I got the fish tacos and they were excellent. I find this restaurant to be really nice, food good but a bit pricey.
Visited September 18, 2018
I had not eaten collard greens since my father passed in 2012 as I only eat his collards. My wife ordered the collard greens and OMG they were Dee-Lucious!!!!
Great taste, spectacular presentation. The jasmine rice was a twist I’d never seen and the smoked bacon ... YES! Oh the burger & tacos were pretty good as well.
I will be returning for the collard greens if nothing else. They are cooked to order and well worth the wait.
Enjoyed a nice dinner and good service. I thought they had live music on Fridays but did not.
First time here and we can't wait to plan another night!
It was a great dinner out! The only thing I would add to make it perfect is a dance floor or near by club.
Was a great experience from start to finish. I had my two boys with me, they got fish n chips and chicken strips. Portions were more than they can finish and were not overly breaded. My meal included a steak with purple mashed potatoes.
The location was clean, and staff were polite and on point.
Great restaurant for a girl's night out. Good selection of drinks, with a nice variety of appetizers and entrees to choose from.
Had a late dinner date on a Saturday night. Ordered a few small plates which were delicious! Our waiter, Conner, was fantastic and patient with us as we stayed until closing! Was honored to meet the owner/chef, Kasey, at the end of the evening. Delightful experience all around and glad to have this fun place in the neighborhood!!
The waitress was very nice and accommodating. The food was not good at all. I got such an upset stomach from the “Mac and cheese” appetizer that I had to pack my entree to take home. I got the salmon which wasn’t bad but the quinoa and mushrooms that came with it were SOOOO salty that I had to throw it out. The kale chips were extremely greasy. So basically I paid $30 for a piece on salmon, considering that was the only part of my entree I could eat. I had high hopes for this place and ended up extremely disappointed.
You will not be disappointed. Good food, good service
I have been looking forward to dining with Casey's Craft Kitchen because of all the good things I have heard, and with relatives in town I thought this would be the ideal place. Unfortunately, my party of 5 waited 45 minutes, 3 different waiters periodically stopped by the table, each one not knowing what the other was doing, provided nothing more than drinks and water. This was early, before the dinner rush and the restaurant was not busy. We decided to leave, which got the attention and apology of our waiter, but it was too late. Poor customer service!
Had a llittle rough start, but the manager handled it well, and we all had a great time. Good music.
Awesome meal and service. Cameron waited on us and gave us great lessons how to enjoy our dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!
Second time visit to my now favorite restaurant. Large portions executed by a real chef. The chef was kind enough to stop by our table and ask our opinion on our experience. Be prepared for an authentic chef involved experience.
Interesting and tasty food, great wine list and nice ambience. Not too far away from us and much better than our neighborhood places. Will definitely go again.
Great food. Live Music is nice BUT it's a small restaurant and hard to have a conversation as the music was so loud. I would think it would be better to start the live music after maybe 9p.
Drove by so many times...First time and we fell in love! Food is amazingly orchestrated, service is friendly and attentive and drinks (our first time trying craft cocktails) blew us away! Can’t wait to go back and try something new! BTW the bread pudding is the best we ever had!!
Better than we expected and we will be back soon!!
The craft cocktails were AMAZING and I highly recommend all of them! If you are a whiskey fan, you have to try the Cin Fashion and if you like a sweeter drink, the Blackberry Love. My friend and I shared the charcuterie combo plate and the Mediterranean Trio with the house-made pickled veggies -- SO GOOD! Everything was wonderful and our server, Connor, was on-point! If you have not tried Casey's, what are you waiting for??
Back after a few months. Thai-Kale salad was superb as well as the multi-cheese sandwich and wine recommendations!
The food took 70 minutes to come out to the table.
If you come here for the food, You are at the wrong place. The $18 burger did not worth it, The Asian Hot Pots are insulting to Asian people, It's just a over priced of $25 salty noodle soup with almost nothing in it but some noodles with tiny shrimps or meat, Another entree: Salmon with very oily kale and very salty ??? Also the dishes and pots damaged with chips! Really? This is not a hole in the wall, It is a place charge 20 plus to 30 plus for a entree. Over all: The best thing about this father's day dinner is the service, She was great!
Great Food and Service!!
This was our first time at Casey’s and we came away very satisfied and happy! We had mussels, fried calamari and the brussels sprouts. The Pomodoro sauce on the mussels was excellent and along with a side order of bread was almost a meal in itself. The fried squid was a generous portion and very tasty with a sweet spicy chili sauce. The Brussels sprouts With polenta were outstanding, and we ordered them on the recommendation of the manager of the restaurant, Lonnie, who was very friendly and overall added to our dining experience, my only complaint was that the music was too loud but I think we might’ve been seated right below a speaker. We both had craft cocktails, and they were also outstanding! I had a BlackBerry love which was not sweet and was absolutely delicious. The only reason that five stars were not given is we like to come back to a place a second time to make sure they are consistent before we give five stars, otherwise it was great!
The best lobster roll I have ever eaten ! I will be back
I reserved a table for my mom's birthday on a Saturday evening and everything was great! We ordered a bunch of shareable items and everything was tasty and fun! I was very pleased with the quality and selection of food. We were a party of 7 and there was something for everyone's taste.
The cocktails were delicious and Kristian our server even brought a special birthday cocktail out for our mom. He was a real gem very professional and sweet. They have a great staff! Not all rude and aloof like a lot of these new restaurants opening in Tampa lately.
Our food came out quickly and our party happily munched and passed food around for everyone to try. They also had a great selection of craft beer for a reasonable price. The ambience was lively with great lighting and we dug the music that was playing. We will definitely be back even for a just a quick lunch (that lobster roll won't leave my brain alone I need another one). Thank you Casey's for making our mom's birthday special she had a blast!
Had a great time celebrating my mother’s birthday. Our server “K-Rod” was awesome. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere was great!
Food was fine, but the drink service was awful. Cocktails took a long time, and then not delivered together. Ordered wine after appetizers and didn’t get it until we were done with our entrees. Bartenders seemed more interested in chatting with customers than making drinks.
I should say this was our third visit but it has been months since the last. No fault of Casey’s CBK, time and life happened. We visited on a Saturday evening and were seated on arrival with no waiting. We went knowing craft cocktails are a specialty and are worth a visit on their own. I ordered a Black Manhattan and my wife had a blackberry cocktail from the menu. Both were good drinks and mixed with care. As a comparison, we visit NYC on a regular basis and frequent many of the cocktail bars there, Death & Co., Raines, Bathtub Gin, PDT, and others, and Casey’s team matches those place in terms of quality. I noticed they carry many but not all the odd mixers but chances are they’ll have something for you. We wanted simple food and I had the fish and chips and my wife the asian buns. Again, good food well prepared and served hot and in good time. We’ll be back and hopefully sooner than a few months interval. Good spot for Tampa and really good spot this far north, worth the drive.
Never disappointed with the food or the service. Great for anything from sliders to steak each with a twist from chef Casey that keeps you guessing. The smoke infused bourbons are an outstanding acvompaniment to any meal.
A great meal and great atmosphere. Service is great and there are some really cool creative dishes and cocktails.
Great first experience! Took my mom for mother's day and she loved it!!! Great first experience!
Service was wonderful, atmosphere very comfortable. Ordered apps to share as our meal and everything was so tasty. Brussel sprouts I will be back for more.
We heard from friends about Casey's Craft Kitchen and decided to give it a try. Wow! We were blown away by the creativity of the menu and the flavors of our meals. Craft cocktails are made with fresh fruit and are unique and delicious. We had the Pork tenderloin, bone in Wagyu Pork chop , and Pasta Rataouille. Generous portions with amazing flavors. Service was very good and the Chef came by to get our opinions on our meals.
We now have a new favorite local restaurant.
We took two of our daughters to dinner for Cinco De Mayo - food was fun and interesting. Restaurant is very nice and relaxing. Service was just right and cocktails did not disappoint.
Casey's food is always delicious and the service is great!
I've been to this place probably 15 times and it is always great. The drinks are strong, the apps are great, the entrees are always excellent and it is just a great neighborhood hot-spot. It's nice to have this option 5 minutes from my house.
Our third visit to Casey's and (regrettably) a real disappointment, as we brought along friends as "first time" visitors to this Restaurant. Waiter was great, but service was VERY slow, music way too loud to have a reasonable conversation, prices were way too high in terms of overall value/portion size. And to top it off, one of our friends (after waiting almost an hour for our main courses to arrive) had to send her shrimp (& grits) back, as the shrimp just didn't taste right. While the waiter refunded the cost of her meal, we expected (but never received) a visit from the Chef OR at least the Manager to talk about the shrimp disappointment. Unlikely to return, which is a real shame for all of us, as it's such a convenient location.
Had dinner here Saturday night and absolutely fell in love! The staff was friendly... My server was knowledgeable & the food was on point!
The food and service were excellent. I would recommend the Tomahawk Ribeye and Charcuterie platter any day.
