Wonderful service and the food was delicious. Had a great time with my wife and will definitely come back for more!
Food was subpar at best for the price. Service was lacking did not check on us at all. Food came out cold and had not flavor. Was very disappointed.
The service was good but the food was not there with flavor. Our bisque was super watered down and our short ribs pasta was super bland. We were celebrating our 6 year anniversary and we were a bit disappointed. Not impressed specially after wanting to try cattle and claw for so long. Lastly, we couldn’t even get the dessert we wanted because it had run out very disappointing.
Great place for a double date with friends. Comfortable, not too loud and good drinks. Close to Largo for a preshow dinner. Food is good not great.
nice place, great service, food was good but not outstanding.
The most disappointing food I can remember in my dining experience. The Lobster bisque was thin and devoid of Lobster. Why not service hot water? The Lobster pizza was without any sense that a lobster was anything but held over it a some point. And fair time for the Short rib pasta dish, it's sauce was a thin soup. I left most of every dish. The wait staff are kind and deserve to work for a much better establishment. I understand food and love to cook. I would never service or EAT this level of cooking. You must know this. If not just try the dishes that I did. I promise you too will be disappointed.
Food was all forgettable. Nothing hit the mark. Usually there’s some savior but not last night.
The food was good but the service was pretty awful. We were one of three parties and it took the server a good 20 min before he acknowledged us. It took another 20 min before we got our drinks. The place was empty too so it’s not like they were slammed. I won’t go back.
Enjoyed out DineLA lunch. It's value was well over the price we paid, not some cheapo meal like some of the DineLA selections. I would go again.
This is by far the worst Xmas meal ever.
I booked a table at 7 and arrived at 6.55 pm and was told that table is not available? By the time I sat down it was already 7.15 to 7.20 pm.
Secondly, the food was so bad. Can you imagine having your prime ribs cold? Majority of the foods were overcooked.
This is so bad and you need to pay for USD65 ++ with absolutely no value.
I left in an hour feeling upset
Went for Christmas buffet ...wouldn't go back.
We were there for the Christmas dinner buffet. The food was good, but not amazing. Desserts were mediocre. Service was pleasant, but virtually non-existent. No one checked out table for 30+ minutes at a time. They weren’t even patticularly busy. We wouldn’t go back or recommend it.
Not enough claw in the buffet menu and food and desserts were average in taste
Not worth $65 per plate
Ambiance and service great though
We had Christmas lunch buffet. Food was good but nothing spectacular. Service was appropriately attentive.
Lovely restaurant inside of an upscale hotel in a great area. Able to sit on the patio with a heat lamp and was perfect temperature. Food was excellent and we chose a number of different lobster combinations which is presented in an elegant manner. Ambiance was very romantic, tables are not close together, and plants are plentiful so you feel as if you are dining in a garden. Our waitress was exceptional, explained all the dishes, and kept returning when we needed assistance. There is a separate bar area which also has its own small bite menu, but available in the main dining area. I would highly advise this lovely restaurant for a quiet, romantic dinner.
Absolutely delicious! We went for the cattle and claw #2, 2 burgers, 2 lobster rolls, 2 half lobsters, 2 fries and two salads! The lobster was cooked I perfection and the tarragon sauce that came with it was divine! We substituted the fries for truffle fries and would recommend those! Burger was juicy! No complaints! We will be back!
Great food and great service! Try the lobster pizza!
Great service! Good food!
The ambiance is amazing! The service was great and the good was FANTASTIC! Definitely a favorite.
Very fine dining experience. Mellow atmosphere, friendly staff, nice selection of food. I would return for a future Thanksgiving. Not quite home made but solid fare. Desserts ruled, too. I thought it was pretty good value for the money.
The food was cold , gravy sitting in a bowl no heat under it , doors were all open to outside & food was cold had to eat fast , but lovely room good desserts & friendly great service
the short rib pappardelle was tasteless, bland, and the noodles were unevenly cooked and knotted together.
Avoid that dish.
The menu was much more limited than I had anticipated: hamburgers or lobster. It did seem a bit odd. The hamburger was very good, though!
The food wasnt the greatest! Food was really bland. It was really empty as well. Especially for such a beautiful Sunday
I went for my brother's birthday as he wanted surf and turf and we wanted to try something new. The restaurant is inside the Sofitel Hotel. He did in fact order the Cattle and Claw Bone In with Whole Lobster. I ordered the Bone in and he shared some of his Lobster with me. Everything was delish, including our salads and cheesecake for dessert. Steaks were ginormous, but super flavorful and cooked just as we ordered. Lobster was sweet and succulent. The vibe was pretty quiet as there wasn't a big crowd when we arrived at around 6:45 pm. Service was excellent. We both left with food for the next day. Seems like the hostess may have sat us without picking up we had a reservation. Will be back to try some of the other items on the menu (e.g. Lobster Roll and Bisque)
Very nice French-flavored atmosphere, cosy outside dining and a very nice and attentive waiter.....Food was excellent, we had lobster bisque and lobster as main dish....
Awesome everything. I mean, lobster and a burger?? Come on!
Service was great! Ambiance was wonderful! Food was meh! Not a great deal of flavor but edible. I give a 4.5 because of everything else.
They only have two things on the menu - Burgers and Lobsters in various incarnations and combinations. Everything we had was super delicious and it was all reasonably priced (I would go as far to say inexpensive). My only complaint is that they uncharge for everything - sauces, cheese, etc. But the meal, with booze and dessert only came out to $50 per person
Great Mojitos! Good food! The atmosphere was great!
Steer clear of the brunch menu. The items on the regular menu looked good as they passed by on their way to tables, but the brunch menu was a big disappointment.
Lobster roll and truffle fries are a killer combination! Such a pretty patio and vibes. Super friendly staff as well!
The food was just okay. Not bad, but not good. Service was wonderful and ambiance on the lovely patio was great. I had the lobster salad that had no flavor and the other person in my party had a lobster roll that he wasn't crazy about.
The cattle and claw was great! My friends loved their burgers and fries, the lobster was a bit over done and tasteless, the sauce was amazing for it though! The salad was also very good and the cocktails are on point. If I came back I might try a lobster roll instead. The outdoor patio is absolutely lovely I’d love to come back for brunch!
Great concept, just not executed well! Patio is beautiful but needs more refurbishment. Food wasn’t anything special.
My mother’s birthday! We enjoyed our experience very much! At first we were seated outside but it was too hot so we asked to sit inside. The manager dropped by twice to ask how we were doing and even offered to take a beautiful pic of us outside in their garden.
The food was unremarkable. Filling yet refreshing and light at the same time. Loved the lobster tacos and lobster roll from their dinela menu!
Loved this place! Went during dineLA — their lunch menu was the perfect size. Lobster roll is amazing, lobster tacos were INCREDIBLE, and the burger was very good. Such a cute, picturesque, quaint location — felt like eating in a garden!
We had a great time. Our seats were perfect. Couldn't be happier.
$9 for a SLIDER with cheese is just plain ridiculous. i told the waiter it was being shared between two people...he didnt feel the need to just advise us of getting a regular sized burger for $3 more? instead of ill-advising people in our party to not get the salad for dinela’s first course and instead eat very dry lobster beigets that mostly went uneaten. wouldve also been nice if he informed us of the $2 per sauce fee when he not only suggested one, but two sauces for our fries! on top of that, he had the nerve to imply that ordering one family size order of fries werent enough for 5 of us. did not enjoy this experience, none of us will be back.
