   Arrived for time booked but Canvas closed ..... and has been for about two months according to hotel next door. Not great to be left in west London with no reservation for elsewhere! Advised OpenTable at the time so most annoying that it is still on system and I am being asked to review.

   food was not all great, dry bland. good selection of wines. nice place with music service was a delight, a young man took care of us superb. he suggested a few cocktails first at the bar. really enjoyable

   Enjoyable. Greeted at the bottom of the stairs with courtesy. Had drinks at the bar , Passion fruit martini was a delight there was just one young guy seems like the manager \ waiter and bartender who was very attentive, smiling and gave us good insights on the menu . His recommendation on the Coyom Chilean wine was superb. Well recommended and will be back

   Nice ambience and courteous service, but neither can make up for the disappointing quality of the food, which lacked flavour and imagination, and the poor presentation. There is a huge mismatch between the culinary aspirations described on the website and the reality.

   Closed too many times, seems like the owners haven't got a clue how to run a Restuarant.food is dull an away, not even real French Night as well go to Colbert instead

   We found that we were one of only 3 or 4 tables which meant there was little atmosphere and felt a bit uncomfortable for a Friday night. The food was nice, but the service was awful, wrong food delivered, learning over dinners to collect things and several other mistakes you don't expect when paying so much money. Wouldn't dream of ever going back.

    We went for brunch and the service wasn't great. We weren't 'allowed' to order our dessert separately from our main. We had to order both together because our waiter thought it might get busy. I had the burger which was okay, but my sister's Eggs Benedict came on stale bread. The prosecco was nearly flat. Then after we left, the manager shouted out to us to see if we had paid their service charge. We had but incredibly unprofessional, he then continue to shout down the street that we should come down. Just a very bizarre experience.
