Cecelia Creole Bistro

First time trying Cecelia before a downtown concert. Pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious. My cocktail was great! Only complaint is that my crawfish etouffee, which tasted great, was not hot, only warm.

Great Food!! The cornbread was the best I have ever had.

We have steak, fish, and shrimp and all of them were spectacular.

Everything about this meal was delicious. We started with the Sweet and Spicy Gator appetizer and a High West Fig Old Fashioned. I had the redfish special and my husband had the filet. The chocolate mousse for dessert was a great finish to a fabulous meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The cocktails were excellent and the food was wonderful. The "LOFT" above the restaurant was excessively loud. So much so that we had to talk loud to be heard by each other. However the food was so good that we will go back in the near future.

Absolutely Wonderful!! In an area known for great food, this has to be one of the best! . We’ve been several time and it never disappoints . Don’t miss the Maple Bourbon Cornbread appetizer... , and the entrees are unbelievable. Super nice staff, highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new favorite eatery.

A quality experience with excellent service and a quite pleasing menu. The free bread pudding for it being our anniversary . . . stole the show!

Small but good setting with friendly wait staff and good food.

First time dining and we had 6 people eating for the spanish town ball. We all enjoyed the food and the place us beautiful! I will be back!

Quite Hole in the wall. Romantic food was outstanding. The Corn bread appetizer was out this world. Service was amazing. I had the Redfish Cecilia. Hubby had The Pork chop.

Went before a concert. The restaurant is well appointed and a big improvement over the place operating there before. Good drink selection and they were well done. Food was quick and delicious. Service was good and reasonably attentive though our waiter didn’t bring the skillet cornbread (which is a must have) until very late in the entree. The crab cake is enough for a meal and the alligator was excellent. The redfish Cecelia was a delight.

Maybe it was just my pork chops special Wednesday night but it was tough, very hard to cut into and not to my taste. Our waitress was so busy that I wasn’t able to catch her and I put at least 75% of it to go and gave it to my dog. I don’t know what went wrong because of eaten at cc you before but I’m not positive I will try a special again

Great experience overall. The grilled redfish was outstanding.

I sat at the bar. The food was absolutely amazing. I got the special which was blackened red fish on top of sweet & spicy brussel sprouts on top of grits with BBQ shrimp and sauce on everything. I was blown away by how good it was.

Beautiful, quaint restaurant. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Baton Rouge for the Louisiana Marathon and wanted to enjoy a nice dinner.
Cecilia ‘s was definitely the place!

We dined early so it was not crowded when we arrived.
Service was excellent !

We shared the wedge salad which was plenty and delicious!
We also shared a delicious redfish entree .

We ordered the cornbread appetizer for desert , and it was so good!!

Outstanding meal from beginning to end. I had the flounder and my wife had redfish. Excellent service: a great experience.

I took an out of town job canddiate to dinner at Cecelia on the night of the national championship game. We wanted a quiet place where we could talk and most importantly I wanted him to experience creole cuisine. Cecelia was excellent (and the tigers won!). Service was perfect and the food was excellent. I ordered the flounder meuniere and it was delicious. I look forward to my next visit.

This place is a gem! We had early reservations, so it wasn’t crowded when we were seated. Our server (Lauren) was so gracious and knowledgeable and made great recommendations based on our questions. We had the crab cake, that fabulous cornbread, and the flounder. It was all to perfection. I highly recommend!

Amazing food and great service in spite of the fact that they had a huge 60th birthday party group and another party of 10! Looking forward to our next visit!

Cecelia Creole Bistro was a very nice dinning experience. The appetizer(fried green tomatoes) and the Red Fish special were both extremely tasty.

The only issue I had was we were never offered desert, maybe that is bc they do not offer it. I just found it a bit odd that was not done after our meal. Also, the check was brought out prior to asking if we would like anything else. We ended up ordering some additional drinks.

It was still a very good evening and most likely will return.

This place is a gem. I wish I could find more like it in Baton Rouge. Go! You will not be disappointed.

Worth going downtown just for that.

Wonderful service and food!

We were entertaining out of town guests, and one of the guest is a chef, so we knew we needed to eat where the food and ambience are ALWAYS excellent! All 5 enjoyed everything about Cecelias!

First time and was very pleased. My wife and I were very pleased with our meal (Gumbo it fantastic!). Service was phenomenal. Definitely will be back.

A regular stop for my husband and me. Never disappoints. Also easy to recommend to visitors to our office as they can walk here at lunch or dinner

Food was delish!

If you enjoy food, good wine and excellent service, you must stop at Cecelia’s. The food was outstanding, interesting flavors, beautiful presentation. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and met our every need without being overbearing. What a great find! Cute little bistro with a lovely ambiance. Waiters were extremely attentive and knowledgeable. They made elevated our meal to an experience. The pan Seared Crab Cakes were amazing, the Sensation Salad a surprising melody of flavors, Red Fish Cecelia grilled to praise the best of palates, braised Short Ribs to die for. Everything is extremely fresh and their spirits selection is very comprehensive. Couldn’t be more pleased!

Had a very nice meal! Travelling for work, and ate alone at the bar. Very comfortable experience, with friendly staff.

Went here for dinner to celebrate my mom’s birthday and it did not disappoint. Our server Evan was so courteous and knowledgeable. the cornbread was to die for. We will definitely be back!
