New favorite Italian restaurant in Tampa. Awesome place.
We love Casa Santo Stefano. Every time we have dined there we have had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Mateo, was exceptional. He provided wonderful service and was extremely helpful and charming. The food is delicious and menu has a large variety of selection. The portions are very generous. Some of our favorite selections are the stuffed artichoke, calamari, ravioli and the many pastas at they offer. We highly recommend Casa Santo Stefano for an enjoyable dining experience
2nd time there and 2nd time they messed up the special occasion we were celebrating. Didnt have what was requested at the table both times. Service was slow. Food makes up for the lack of attention to what you request at time of reservation. They did, both times, provide what was requested after I asked.
Wonderful atmosphere, food and service!
Excellent food,service and cleanliness.
The menu choices were so much better than the normal fare offered at other Italian restaurants. Even though we live near Orlando, we look forward to coming back again soon.
Waited 30 mins after our reservation time (not awful but still). Service was slow and food not as good as it should be (considering the other restaurants in this “family”).
Everything we ate was excellent but 2 of the 4 appetizers our table ordered never were served
Food was great and our server Mateo was the best. My 3rd time there will keep going.
Highly recommend this great new addition to the Columbia Restaurant Group. They've done it again. Rich in tradition with the Sicilian theme, the ambiance is fresh, bright, open and warm. The food is wonderful...flavors I haven't had before...many with a Tampa twist.
You haven't had this red sauce before! The waiter was knowledgeable and very helpful when I hit an ingredient I didn't know. And don't forget the deserts. You will be as happily surprised as I was.
As always, a stellar experience. Cynthia was perfect in her availability and response.
Went for a birthday dinner and was blown away by the quality of food and service! I got the swordfish entree which was over-the-top delicious. The only downside was the very bland potato spears the fish was served with. This was easily remedied by my two (again, delicious) Manhattans. My boyfriend had the Nana Maria pasta and finished off his meal with the espresso martini. He said both were home runs! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality meal without the pretentious feel.
We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our anniversary there. We’ll definitely be back again.
Ugh. I keep trying this place but it was my last time. Food was slightly below average (aside from the bread), service was SO slow - put in an app right away and it took forever, and $95 later I’m mad at myself for giving them another chance. Also, there were a couple flies circling the whole time (indoor). So disappointed with the restaurant as a whole and me for going again.
Always a wonderful experience at Santo Stefano. Service is always on point with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Phone was amazing as always
We liked the restaurant. They need to work on their timing. We waited over 45 minutes for our table. Some of our pasta dishes missed ingredients such as Eggplant and Lobster.
Tonight we tried a few new dishes. One new to us and one new menu item. The spaghetti Al Nero Con Polpo (Black ink pasta with Octopus) was outstanding. Thank you to Mateo for sending over for us to try. The Linguine Frutti Di Mar is a great new addition to the menu as is the Broccoli Rabe.
We cannot say enough about the management and staff at Casa
Fun vibe and tasty food but watch when you bite: my husband's veggies had a metal screw in them! Best we can guess is maybe it fell from an overhead exhaust vent in the kitchen. Thankfully he felt it in his mouth before he chomped down. Manager was apologetic and covered the cost of the meal. This will certainly be the topic of discussion at our table if/when we ever return. This is a lovely place to take out-of-town visitors.
Good food and nice people
Food was excellent and want to try an entree. We just did an appetizer and salad. Service was a lot to de desired! It was horrible!!
Everything we had was amazing. I would recommend!
Fabulous dinner! Everything was delicious and our server was excellent! We’ll be back soon!
Service was excellent! Chicken Marsala and squid ink pasta were a hit at our table
Go! Ask for Logen to be your server! Excellent service, food, drink & scene!
Lasagna was delicious and the meatballs are a must for an appetizer.
Friends getting together catching up !
Second time in, for lunch this time. Great for business lunches. I'll be back.
Love squid ink pasta and dish was exceptional with exception of pasta itself - a bit over cooked and mushy. Everything else was great!
Fun and lively atmosphere with friendly and efficient wait staff. Open kitchen, high ceilings and good food. what more do you want?
Warm, friendly greeting from hostesses. Delicious, freshly made food. Excellent server (Gordon). Beautiful atmosphere. All made it an amazing lunch experience.
Our server was Ms. Caitlyn she was great. The food was ok - the mushroom chicken wasn’t the best. My chicken parmigiana was great. The bologense was the best plate overall. (We all shared to try the plates) certainly interested in coming back to try different plates. I enjoyed the scenery in the restaurant.
Excellent food and service
A beautiful restaurant! I was disappointed that the dinner menu no shrimp dishes like they do on the lunch menu. The Caesar salad was delicious but skimpy for 12.00! The burata salad was awesome! The service was wonderful!
After meeting Michael Piazza on Saturday afternoon, we had to bring friends for dinner! We were very excited to be at the chef's table. A great view of what is happening in the kitchen and to talk with chefs as they prepared food.
Decide to have the Ravioli Di Ricotta as an appetizer and Porkchop Grigiato and Veal dish with friends having spaghetti Nana Maria.
After dinner we went up to the roof top patio for drinks and desert.
A wonderful evening with friends and great food!
I will be back...soon!
Great overall experience, great food, friendly staff
As always everything was phenomenal! Josh took great care of us! The Eggs in Purgatorio are amazing! We will be back later this month to introduce the restaurant to more new people!
Fantastic from start to finish. Wonderful setting as well.
This is the third time dining at this restaurant.
1st time server forgot our appetizers and failed to refill drinks until someone went up to host stand. They apologized and treated us to dessert
2nd time server forgot to deliver salads. Didn’t say anything until after paid and on way out door.
This time the server was new, needs some time to get better but great customer service and very friendly. Dishes piled up on our table the entire dining experience. Food quality seemed different this time. Bread was changed, it was a different kind cold and flavorless. Appetizers came out 4 minutes after ordering them which means they were premade and ready to go. First round of meatballs were cold. Quality of meatballs which were amazing first two times was different. Texture was off, flavor was off, and much smaller meatballs. Pasta sauce was bland this time and needed salt.
Good concept back execution all 3 times. Gonna take a break from eating here for a bit.
