Enjoy a wonderful dining experience with family or friends at Carelli's. Owner Greg Carelli with help from his father Gene wanted to offer guests authentic Italian cuisine in a contemporary setting that features a large open flame fireplace, mosaic tiles, natural Birch woods, and warm lighting. An appetizer of fresh mozzarella and Beefsteak tomato caprese, lightly breaded calamari or lamb artichoke meatballs will please the palate at Carelli's. Guests can dine on baked jumbo shells stuffed with spinach and ricotta , the classic chicken parmigiana or shrimp scampi. Artisanal pizza, calzones, and paninis. Awsome Gluten-free options are also available.

Carelli's was the winner of the Daily Camera Reader's Choice 2002-2020 award for Best Italian Restaurant and ambiance. It also has won awards from the Denver Post and Boulder Weekly magazines. It has an awesome bar scene and an extensive wine list. Carelli's restaurant features daily fresh fish specials.

The chicken piccata, chicken parmigiana, garlic bread and bruschetta were all amazing. Chicken Marsala didn't have enough flavor for my taste. Our waiter, Owen(?) was very attentive and quite friendly. Thank you for a great dinner

Wonderful Italian place! Cool vibe and very roomy. Our server could not have been nicer or more helpful. Menu is full of traditional Italian favorites. We had the calamari and it was perfectly done with a nice lightly spicy marinara sauce. The Spaghetti Bolognese was perfectly al dente. Very good and reasonably priced valpolicella to complement all.

As always, we had a delicious dinner at Carelli's with outstanding service. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Boulder where we can rely on a delicious meal every time!

Our server for the evening, Owen, did an outstanding job. He greeted us at our table with a friendly smile. He immediately introduced himself and asked each of our names. Throughout our dining experience, he called each of us by our names. He was attentive throughout, pacing our meal just right and fulfilling our special requests. As usual, our entrées were delicious and plentiful. We packed up part of our meals to enjoy the next day. Carelli's is truly a gem in Boulder. I have celebrated many a special occasion here and never been disappointed. Job well done!

Service was really bad. Appetizers came before our drinks, long wait for server to take entree order, sever came back 10 minutes after taking order to double-check what we ordered. We asked for a cup of ice. It never arrived, so I got one myself at the bar. Water glass wasn’t refilled. A server dropped a glass behind us. Ten minutes after, another sever dropped a wine bottle. Disappointing night.

My husband and I have been going to Carelli's since it opened. We are locals and it is one of our favorite places. We have many favored dishes. We often bring out of town guests and they are always impressed. The booths and the patio are the quietest. Thanks for a reliably great experience.

Although I usually come in with my wife, I had a business meeting and decided to go to Carellis. The food was delicious as usual. We were sat in the back room where it was a little bit quieter, but the elegant atmosphere was the same. Our service was perfect. While being on point and prompt, she was not obtrusive. Great job
