   My husband and I are regulars at Carelli's and have been for years. I love the service and atmosphere and usually the amazing food. Last night I was really confused and disappointed by my meal. We always get the arugula salad to start and last night we were served arugula that was wilted to the point of being slimy. I couldn't eat it and pointed it out to the waitress who apologized but didn't offer another or take it off the bill. Then my eggplant parmesan came, a dish I always look forward to here, and it was served burned. The breading was black and burned impacting the whole taste of the other pieces that were not burned. Additionally the spaghetti on the same dish was watery and made the whole dish be sitting in a pool of pasta water. Urgh! I didn't say anything but have been really bothered by my disappointing meal. I love Carcellis and will go back and am hoping perhaps it was just an off night and not a sign of a decline.

   Our main dishes were delicious for everyone at the table. The garlic bread wasn’t as good as it’s been in past experiences though.

   I have dined at this hidden gem in Boulder on many occasions over the years - from birthdays, to special celebrations, or just craving a great Italian meal - not to mention their world famous garlic bread, fresh out of the oven and delivered to the table. This last visit was before a performance at the University of Colorado. Our server, Sage, greeted us with a beaming smile. Throughout the dining experience, she was attentive, professional and kept out a watchful eye for any needs or special requests. Carelli's is definitely my "go to" place when I am in Boulder. I would highly recommend this fine dining place whenever you feel the need for feeling special and satisfying your Italian cravings!

   I can always expect the best of everything at Carellis. I had the carbonara last night. It was fantastic. Waiter brought out a surprise huge fudgy delicious slice of cake with a candle for my friend s birthday. Didn’t expect that! Classy place.

   Everything was perfect. The service was the best I’ve ever had there, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was comfortable and lovely. This is one of my very favorite Italian restaurants.

   We both ordered salmon entrees and they were delicious. We started with roasted olives which shouldn’t be missed. We were celebrating the day we met and the original location was called Coscarelli’s in Michigan. Now I intend to celebrate at Carelli’s annually - a special restaurant that brings back beautiful memories of our first date.

   They never disappoint, our food and service was outstanding. Shout out to Jordan our server. Excellent job!

   We had a mixed experience at Carellis tonight. We received a lovely welcome from the Hostess and seated at a cozy corner table. Unfortunately, the cozy corner was ignored by our server. We watched as she attentively tended to the table of four next to us, bringing drinks, bread, appetizers and refilling their water glasses, not once glancing our way or acknowledging us. Eventually, we had to ask the Hostess if we could be served as we had yet to receive glasses of water. Our service continued to be scant and poor but the food was worth the wait as it was hot and tasty when it eventually arrived. We are hoping to go back to Carellis but not to sit at a table in a cozy corner!

    We had an amazing 18th Birthday celebration for our son last evening! The Pesce Asiago and the Shrimp Scampi were outstanding! The Kale and Apple Salad was one of the best salads I have ever had! Service is always excellent! Not to be missed!
