We had an early dinner reservation at 4:30 pm. There was a line of people waiting for the doors to open.
It would have been nice if the manager let the folks in a little earlier due to the severe wind and cold.
It was wonderful
service was superb and food was very good. Lovely setting but parking situation needs improvment.
Value of our experience was ok for the coconut shrimp appetizer- 5 little shrimp for a big price. Really???
Unusual to have just a "fair' meal at the Chart House, however, brunch was just that. One in our party had a Denver Omelet which was rubbery and barely warm. The veggies looked as though they were laid on as an after thought. The mezze w/ shrimp was ok; veggies were good but the shrimp were overcooked and the rectangular hot plate on which it was served, allowed the juices to run onto the table. The cream of crab soup was it's usual excellent as well as the wicked tuna tacos. The sirloin benedict was very good as well. 99 cent mimosas? That's a hard no--spend the extra and get different cocktail. We've had brunch here many times and never saw such a "tiny pour," for even the the 99 cent drink. Maybe 4 oz served in a large wine glass. :( This experience was probably not enough to keep us away, but surprisingly disappointing.
Went for brunch to celebrate mother in laws 80th birthday. Truly appalling. Took 3 hours for our meal to finish. Service is awful. Food is subpar. Do not bother. Way way overpriced. Only good thing is the water view
Very poor experience compared to prior visits. Seated next to bar/TVs-too noisy and not what I expect from an “nice” restaurant. More important, the food we got that night was terrible. I ordered prime rib medium rare and it came almost raw. I sent it back and it was put under the broiler and came back brown. I was not given another cut - what I ordered. Moreover, the beef was very tough.
My wife ordered swordfish. The small piece of fish she received was round and about 1/4” thick. It bore no resemblance to swordfish in appearance or taste, and I question whether it was even swordfish. In any case, it wasn’t worth anywhere near the $33 charge.
On the positive side, the staff was agreeable and tried to be helpful. When I mentioned the food concerns, $10 was subtracted from the bill. An appreciated gesture but the overall experience was unsatisfactory.
The setting and the building are beautiful. Our waitress was outstanding. The food ranged from delicious to cold to send it back. I'd recommend the place but with caveats.
Very nice waiter, yet at times to overbearing other times long period of waiting... The steak for the money was not worth of cost. Served not as promised with a lot of fat... On our 44 anniversary we’ll remember, but a beautiful place with friendly employees...
The ambiance on the water was very nice. Our waiter was very good!
This is the second time we have dined at the Annapolis Chart House. Both times the dining experience was very enjoyable. Don't forget to order the Dark Chocolate Lava Cake- the best!!
Daughters 21st Birthday
Celebrated my Birthday and everything was great from the moment we were greeted seated and served.
A favorite neighborhood restaurant for Sunday brunch! Great value, service and location.
Delicious food, Excellent service, great views, & reasonably priced.
Perfect, thank you.
Our server, Scott, was awesome! Made my boyfriend's birthday very special!
Service was fabulous, food delicious, and wonderful experience!
This was pretty disappointing for the price. The restaurant was totally dead on a Friday night, but service was still incredibly slow. We even had to wait a while to get bread and drinks for our table. Also, we were celebrating a special event, so the restaurant had told us they would print a special menu noting the occasion and bring out a complimentary dessert. They totally forgot the menu and had to be reminded of the dessert. The food was overall pretty good but I was really surprised by the level of service at this price point.
We hadn’t been to the Chart House in many years. My husband grew up going there. We were so pleased to see it has maintained its place as a top seafood restaurant! Love the remodel. Food was outstanding. We will definitely go back again!
The location and design of the Chart House is exceptional. On the waterfront of Eastport overlooking the Annapolis harbor, the dining area is bright and airy. The main event of a visit is sadly lacking. The food at the Chart House continues to disappoint. Presentation is flashy but does not cover the fact that mediocre ingredients and sloppy cooking rule in the kitchen. Yes, the wait staff are professional and the room design is excellent, but I will not return to pay for overpriced entrees that are frustratingly unfulfilling.
The Chart House is a nice building in a great location with nice views. Alas, the quality of the food--especially for the price--just doesn't keep up. Of five entrees, one was excellent (tuna with wasabi sauce), one was good (if the peanut sauce was left off), two steaks were served cool, and the last fish (flounder w/crab) was poor. Go to the Chart House for the view but not the food.
Loved everything. Exceptional service from Kenya. Sat immediately. Excellent food.
Crab legs were huge and awesome as usual
They did cut the birthday mud pie in a half size but what do you want for free
It was a great experience
Wonderful service. Great way to spend my moms birthday.
We love this place. Food and ambience are great (though we were in the far back corner for New years and preferred better/front window seating for the fireworks). Service was excellent considering we were a large group.
New Years Eve. Let’s just say the view of the fireworks while dining on the water was amazing! A very competent waiter. Great recommendations. Knowledgeable. Attentive. 5 star experience.
New Years Eve
Evening was great until we learned that one of the coats we checked was given to another customer when they left. My friend's phone was in the pocket too. Fortunately, we tracked it down through an app and recovered it the next day.
Go to this restaurant all the time. Always perfection: service, food,
ambiance, and price.
Service and food excellent. New Year’s eve celebration for three couples. Started at the bar, then dinner at our table by the window (as requested!), then back to the bar to continue our celebration. Fun evening made even more so by the great staff!
Food was awful. Filet was DRY. Mushrooms tasted like rubber Asparagus could not even bite through. I absolutely hate the new decor. The last time I was there for my hubby’s bday was 5 yrs ago. Swore we’d never return, but went for his bday again. BIG MISTAKE! Nothing but somewhat-average food, at 5 star prices. NO THANK YOU 🤬🤬 Not to mention we drove 1 1/2 hrs to get there.
The Chart House brunch is great. Special prices on mimosas and Bloody Marys. The Blackened Prime rib and tenderloin eggs Benedict were fantastic. The service was outstanding.
The Chart House always delivers with a delicious meal, great service, and an awesome view of the Annapolis waterfront. My family had a memorable holiday meal and can't wait to return for our next meal. See you soon!
Overal great experience
Very nice simple menu not over complex but prepared correctly
Service very friendly and professional
Cost was on par with what was served and location
Atmosphere was great felt private and quite even though the restaurant was full
The food was exceptional and our server Brandon was extremely helpful and courteous. Will definitely visit again and recommend to friends.
Food was awesome! We all loved it. Dessert was Devine.
Horribly overpriced in my opinion and that’s coming from a foodie couple. We don’t shy at spending on a 5-star meal, but this didn’t hit that mark. I suppose that’s why we haven’t been in ~20 years.
Food was low quality for the price.
Despite a reservation we were seated 20 minutes later in a cold adjacent somewhat empty room off from the main dining area. Steak was undercooked. King crab legs were not warm. Vegetables were not crisp to cutting. Stuffed shrimp was not at temperature or edible. Salmon arrived after other meals and was fine. Overall-disappointed.
