Very nice food and service
Food was OK but the service was poor. We were given one hour slot - just before the place was closing. Waitress took forever to take a drink order for my friend who arrived early. She also didn’t mention to us that kitchen was closing so we neither were able to order more drinks nor a desert. She also didn’t offer any bowl for my shells so I had to stack them in my empty champagne glass. Overall the staff was nice but clueless. This didn’t help by the fact the it was super windy and fairly cold and the restaurant made no arrangements to accommodate for dining outside, in the lack of dining-in option, ie neither heaters, no blankets or even wind shields.
Really good service
Tables only for 1 hour was told as i sat down. Not very nice, they should make that a bit clear before you book.
I enjoyed the visit as it was just somewhere to catch up with friends and the staff were nice - but don’t expect great things from the food. Food wasn’t particularly special, not unpleasant but just mediocre and not much effort put into food presentation!
Average place to visit - Wetherspoons quality food just pricier.
Nice and quick food! Good classic Italian.
Nice place for friends lunch :) Good food and location.
The food is always good here. We sat on the pavement and it was quite fun actually!
Nice spot for morning brunch. Outdoor seating area with plenty of sunshine. Good breakfast meanu.
Beautiful, lovely atmosphere, so glad I booked here
I know we are all in a difficult situation right now. But as a customer I would love to feel nice and warm while having my dinner. There was not a patio heater . The tables were totally exposed for other people walking by. And I was freezing. Not a great experience I am afraid.
But the service was amazing, the lady who served me was absolutely helpfull and very friendly.
Very enjoyable lunch. Service was very attentive and friendly. Food, amazing as always. Well done everyone and thank you.
waited 25 more mins after our booking time because the tables weren't ready and fully booked. The taste of the food was very poor - worst carbonara I have ever tasted.
We had to wait for about five minutes after arriving early and they were so lovely and gave us a glass of Prosecco while we waited! The service was phenomenal and we were so well looked after. Very grateful this was our experience after lockdown. So pleased and had a great time!
very good good value service quick and friendly . because of restrictions ate outside no heaters or rugs as most restaurants supply .
The food just wasn’t hot enough. It came out luke warm. Service was all over the place. It took us 1 hour to find out what we want for dinner and that’s only because I chased.
Nice low-key vibe and good food. Would definitely recommend a visit and staff are friendly and accomodating.
Very unwelcoming, felt rushed to eat and felt watched all the time. Slight prejudice towards us all.
Great restaurant just opposite South Kensington Station. They have a very good menu and wine list. Professional and friendly waiters, who were very welcoming. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.
Excellent food and service. Would definitely go again
Food and service were great. The outdoor seating is on a busy road, in the shade and without heaters.
food and staff where lovely but Carluccios didn’t have heat lamps or wind buffers and we where cold and wind swept ! Needs a bit more thought going in to the diners comfort
Food was average quality , ambience was average
Great food and lovely service. Would definitely go again.
lovely service, great food! would definitely recommend
A delicious meal and excellent service. What more can one say?
Honestly not good, service was really good cause the people are nice but the food was horrendous
Excellent service and lovely food. My son has numerous food allergies and was so well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again! Impeccable service form the staff despite the solid flow of customers.
Bright, colourful and inviting restaurant, very convenient to stop by after visiting museums. Greeted and served by friendly staff. Great menu selection and food was fresh and delicious.
Really annoyed. Booked for 7.45 table on Sunday. At 4.45 I had a message to say that they would close at * and so could offer a table at 6.30. That was not possible for us at that stage
Excellent meal, well served in Christmassy surroundings.
Waiters were all great and helpful, and we felt safe from a covid point of view. My only negative is that we were asked whether they could bring out our mains when we hadn’t finished our starters, which I declined, and my meal was therefore a bit dried out.
It was just ok. The food was nice, but nothing impressive. The cocktails are not good, very watery and when I ordered an Amaretto sour, I got plain Amaretto on ice. Also one of the items that we ordered wasn't delivered at all. And it was extremely noisy, but it was a busy night. Overall, it's not bad, but I wouldn't go again.
Everything was good except the person at the door wrongly pronouncing my name and being rude about it
As it was the eve of lockdown, it was a memorable dinner. Food and drink were good, our waiter was charming and efficient and the atmosphere was buzzy and we felt as if it was Xmas Eve! A really wonderful dining experience on all counts, thank you and we look forward to coming back when lockdown ends.
Two of us had an excellent seafood pasta, one of the very best we've had at Carluccio's, followed by bitter chocolate and coffee ice cream which was absolutely delicious. Wine and service were great as usual. Dinner was so good we returned the next night for the same again and weren't disappointed. Thank you.
Perfect lunch for me and my 5 year old ahead of going to the museum. Quick service, but unhurried atmosphere, good choice of food, and my meal was so tasty. My son had a generous portion of veg sticks to fill up on before his beige main of choice and a sensible sized scoop of ice cream. Great decor, charming staff, would book again.
Great service! Our children loved the food and it was excellent value.
Easy, cozy and delicious food. We would totally go back. Ambiance could absolutely improve! Service was amazing :)
I ordered the same dish as someone sitting next to me. And mine looked like it was a small portion. No taste at all.
It was my very first time in Carluccios and to be honest I didn't enjoy it enough to be back.
