Benvenuti! Casa Santo Stefano is a Sicilian restaurant from the Gonzmart family, owners of the 1905 Family Of Restaurants. The lunch and dinner menus feature maccheroni (pasta), steaks, seafood, scacciata, salads, soups, desserts and hundreds of Sicilian wines. Curbside takeout is available by calling the main phone number. The rooftop Santo's Drinkeria also is open.

Housed in a beautifully re-imagined former 1925 Ybor City macaroni factory, the restaurant is a look back to Sunday suppers, simpler times and shared stories.

Dress code: Casa Santo Stefano often is visited for celebrations and special occasion meals, so it is common for our guests to sport formal wear in the dining room. We welcome everyone, but politely ask that men wear sleeves at Casa Santo Stefano.

We totally in joyed our evening. Starting with the bar area. Then with our server Mattie who was delightful. She was very friendly and did rush us to order our meals while we are eating our appetizers. The total experience was phenomenal.

We have been here before while on vacation in Tampa and it was a good experience. This time wasn’t quite as good. It was pretty busy since it was me a weekend so we expected some delays hit to wait 20 minutes just to get water was too much. Our waiter was seemed lovely and like she was trying. She may have been new but she seemed overwhelmed. She didn’t know the wine menu when we asked questions. My gnocchi dish was good but so salty I couldn’t finish it. Everything just took so long to get, water, bread, we would not see our waiter for long periods. At one point I asked a bus boy to please bring me some Parmesan cheese and I appreciated his willingness to help. We know our waiter was trying hard so we tried to be understanding. She just needs more time to get the hang of it. But the lack of efficient service might make me reconsider where to dorm st during our next trip here. I would definitely avoid on a weekend.

Great dinner with long time friends. 2 out of 3 of us are Italian, and the red sauce with meatballs, pork, sausage and hard boiled egg was just like our nonnas used to make. Mateo our service was a pleasant and attentive as possible. Looking forward to the return of the squid ink pasta!

Food is spectacular. Service is inconsistent. We've been a few times and most recently, service was not great. Waters empty, had to ask for refills multiple times, didn't get asked if we wanted parm with pasta, wine went without an ask if we wanted another glass until too late into our meal, etc. Also, the floors are incredibly slippery and dangerous. Even trying my best to step carefully, I still slipped and fell.
