Ahi Tuna Tacos
it was an amazing place to spend my birthday, i will definitely be coming back. and my waitress was amazing!!
The mac and cheese bits are so very yummy. Would go back just for those.
Mixed drink was not the best. All the TV's and the over head music made it hard to have a conversation.
The fillet was a bit chewy, and a bit gristly. The salmon fillet was excellent, as was the mashed potatoes, and twice baked potato. The fried green tomatoes were excellent! As was the bloody Mary. Overall a good experience
We found the vibe to be more sports bar than expected from online photos. Our server took good care of us.
Great food. Our new favorite place to eat. Can't wait to go back.
Great food and service! Highly recommend! Fried Green Tomatoes are my favorite:)
Portions skimpy. Meat well done, not medium as ordered. Soup and salad brought out with meal, which is never done as both come before the meal unless otherwise requested.
The non high top side made no sense. An entire booth removed and a bunch of baby high chairs just stacked there. Looked like a mess and destroys any potential ambience.
By all appearances and portions, this place is having issues
Excellent food for the price. Would definitely dine there again.
Food was decent, somewhat underwhelming. Cocktails were good but not on the level of some other local restaurants. Beer selection was very good. Service was attentive but food timing was odd, apps came out and entrees were 5 minutes later. Whole evening seemed rushed even though they weren’t full. No offer for more drinks or even desert before they were ready to check up out. Even this process was odd, server brings over bill on a handheld device then stood there while it was filled out with tip. Owner talked with some friends at an adjacent table but never even looked our way. I had reservations since they were suggested, hostess greeted us and then pointed to the back and said your table is ready back there. We stood there awkwardly for a while and then realized she wasn’t going to walk us back, not sure why? Overall nothing awful, just expected more for $185.
We had a great experience at Cast Plates and Pints. Their Thanksgiving buffet was delicious! There was so much to choose from and everything we tried was good. Our server was attentive and helpful
Thanksgiving buffet was great. My husband really enjoyed it. I did too but, for me, it was a bit too cajun for me as I am not a spice person.
We were visiting our daughter in Roanoke and decided a week before our arrival to reserve for Thanksgiving Dinner. Absolutely the best food ever. Their spread was amazing, homemade and we left full to the top. Can’t wait to try their regular menu next time we are in town.
The food and service were great. We will definitely be back, just not on a holiday.
We were there for the Thanksgiving Buffet and were very cramped with 6 people at the table. It was difficult getting out of our seats as there wasn't very much space between us and the next table. The noise level was very high due to all the chairs scraping against the concrete floors, maybe some felt pads on the bottom of the legs would help.
Great Thanksgiving buffet! We loved everything. Ton of food and everything was excellent.
The filet was perfect. Ordered med and is was. Went around 4. Plan to return in evening! Also my gfs flatbread was amazing
Always pleased when we go to Cast! Would highly recommend.
Wide variety and solid food.
First time for brunch! Great menu selection, great drink specials. Laid back atmosphere, lots of TVs in bar area for all your sports watching.
It was their 1 year anniversary. Very proud of them for making it through a pandemic and getting voted for best restaurant. Will continue supporting them and pray for a very long and prosperous business.
We both got the Filet entree and the quality of beef was really high. It is a bit pricey but there are other options on the menu that are cheaper. I’m definitely interested in going for Brunch!
Very good spot to hang out. Service was excellent, young lady worked really hard. Was a little loud being in the bar area with live music performances but we played pool and socialized anyway. Was my first time here but will definitely be back. Overall a nice place.
Had the chicken pasta. Very small portion for the price three small pieces of semi tough chicken maybe weighing not quit 6 oz and perhaps a cup and 1/2 of pasta.
Wife had the southern coleslaw with her burger. Not very good, too many carrots
Note tiny portions are sign of a restaurant having issues
We love this place! Great nosh, great drinks. Something yummy for the kids too!
This was my second visit and the rest of the parties first time. The service was slow. Part of our party arrived early, gave the hostess the reservation name and were seated on the bar side. We arrived and gave the hostess the reservation name and were seated on the opposite side. It was several minutes before we realized we were not seated together. Once we moved ourselves to the bar side, I did not want to sit at a high top but since the early arrivals already had drinks, we moved. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for a server to ask if we wanted to order some food. The menu has a nice variety of selections; however, the consensus was that some of the food (burgers and fries, and shrimp and grits) was okay, nothing special. The person who ordered the pulled pork sandwich enjoyed her meal. My mojito was very good. We may be back if the hostess and wait staff can get their act together.
Stopped in while on vacation and passing through the area. The server was very attentive, the food came out quick, and everything was very reasonably priced. Would definitely eat here again if we are in the area.
We had a great time ! The food was fantastic! Drink specials were really great! Will be back!
Nice relaxing evening with good food and services.
We have visited Cast twice within the last month, and the entire family loves it! My 9 year old son told us it "was not good, it was amazing." We took my picky father-in-law (who is hard to please) our second visit and he was also impressed.
Good choices in food and drinks. Nice change in the atmosphere.
Food was phenomenal. Our waiter was not particularly great. He was very forgetful and awkward. He may have been new and just nervous. Definitely not a reason for us to not come back because it is very delicious!
Food was fantastic as usual, as well as the service. Friendly staff that will give you honest feedback on choices. Always a good time.
This was our first time dining at Cast. We enjoyed the food. The open sports bar feel with the high top tables was nice. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. We will return.
The food was not bad, the service was not bad and the atmosphere was not bad.... It just was not good. Like the stoner kid in 8th grade, he got straight c's, no one really noticed him, but he didn't get in trouble and he wasn't accoladed for anything. He just existed. This is that restaurant. Just existing unremarkably in a brick strip mall. That same stoner kid is most likely a shift leader at this establishment. It's the only thing that makes sense.
We had excellent service and the carb cake sandwich and salmon entre was excellent
Great food. Met a friend for dinner, when we made our plans, we weren't sure, because she was waiting for results of a biopsy, happy to say, the results were negative, and our dinner was fabulous!!
I thought the food was outstanding. The table next to us was so loud I couldn't hear myself. I felt like I was at a frat party. Unfortunately, that put a damper on the experience. I will try it again.
The food was great, every on enjoyed their dinner the fried green tomatoes were excellent the manager was actually our waiter and he was great!
They are struggling with identity. Bar service and atmosphere while trying to pull off a more upscale menu. Staff training should be their major focus. Servers should not serve if they do t know what they are doing. They are the face of your biz. No matter how good the food is the server leaves a first impression with your clientele.
