experience. We shared several appetizers and made it a small plates type of dinner. Everything was very good but the foie gras w/soft scrambled duck egg and lentils and the goat cheese tart with beets were standouts.
We shared a bottle of St. Emilion red wine that was earthy and lush and reasonably priced that paired perfectly with our food.
It was the first time since we've been out during COVID restrictions that a 90-minute time limit was actually enforced on our table, but they didn't have a lot of space and it was prime Saturday night, we had basically finished our meal so it wasn't that much of an imposition.
We were very happy with our experience and definitely plan to come back to The Little Door again soon!
Amazing pop up!
Definitely get the charred octopus. And the lamb stew 💯
I had a reservation booked for 7:45PM. Got there and they were closed...
Well spaced tables, amazing food - the salmon is GREAT!
Great food, good band playing music but a bit loud. Best to ge seated near a heater as out door dining this time of year gets chilly
Had a lovely meal and enjoyed their live music! The staff and management were incredibly gracious and friendly, and the food, wine and cocktails were top notch. I would definitely come back next time I’m visiting!
Great ambiance. Excellent food. They Eve have live entertainment. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back as soon as they reopen.
We had a great evening, with fine French dining (even for my French quite demanding husband). I enjoyed the foie gras and the goat cheese tart with an interesting salad combination of beet, dates, pistachio, fresh herbs, pomegranate. Frenchie had the tuna tartar and the lamb couscous. We paired those with a Sauternes- style wine (Essensia Orange Muscat by Quadi - California) - a great recommendation by Christian, our wonderful waiter. We will be back!
What a fantastic experience . A little bit of heaven in all the amazing entrees served at Harlowe. There is nothing that is not outstanding.
The mixed drinks are unique and special as well as the wines.
We had the charcuterie and cheese plate which was perfect with our wine. The filet mignon and potatoes gratin was very good. The white fish breaded with pistachio crust is very unique and flavorful.
We recommend if you want a great night out in a beautiful atmosphere and the staff is friendly and makes you feel at home.
SO delicious! Great ambiance. Great food. Attentive Staff!
food was divine!! we were regulars at the little next door, and now this is down the street from us!!! the absolute best
Great restaurant. The food is incredible. Loved the foie gras!!!
Great ambiene, follows covid guidelines, great dinner!
Food is delicious! Ambiance is great. Shame about traffic noise.
Food was overall pretty good, the service left a little to be desired but I understand given all that is going on servers are stretched pretty thin. We had a great meal and will definitely be back.
Delicious food
Nice friendly people
Will definitely go back
awesome.. great staff ---always good... trying different options but so far all is good
The place is delightfully situated in their front and side patio. If on the side (it use to be the driveway for all the limos that would drop off celebrities when it was another restaurant. Note outdoors they didn't have enough heaters when we were there, so dress warmly just in case, but a great permanent roof is installed, so no worries about rain. Note: They said from the start we had 90 minutes and then must vacate. We got there at 7:30pm and we had to chase down the check at 10:30pm So if there is a rush, we didn't experience it. The food is quite good. Staff appeared to be one waiter covering all the tables. We were a party of four, and the food was great for all of us. Quite tasty, though a tad higher than I would expect. Some of the meals averaged about $26 all the way up to $38. With an Appetizer, Main Meal, Desserts and each of us ordering two drinks each, we averaged about $100 each person. So not too bad. We definitely will go back again.
