Still our “GO TO” restaurant in Boulder!!
Excellent meal! Will return again soon!!!
I got a caesar salad, ravioli and then the lava cake!! Everything was outstanding definitely recommend to anyone. We are out from out of town so it was great to try a new place!!
In a rush to airport but staff was cordial, efficient and accommodating. The wait staff was really attentive to our special needs without being intrusive. Food was excellent. It was a Saturday evening so the noise level was moderate but did not detract from our enjoyment of the meal. We have been here many times in the past and will certainly be back.
Great food, service, and ambiance. Never disappointed. A place I can feel confident recommending to friends and family. Probably our favorite restaurant in Boulder.
This is a tried-and-true tradition for us. It is very Manhattan Chic but not at all snobby. The food is delicious and it has a wonderful atmosphere and a wonderful wait staff. The price point is very good and what more could you want. If you choose to sit outside there is a nice fire pit and just a lovely atmosphere.
One of the best restaurants in Boulder. Food is excellent. Everything on the menu will surpass your expectations. The atmosphere is charming. The staff is excellent. Eating at the bar is always fun. We keep coming again and again because we feel so welcome.
Nice ouside seating. When it poured we were able to be seated inside. Food great! Good wine! Service not stellar but we keep going back! Romeo/juliet crepes to die for!
My favorite restaurant in Boulder. Always great and consistant Food, Drinks, and Service. We always like to get down early before our reservation and sit at the bar, perfect atmosphere. Good drinks. Cool bartenders. On Tuesday the Trout special was outstanding. My date had the always terrific Scoozi. Another nice evening at Carelli's
Instead of being able to order, we were ignored by the waitress for almost 15 minutes. Go to Il Pastiao instead.
The food was very good. Even though part of my dish turned out to not be my style, they were willing to give me something different. We will go here again when we are in the area. The service was very quick at first, but as the restaurant got full the service slowed considerably.
Best Italian Restaurant in Boulder. Inviting atmosphere. Great for a relaxing meal and conducive to conversation. Knowledgeable waitstaff.
Great service and food. Fun conversations with manage and staff...the only improvement would be the hostess. The last two visits she has acted as if she is doing us a favor by seating us (we are regulars and had a reservation)...kinda snarky
Our daughter and her boy friend stopped by on their way to the airport, so we took them to Carelli's, one of our favorite restaurants in the Boulder area. Everything was perfect, as usual. We started with the eggplant stack, a terrific appetizer done to perfection. We had four different entrees, all of which were delicious. (The manicotti is the best I've ever had!) We had a variety of wine, beer and cocktails and, once again, everyone was pleased with their choices. The service at Corelli's is always attentive and helpful, but this time it was even better. The kitchen made a mistake with my wife's order, but the staff and restaurant manager both responded timely and quickly remedied the matter. No one had time for desert. Finally, I want to commend Greg for offering an interesting and comprehensive wine list - and at reasonable prices. Not all restaurants in Boulder do this.
Was good. Food was good. Place was nice. Will probably come back sometime to try another meal.
Service was wonderful. We were at our table for a couple of hours, catching up, the wait staff was kind and attentive throughout, told us to take our time, kept our drinks refreshed. A really lovely dining experience.
Excellent service and good service.
Carelli's has been a favorite of ours for many, many years.
Great for any occasion-lunch , dinner, private parties.
The tuna special on Tuesday night was absolutely perfect! This chef understands a summer fish dish with the perfect arugula, melon, and light dressing for the delectable tuna. Our server was efficient and cheerful, and we had a lovely evening. The dining room is very noisy with so many people enjoying themselves, so it's harder to hear. I would wish for a little more privacy for a special evening as the tables are very close together. The very few booths are huge, so makes it hard to get one of those for two people. The food and elegant service are worth the noise and close quarters, however.
Always the best. Our family has been coming here since forever. It use to be our special occasion place then we wondered why not all the time. Its nice to see friendly faces eat great food and when the weather is nice sit on their cozy patio. Remember to make a reservation!
We love coming here for special occasions!! We come every year for my partners birthday!
A little pricey for sitting outside in a parking lot. But decent food and good service.
First time to this establishment. Hostess was friendly and accomodating, recognizing we were on a private occasion and was willing to seat us in a booth offering a buffer from the rest of the restaurant noise. No one came by our table for a while, but when they did, we placed our drink and dinner orders and the service was top notch.
Very enjoyable experience and we'll be back to sample other dishes.
Wonderful as always!
Good food, great service. Had requested a booth, but none available - they sat us in the private party room, which was wonderful. Overall a fine dining experience.
Great place for a nice Italian meal. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Boulder.
The salmon I had was great and the garlic bread was delicious! The service was somewhat slow though. I also ended up getting pellegrino but wasn't told it was an extra charge instead of tap water which was a little bit surprising.
The food was delicious. I had the trout special, my husband had the veal Parmigiana, my niece had the ravioli and my son had steak. Our server was very accommodating with my entree since I have food intolerances. The restaurant was very busy so the noise level was high. We definitely like this restaurant and will come again when in the area.
Food and service excellent. We arrived for our 7:15 table, had to wait a little, but the noise level was disconcerting. However, within a half hour enough people had left that the noise level was fine. I suggest, booking after 7.
Awesome place as usual... our server was Stephen and he was very attentive. Loved the artisan pizza we had and the chocolate lava cake.
Consistent service and great food
We had such a lovely evening with special friends. The lovely booth made it possible to have an intimate conversation and experience. Thank you Carelli’s for making our birthdays special and the celebration memorable.
Marvelous as usual!
This is the place to celebrate my birthday!
Carelli’s never fails to satisfy my urge for ambiance and pasta!
On the recommendation of an associate, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a date night at Carelli’s. We were not disappointed. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated at a cozy table right next to the fireplace and received a warm greeting from our waitress, who offered us a drink. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir from Oregon and the mussels appetizer to start out. They brought some delicious garlic bread to accompany the mussels and we were beyond satisfied. For dinner, my wife had the eggplant parmesan (her favorite), and I had the chicken saltimbocca. Both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Neither of us could finish, as the portion sizes are very generous, and had the waitress box up our leftovers. For dessert we had an apple pie style crepe that I can’t remember the name of, but what a way to end the night!
Overall, we were both very impressed with our experience, and are already planning our next outing. The food was authentic and delectable, and the atmosphere was very cozy and tasteful. We were so pleased to get a seat next to the fireplace. The service was also exceptional; our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and patient wish us, as it was our first time in and we felt a bit overwhelmed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who values a quality dinner outing.
Food took almost 1h, the steak ($33 plate) was extremely rare, even when asked to be cooked medium. They took it back and, 10 min later, the steak came back just as rare. At this point the manager offered to take that dish off the bill for us, but no steak, just ate a sub-par gluten-free pasta. Forgot to bring the garlic bread to the table and in general very slow service, would not buy again. Server and manager were apologetic and gave us a free desert, but our anniversary dinner was pretty terrible nonetheless.
Consistent, great service combined with piping hot high-quality meals, an excellent wine list and a fantastic ambience. Carelli‘s is our go-to!
Mediocre food at best with poor service
My son and I went here for dinner and both of us were in the mood for a pasta dish. We were very surprised when the order arrived at our table very quickly. From start to finish we were out of there in 1/2 hour, a record for sure at any nice restaurant. The meals got there before the garlic bread, which by the way, was delicious. I don't usually eat bread but it was so good I think I had 3 pieces. This was the 4th time I've been to Carelli's since our son moved out to Boulder and each time our meals have been very good.
Great place to have a nice dinner with good food and great service. Will continue to go back
Ending up sitting at the bar for a great birthday dinner. Bartenders were great as was the food and drink.
