Finally recognized for there talents Chef Charles and Wife (Lecia Wilford )was awarded Best Black Chef in there region in Philadelphia 2019
During Covid and with much Prayer God spoke to chefs heart and told him , (its time) and in October 2020 Chef Charles House * The Bistreaux was created. In 2023 another opportunity came which gave him and his wife more exposer better location and lager space . 2023 Feb 28 Welcome Chef Charles Bis`Treaux (new name /same chef)

Our part of four had the entire restaurant to ourselves, my wife loved that. The egg rolls where amazing. I had the stuffed chicken with Cajun rice and French fries . The fries stood out. Wife had the salmon with okra she loved the okra, the salmon was just ok. Our guest loved the steak and okra . The owners where amazing.

We were greeted at the door by Chef Charles' wife Lecia. He came out briefly to introduce himself as well. Very nice people. We started with the shrimp & crabmeat egg rolls- OMG! EXCELLENT!!! All the entrees were well prepared and hot upon serving. Chef's wife Lecia gave us excellent service and spent time chatting with us about their restaurant business and places they have lived. Very enjoyable meal and dining experience. Next time it will be the egg rolls and beer (if they let me BYOB). NOTE- The restaurant does not serve alcohol.
