    Very disappointed with my booking. Lovely place but clearly massively understaffed & wasn’t able to have more than a croissant & cuppa as was going to take too long. Very nice staff & delish raspberry croissant.

    I usually really enjoy this place, but this visit was a bit frustrating. My mum and I were charged £45 for two toasts and an orange juice, which felt excessive — especially considering the mix-ups with our order. We asked for: One hummus beetroot toast with no egg, swapped for halloumi. One with hummus, smoked salmon, and asked for the egg (included) to be well-done. Instead, we received: A runny egg on the one that was meant to have none and 3 runny eggs on the one that was meant to have just the one egg well-done. We sent my plate back and left my mums who put the runny egg on the side to avoid further delay. The staff were friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. But even with that, the final bill didn’t quite make sense. Two toasts: £22 add on smoked salmon: £6 Halloumi: £5 (even though it replaced the egg but ok) Two extra eggs we didn’t ask for: £4 Orange juice: £4 That adds up to £41 at most. Personally, I already find £45 for two toasts a bit steep — and even more so when the order isn’t quite right. Still love the food, but this visit missed the mark in terms of communication.

    Delicious Salmon Benedict! Coffee was also really good with identifiable tasting notes. Service was prompt, staff were friendly. Would absolutely recommend.

    The food was absolutely delicious! It was of the highest quality. We had a really friendly waiter, but the service was a bit slow. It took a while for our food and drinks to arrive. Despite that, it was still a great experience.
