We’ve always liked this restaurant and it’s latest renovation makes it a lot classier with wooden finish work and wood tables, open windows with better lighting. The menu is changing too and last night we had Trout! Delicious large plate which we shared.
I was there with my wife and a daughter. We have been to Casanova’s a number of times with different family members. The only thing that keeps away All Fives is the noise level. Both my wife and I have a hearing problem so though ‘energetic’ is was a bit hard to hear each other and the waitress.
I usually order the special ma
Always fabulous. Great fun service
Food was terrible, Noise level unbearable. Not intimate dining, more like a warehouse/cafeteria.
This restaurant has become a regular dining out for the family. Everyone is friendly and attentive and the food and drinks are excellent. Drinks are cold and the food is tasty, well portioned and served hot. The fresh bread is awesome to start off with.
Love the open atmosphere and friendly service. I would recommend it as a great place for dinner
This is a very good restaurant, with good food and good service. They have also managed to spread out the tables so that eating indoors, in the era of COVID, is reasonably safe.
Everyone was nice and fast. Food was delicious. Highly recommend this place.
Awesome! Newly renovated and staff was friendly.
We had two nice entrées, some Prosecco and a dessert. Very good.
Pasta Pescatore is to for. We will be back for more.
Great service, food and atmosphere! Will definitely be going back.
Amazing pastas. And their gluten free pasta and pizza options are home made. No dish is the same. Love the flavors of the sauces. Friendly servers who seem glad to have tourists like us returning to the island. We make a point to eat several meals there whenever we go to Maui. Bread is $3 but you get unlimited refills. So you’ll have no trouble getting plenty to eat no matter what you order. It’s in the “upcountry” and we go early to walk the cute town and just cruise the surrounding areas which we find interesting as well
The fresh and hot bread is outstanding to start the meal. Salads are fresh and plentiful. All our drinks were cold and the pasta dishes were hot, fresh and delicious. We dine here regularly, the entire staff are friendly and attentive.
Love the new brunch menu. All of the Benedict’s are outstanding. Great wait staff.
We had appetizers and cocktails. They both were delicious! Our server was pleasant, but not too informative with the menu to us as she was with the surrounding tables. We sat in the rear of the restaurant where we could see all the flowers through the window which was beautiful!
Our Up Coumtry Go To for Italian dinner. From the fresh made hot bread to our dinner salads, cold drinks and the main dishes, everything is delicious and served on full plates. The entire staff here is very friendly and attentive.
We had heard that the restaurant's food under new ownership was not up to par. We tried brunch and it was excellent. They allowed us to have main coarse pasta off the menu as well. We will definitely return.
Food was very tasty and service was great
We decided to sit at the Bar. Bar server is so friendly and attentive. The bread is delicious, made and served hot from the pizza oven. Tonight’s special of breaded lamb chops with scalloped potatoes and fresh veggies was excellent. The Caesar salad with fresh grilled fish was excellent also. The beer is always cold here. Love this
The hostess was friendly and efficient, the staff was knowledgeable and quick, friendly with a sense of humor. Our food was delicious but the margarita was subpar, order a martini.
The Lamp chops and vegetables were cooked to perfection! I love the new version of Casanovas> Even during COVID the restaurant feels lively while serving top notch food with great service. Mahalo
It was amazing! Really fast service and very attentive to all our needs. The food is just incredible, it's all home made and the ingredients are fresh fresh.
I love it!
Our Italian restaurant in Up Country. Friendly and attentive staff, excellent variety menu and great portions. Drinks are cold too.
Our waitress was FANTASTIC! She set the tone and made our time really special! I wish I could tell you her name, but the bill receipt didn't tell us.(5pm 1/9/20 reservation and we sat by the garden window) Also the food was the best!
This visit was for my birthday and the first time we had been to this restaurant. It’s was okay, not really what I excepted for the $200 we spent. We were seated in the back, it was very loud. I had a glass of wine, my husband a whiskey. Our entrees were the filet minion, sides were nothing special about half a serving of some thick cut roasted potatoes and it looked like some heated from frozen vegetable medley. My husbands dish was the seared ahi with the same vegetables that appeared to be frozen before. My son had the kids spaghetti - which the noodles were way over cooked and the sauce looked like it was out of can. For dessert we had the tiramisu and creme brûlée, again nothing special about these. Just cut and plated like you would have at home from a store bought item. Probably won’t be going there again, unfortunately.
Fantastic food, great service; the only downside is the lack of ambiance, but that's only because of the seemingly cavernous distancing due to Covid. Highly recommend this restaurant!
We dine here regularly... Casanova does not disappoint.
Great remodel! Food is still a little inconsistent and you never quite know when they are open and how long they will stay open. Feel rushed during Brunch/Lunch service. The wait staff is friendly and attentive.
Didnt realize Sundays were brunch only. The lunch menu was listed on the web site
and thought that would be available also. It was not. We had pancakes, french toast, and scrambled eggs. It was all good.
The beer is cold, the food is served fresh and hot. Portions are excellent. Server is friendly and attentitive.
Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Keri was a great server!
We are Eggs Benedict lovers. We visit all restaurants who serve them. This is the first time in a very long time we visit this location. I would say over 20 years, since they open only at night, but now that you are serving breakfast on weekends we might visit again.
I would like to say this was THE BEST eggs bene we ever had on Maui. Eggs were perfect, the presentation was superb, taste was spectacular. Our server and others who helped us were super polite and well trained. I was very impressed. Managing restaurants for many many years, I have to congratulate your team. Our server came just at the right time to offer me another bloody mary. Overall you received a 10. Thank you.
Just wanted a quaint brunch with my daughter and it was perfect. Not too busy but I hope that changes soon because I love it there. Such a lovely historic spot and I don’t want to see it gone. Everyone should go there for weekend brunch
In fortunately the Eggplant Parmesan was removed from the new menu. The food cane out sporadically. One dish 15 minutes before the test of us hot ours. The lasagne was in a casserole dish and it was soupy and mushy. Not in layers as expected. They were gracious enough to replace it either spaghetti and meatballs. The lights on the Piero paintings were little spotlights instead of well lit. The bathrooms are much improved with granite countertops as is the hostess station.
The restaurant was very understaffed. The food here is amazing and I love going after a day of upcountry hiking but the experience this time really missed the mark. Our server(or servers..? I don’t know who ours was because it was so busy they were trying to help each other out but in the end no one was actually taking care of us.) we didn’t get acknowledged after getting sat for close to 10 minutes, and then it took a long time to put an order in. One of our items never came out even though we asked three seperate times if someone could check on it and we kept getting told it was next up on its way. then when the bill was dropped the item was still on it and we had to go through the obstacle of trying to get someone’s attention to get it taken off. There wasn’t even an apology, just an excuse. It was disappointing. The food is soooo good!! The staff were doing their best but they literally cannot be in that many places multitasking that many tasks. It was poor service. management needs to sort their stuff out and get more people on the floor.
This place is a no brainer for almost any occasion.
Our Up country Go To for Italian dinner. Chris, our server is very attentive and friendly. He kept us hydrated thru out and
Our meal orders were served hot and fresh.
Will definitely ask for Chris again.
