   We had 2 x3 course meals and 1 x2 course. The full cost of all dishes was then reduced by an amount stated as 3x2 course meals, which made it very difficult to check if it was accurate. We had drinks and coffee too. Overall, I felt it was excessive . The staff were friendly. It seemed odd to only have a dessert spoon for the soup. It was a useful place to meet friends.

   Great place to eat for two adults and an infant. The staff were super attractive and the food was good value and served promptly.

   The service was appalling - my 2 friends and so ordered 3 main courses, only 2 arrived . When we asked for the third we were told we’d been misheard and they thought only 2 ordered . That dish arrived . We had to ask for the desert menu after waiting a long time - we were brought the bill instead of the menu , when we said we’d asked for desert menu we waited 20 mins for our order to be taken. In the end we paid and left without desert . The staff seemed disinterested

   Very nice table,attentive staff and good food. We were early for our booking it wasn’t a problem and we were sat down straight away. Our order was taken and we didn’t have to wait long for it to appear

   As always, the food in Carluccio's was fabulous. The service was exemplary. My local Carluccio's closed and I still miss this Italian haven in my locality.

   Today my order for Side dish of Focaccia with Mozzarella was delivered without mozzarella I was disappointed end sent it back for topping with mozzarella This is disappointing

   really good service considering how busy, only grumbles were there was a long dark hair stuck to the table when we sat down, so I asked for table to be cleaned, which it was straight away and they had run out of large bottles of beer.

    A few years ago I used to go to Carluccio's frequently and enjoyed it. Sadly, the food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. The bruschetta was tasteless. I couldn't taste any garlic. The tomatoes were very cold, straight out of the fridge. They weren't marinated in olive oil and balsamic. There wasn't any basil either. The bread was very thin and dry. Definitely not worth £8.95 I had the seafood risotto and my friend had the seafood linguine. The squid for both of us was overcooked. It was very tough. I had a closed mussels and a few empty shells. There were 7 mussels per portion. I know this because my friend had the same amount. I wasn't pleased I was given a closed mussel which can't be eaten. There is no excuse for not replacing it with an open mussel when they obviously have to count them per plate. Also, it wasn't busy, we we were there at 16.00hrs. My risotto was heavily over salted. I didn't enjoy it at all. I ate it because I was hungry. The 2 women staff that served us were very warm, welcoming and friendly. That's the only positive experience at Carluccio's, sadly. I can honestly say I won't be eating there again. Such a shame.
