    It was a cute spot. The food was good, my boyfriend wanted some more salt in his pasta, but overall it was decent. My lemon drop had too much lemon in it but the cornbread was good & honestly doesn’t need the glaze the butter is amazing.

    A small restaurant with great food and service. We will be back as we want to try other items on the menu. Great resturant for date night. You need to make reservations and was told park on the street, the parking lots are aggressive and will boot your car. We did not have an issue finding a spot close to the restaurant.

    We were there on a Wednesday night with the restaurant being closed on Monday and Tuesday, so I am not sure if this was a factor however my fish was not fresh. Service was good, drinks were sweeter than I like however they did not go to waste. This was my second visit. First visit was on the weekend and all three of us really enjoyed our meals.

    Went for restaurant week with 3 couples (kind of a traditional get together) and had a wonderful meal from the special menu. Drinks were excellent all around. And the food was full of flavor and hitting on all levels. Our group really enjoyed it and we will be back. Our server was very nice and engaging. Couldn't have asked for a better dinner out with friends.

    Food was absolutely amazing. We had the cornbread and egg roll appetizers and the catfish Laurel as an entree. Service was wonderful. Our waitress was very sweet and efficient. The restroom did not have a changing station, but the host was kind enough to bring a chair for me to use as a makeshift changing table. He was extremely kind and helpful.

    Came in for restaurant week and was not disappointed! Duck confit was sensational, rabbit and dumplings was my wife’s favorite and the desserts were perfect. Great service and atmosphere!

    Cecelia is invariably exceptional. Service is always top notch. Cocktails are perfectly made. And the food! Their gnocchi is a perfect dish, worth the visit on its own. The cornbread is delicious, especially with greens. Last night, I had the blackened redfish, covered in crawfish Etouffee, and served with greens and mashed potatoes. I tried to save some for later, but couldn’t resist finishing it. My fiancé loved her fried alligator and Cecelia salad as well. We are blessed to have this gem downtown!

    Great place for a date night quiet, food was outstanding, drinks were good alligator for appetizer is a must, everything was hot and fresh. Jerk chicken and red beans was a hit, cornbread taste like a big pancake with syrup overall can't wait to get back soon.

    Our reserved table wasn’t ready so that was disappointing- but we were able to sit at the bar - not ideal but doable. The food was great and the service lovely. Great gumbo and red fish !

    I was in Baton Rouge for one night, and all I wanted was some good Crawfish Etouffee. Well, I sure got it! Absolutely delicious! Spicy and rich, but not over-seasoned, and packed full of tender crawfish. The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese was superb. Service was well-timed and friendly. I had a reservation and was glad I did; they were totally booked up on Saturday night. Highly recommend!

    The restaurant had a romantic setting, service was decent. My wife has the grouper She said she enjoyed it. I had the shrimp and grits, and I did not like it at all. The shrimp were not bad, but the sauce tasted burnt and old. The drinks were good I really enjoyed that part of it, overall I’ll give it a three out of five.

    First time at this restaurant. We had eight adults and three children. We were there for Mother’s Day lunch. Everything from the skillet cornbread to the entrees and desserts were excellent. Great restaurant for a special occasion. Will definitely return!
