   We sat outside so it's hard to know how things were inside. Heater worked well, server and other helpers were all excellent and food was delicious.

    The food is great and the service is exceptional. However a table of three sitting near us was very loud and appeared intoxicated. When the family near them politely asked them to stop screaming, they proceeded to cuss out the family. Restaurant management allowed them to stay and they continued to be a nuisance. Very unpleasant experience.

    The resturant itself is beautiful. The service was excellent but the food was atrocious.. worst Mexican food I’ve had. My father is an international chef for more than 30 years, so I know. I rather go to a street taco vendor 1000000 then to step foot at cantina Frida again. It was so horrible I didn’t even complain. We all just left.

    I have been to Frida‘s many times. Usually great experience. I don’t know if they were overwhelmed, Cinco De Mayo, or what the story was. But the service was extremely slow, they got our order wrong multiple times. Drinks took forever to arrive. They brought the wrong food and put it down on our table and then served it to someone else. They also added a few things onto our bill that were not there. They brought 2 tacos, only one of which I ordered, then when I asked them to correct it they took it back to the kitchen, literally wiped off the extra taco and brought back the visibly same plate. I’m usually very happy with Freeda but this time was a complete disaster. Not a great experience

    The service was very good and so was the food as well as the drinks. The music however was too loud and not even good music. The techno music was so distracting we could not even hear one another talk. We had to scream the whole time to have a conversation.

    Fresh, delicious food. Large portions., excellent salads. Guacamole made table side. Music a bit too loud. The waitstaff were attentive and welcoming. We will return!

    My sister and I came here for lunch and were blown away at the quality and authenticity of the food, as well as the kindness of the waiters and waitresses. The carne asada tacos and baja tacos were the best tacos we have ever had, and our server Abel was so friendly. Would give this 10 stars if I could :)

    Luisito was an amazing server! He was very pleasant and patient with people who were so hungry we didn’t know what we wanted to eat, asking him a thousand questions about the menu choices. Lol. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were great. Flavors of the Camarones Al Ajillo were chefs kiss. I’ll be back.

    We went to dinner and had reservations at 8:45pm. The girl said he would seat us as soon as the tables were free he said approximately 10 minutes…. So 8 of us went to the bar and had some Drinks. 20 MINUTES later we asked the girl what happened she said.. “oh that table is paying for it’s bill 5 more minutes”. We said nicely ok. Then 15 minutes after that, we see cakes being sent to the table that the girl told us was for us she basically lied to us. We asked the manager what’s going on he said you’ll be seated soon. One and a half hours later we got seated. The manager didn’t apologize. One time didn’t even offer. Hey, here’s a free dessert because you waited over an hour and a half!! he was so rude!!! so disrespectful!!! at the end of the night the manager comes up to us and says “ what do you want me to do so don’t pay gratuity to your server!!!!!!!!” Omg!! Omg!!!! Shame on this manager for even speaking this way to us, he threw the check at our table and walked away. We didn’t even ask for anything just for an apology that we had to wait for an hour and a half and this is the way the MANAGER ACTS!!!!!!! we told our nice Server what the manager had told us! We gave our server extra extra money just for being so nice!! Shame on your manager!!!! we have told many many friends about our story, and we are never dining with you guys ever again!!! Your manager has no experience and no manners!

    My date and I ordered 2 orders of the lobster enchiladas and they were both so salty. We sent 1 of the 2 orders back but I wish we sent both back. It was so salty that the waiter came back and told us that even the chef said it was too salty and shouldn’t have been prepared like that. They only refunded us 1 of the 2 orders but they should have credited back both orders. So disappointing!

    Food was delicious. We ordered hamachi appetizer, nachos, tacos, healthy bowl salad, salmon Diablo, and fried plaintains. Everything was well-seasoned, fish was well-cooked, and all of the food was expeditiously served (especially considering it was a busy Saturday night). We had a round of margaritas as well that were great. Everyone left happy and would be delighted to return.

    Reserved an outdoor table a week in advance on open table. When we arrived the place was loud and packed and we were shown to a booth by the bar. I showed that we had reserved outdoors (husband is immunocompromised and with Covid we are comfortable outside) and the hostess was very rude and talked down to me saying it was too cold to be outside. Well, low and behold when we were leaving the restaurant what did we see? People eating outside! The tables were all set and the heaters were on and there were in fact patrons dining outdoors. Unsure why the hostess didn't want to accommodate us, but maybe it was because we looked average and not like we had tons of money. Ridiculous.

    I was the celebrate my birthday and to watch the Super Bowl. I didn’t get to do anything. We left after 10 minutes. The reason I gave a 1 star for overall and service was only because of how nice the hostess was, if it wasn’t because of her I would’ve given this place a -star. She took us to our table and that’s the last time anyone talked to us. 10 minutes went by and no one, no server came not even to greet us, or offered us water. That was our first time there and the last. Such a disappointment, the place and food looked good.

    I don’t think I’ll go back. Had I’d known there was going to be a loud band (they were good though), I would’ve never made reservations there. I was celebrating a birthday with a friend and trying to catch up but we could not hear each other and it was so frustrating. Food was overrated but I guess I’m paying BH prices.     The service was very subpar. We barely received any attention from the waiting staff during the entire evening - we were only served when we flagged down a waiting staff member. Other tables to the right and left were served immediately and received more attention than we did. It was very unfortunate and they didn’t look at my reason of the occasion on the Open Table Reservation. The food was great and the environment was great.

    Food has always been great here. It’s the star. A bit expensive, but hey, you are in Beverly Hills. Restaurant is VERY loud, especially in the back area. Service was OK, but we had to hunt down the waiter to get purple check, as he kind of abandoned us after delivering dessert. Just be sure to request a table or booth in the front part of the place. It’s hard to talk within your group at Frida, nearly impossible at the back tables.
