    A wonderful experience from start to finish! The hosts at Cesarina are warm, welcoming, and impressively organized—it sets the tone the moment you walk in. You’re greeted with fresh focaccia and water served in charming little rooster pitchers (a delightful touch). We started with cocktails; I highly recommend the Italian Gin Primo if you’re into dirty martinis, and the Belli Tutti if you’re a mezcal fan—both were fantastic. We were lucky to have Sydnee and Laura as our servers, and they were absolute gems—genuine, attentive, and full of great recommendations. They made the experience feel personal and fun, and we never had to ask for more water or bread (always a win). Managers Milan and Chris also stopped by to check in, and they were both incredibly charismatic and caring. You can tell they’re passionate about creating a great experience for every guest. One thoughtful touch: they handed out souvenir hand fans to keep the flies away. So cute and practical. Also, the Italian electro swing playlist? Iconic. Fun, upbeat, and perfectly matched to the vibe. As for food, we shared the polpo, mussels, and scampi—every dish was delicious, portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. Major kudos to the kitchen team. We’ll absolutely be back. Cesarina nails it across the board—ambiance, service, cocktails, and food.

    Cesarina's is an absolute wonderful place to eat incredible food and enjoy the atmosphere. The restaurant is family owned and operated at the highest level. One of the owners makes sure to spend a few minutes at each table ensuring that you are enjoying your meal, asking if there is anything more he can do for you and just making you feel special and welcomed. I would whole heartedly recommend Cesarina's to anyone. You definitely get every what you pay for and more.

    This is absolutely my favorite restaurant! Cuisine Italian food and the service is wonderful. All of the staff treats you as if you are their special guest. A must do when one is in San Diego!

    Must try in Ocean Beach. The octopus was outstanding. Get the daily pasta special. Table side tiramisu was a great finish.

    The truffle gnocchi was out-of-this-world. My strawberry mocktail was delicious even without alcohol. Whatever you do, save room for the tableside tiramisu, it is magic.

    Such an amazing night! From beginning to end the experience was incredible! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable! They really know how to host a special occasion!!! And the food… EVEN BETTER!

    Absolutely impeccable service, the entire staff was wonderful and I’m still dreaming about the food the next day. Best pasta I’ve ever eaten. Do yourself a favor and get the Lamache pasta either with the Pomodoro Fresco or Bolognese…both sauces are delicious. We also got the table side Tiramisu. 100/10. No notes. Thank you!

    Came for a birthday celebration and we had the best time! The service is excellent and the food was delicious! I can’t wait to go back :)
