   Mother’s Day brunch was not what we expected. When we made the reservation I called and asked if brunch would be happening on Mother’s Day, referring to their champaign brunch. I was told brunch is every Sunday. When we got to restaurant it was in a ballroom and a buffet style. Nothing like what was stated online a few weeks prior nor what was stated when I called. It felt like corporate breakfast, rather than a Mother’s Day celebration. Celebrating Mom’s should be more than scrambled eggs, limp bacon or a fruit plate. To top it off it was $95 a head with only one complimentary mimosa for Mom’s. Felt rushed, last minute and sad. Try out their actual brunch and double check for holidays that it is not a buffet.

   We hadn’t been to Pronghorn in over a year and our time there this past Friday was outstanding.

   The menu selection is very, very limited. In addition, there is no alternative for anything other than very rich food. The steaks are excellent, but if you're not in the mood for steak, your selection is minimal. There is no ordinary green salad. Something simple and plain would be welcome.

   It was so nice to go to a restaurant where employees were actually happy to see you. We had a great experience and I thought everything flowed really well the food was great and I would definitely go back

   My parents were in town visiting me and we chose Cascada for dinner at pronghorn resort. It was incredible! The food is amazing, the service is great and the location can’t be beat.
