The food was horrible and the selection was minimal. The only thing worth mentioning was the friendly staff. I would never go there again to eat.
Music was a nice treat!
Everything was great. The server was super nice and helpful.
The live music on the patio was a nice touch.
Amazing space for regaining balance and escape Thank you
A couple dishes were overcooked. It was a birthday dinner and despite telling the restaurant & waiter, no desert menu was even offered.
Great place. We sat outside for a view and even though it was smoky because of the fires, we still had trees and golf course to look at. The service was great. I felt the food was a bit overpriced for what you get. But still nice to go. The buildings are beautiful too!
Took 30 minutes for a server to come greet us. Food was good but way overpriced. Definitely NOT fine dinning.
Okay meal, okay service. Not quite what you’d expect at a nice resort.
Very nice outdoor seating. Very good burgers.
Wonderful breakfast items in the menu
Pronghorn resort was amazing. Dinner at Cascada left much to be desired... for such a luxury resort we expected dinner to be much better than it was. Otherwise, resort was amazing and we will definitely be back!
Expected something a lot nicer for such an expensive resort
The pronghorn burger was not a good piece of meat! Very disappointed. This is not “fine dining”
The staff is fantastic but the menu selections are a sport’s bar menu.
Bartender and servers are great.
Very understaffed and poor service. Food was ok, but not great.
Excellent service, food decent and a good value, other customers were not very cooperative with social distancing
Really poor menu. Is supposed to be fine dining. Is not! Staff great.
Food is poor
Horrible breakfast. Eggs cold. No salt or pepper until food was beyond cold. No butter or jam until breakfast over.
We stayed at Pronghorn for three nights and ate at Cascada 7 times (it was the only sit down restaurant open). Most every time, with the exception of 3, the staff was sub par. Whether it was getting the order incorrect or not being attentive. The food was good- only one time for breakfast was it way overdone. After bringing up that the order was wrong to the waitress and how the food turned out she said “Oh, so it was overdone, overdone, and under done.” When I said yes she just said sorry. No manager or comped meal. It was eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon and an English muffin🤨. They are way understaffed and shouldn’t be open yet until they are able to serve clients well.
Anniversary. Made reservations for dinner and was told only lunch available.
Great food nice outdoor seating, did a great job given the current situation, very pleasant and tasty.
This was our first night at the resort after a day of travel. The restaurant did a great job of separating the tables and still be able to enjoy the outdoor experience. I had the double pork chop special with risotto, the meat was flavorful and tender and the risotto was creamy and delicious. This was on of many we had there on out five night visit, all were good.
Great staff and beautiful restaurant.
Granted it was Covid, but we would have thought the service could have been better. We waited for everything. Drinks, order food. The drink I ordered from the cocktail menu could not be made because the bartender couldn’t find one of the main ingredients. Took 15 minutes to come and tell me this. I just expected more from a premier resort
Can't really comment as when we showed up for our 6:00 dinner reservation the restaurant was closed.
We had a party of 9 and to our surprise they put us in a cozy room for just our party with a firplace. Made our group dinner really special. We didn't have to worry about being too loud for other customers dining. Service was attentive and pleasant. Dinner was very flavorful, plating was good, and the combinations went well with each other. Would definitely go there again for a large group or even as a couple.
The service was non existent. Thanksgiving buffet was ok but we had no idea what we were supposed to do. Nobody to tell us the sequence, no pricing, very confusing on what children were priced at and ages of pricing. At the end the final bill was close to 1000 dollars!!!!!! This was not only incorrect but unreasonably priced even with the correction. In the end the tip was 22% and included right on the bill. This would be acceptable for a standard restaurant but an open buffet??? Not acceptable, the waiter brought some drinks for 1/3 of the table, then reluctantly brought coffee for 2 of us.
Overall we were disappointed with our Thanksgiving dinner at Pronghorn. The food was quite good, but we were very disappointed with our seating situation. It was absolutely freezing. I am very surprised they were seating people in the bar area where it was so cold. We kept our jackets on for most of our meal. Not at all the cozy setting we had expected. Very disappointed.
We were a bit disappointed in the overall Thanksgiving Dinner. The desserts were very disappointing.
We have been to the Mother's Day brunch twice and enjoyed it very much.
Good was great, but it was way over priced. We’ll try another option next year.
Yes not only is the grounds and resort beautiful. The serve on 10/19 at Casacada was amazing. She made my birthday dinner perfect. I can’t wait to come back and stay longer on the resort. So pretty!
We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 30th anniversary at Cascada. The food and service was top-notch.
Extremely disappointing. Restaurant was virtually empty (for good reason), only two other tables had patrons. Nobody to greet us upon arrival for our reservation. After 8-10 minutes we went into the kitchen to find someone (the manager who said they were busy with a tasting party of 16 in another room...really?). Finally seated, waitress addressed the table, ordered wine. 4 entree menu, not very creative, averaged about $40, so ok if the food/service is good. Ordered bread which is available upon request. Received 3 pieces with a warm butter/garlic served on a plate for our party of 3. Later requested another serving of bread which seemed to annoy the server, who was not busy as the restaurant was empty. The next 3 pieces arrived with frozen butter, not the warm butter/garlic. Starters were ok, prawns and scallops. Main courses were completely underwhelming. Wild boar tenderloins ordered medium arrived undercooked, almost raw, as was the wagyu beef which was also ordered medium, and the lamb shank (which granted is a difficult cut to cook correctly), was rather tough. The server remained robotic throughout the meal, never made the party feel welcomed. When we shared with her upon her clearing the table that the meat was under cooked, she was disinterested and didn't bother to fane empathy. No apology, no offer to make amends, the manager never made an appearance. She just asked us if we wanted coffee and desert. At this point it was clear Cascada was a bad choice, just another resort restaurant without the substance and know-how to present a dining experience. Almost funny how poorly managed it was from the kitchen to the dining room to the front desk. We found coffee and desert elsewhere in Bend. Bottom line - no need to patron Cascada.
It was amazing. High quality food and good friendly people!
Great food and service.
We had a beautiful dinner. The food was amazing. I had a prawn dish with mole and it was fabulous. I also had a special gazpacho with grilled avocado. Perfection. I look forward to returning to try their seasonal specialties. They were local and spot on.
Great food. Creative and well presented. It was a quiet night and the service reflected that.
Cocktails were average. Shared plates were mixed, Octopus was best. Pork was dry. Waygu was not representative of the cut. Bland. The Lamb was excellent. Salmon was very good.
Service was incomprehensible. Slow even though we were the only party in the restaurant. Struggled to explain preparation of dishes. When queried regarding wine, we indicated we would order with entree's. Never mentioned again by staff. Requested coffee with dessert, was not served. Deserts (Sorbet's) nice but not memorable
The location is pleasant and peaceful, we ate outside.
Whatever Pronghorn is, it is not a fine dining destination. So typical of organizations existing to sell real estate and now overnight lodging as well.
Go to Red Martini in Redmond for a much better meal.
There was a long wait time from the time we were seated until the time we were helped. We had a reservation. The food was nice, but the vegetables weren’t trimmed all the way, which was frustrating because it was a higher end establishment. The drinks were good. Overall, I don’t think we’ll return because competitors in the area have similar pricing, as well as food quality, but with larger portions.
This place has a beautiful setting, with excellent food and a great sommelier. It took over 5 minutes before we were greeted, even though we had a reservation and there was literally no one else in the restaurant or bar - 3 people walked by us, 2 even made eye contact, yet no one said a word until the hostess finally came out to greet us. Service staff needs to work on greeting customers, even if it’s not their job - good service is everyone’s job.
