   I will start this review out by noting that I and my group were slightly conflicted about our collective experience. We each wanted to love Canon. Never before has Michelin steered us towards a less than stellar experience. Unfortunately, after giving it a night for reflection the morning brings clarity, each of our 4 members shared a 3.5 star meal with underwhelming notes throughout the night. Please note there was no singular failure to point to as ruinous or even unpleasant, but equally significant was the lack of flair or creativity that would set this establishment apart from a well run chain franchise. Our reservation was set for 7:30, with very clear notes in Open Table that there is only an allowance of 15 minutes for diners. While we were a punctual 5 minutes early, we were not able to be seated until almost 8:00. This was fine, but there is very limited space inside, so we waited by standing in the pleasant courtyard area at standing height tables as there was no seating options outside. The seating was nice with a booth that comfortably sat 4 next to the kitchen in the corner of an open dining room. This was great for watching the energetic comings and goings of the staff; however as the evening progressed the volume within the relatively open atmosphere did make waitstaff interactions and even normal conversation slightly challenging. This was highlighted towards the end of our evening as an energetic group of young ladies celebrating a birthday were seated nearby. Next was the menu. We had reviewed the food options shown on Open Table prior to our visit and were excited to try the swordfish among several other delicacies that were described, our printed menus mirrored this. Unfortunately, our server had to inform us that the menus were outdated with Swordfish being replaced by a Cod dish. Food, the Cod was very fish forward and broth oily. The Steak was beautifully cooked, but lacked seasoning, which made the house sauce a needed element.

   First time dining here! After all the reviews about the lack of parking, we arrived extra early. But got lucky and found parking in the residential area 5 minutes walking distance to Canon. Celebrated my husband’s bday. We ordered the tater tots, chicken drumsticks, asparagus, and crispy pork loin. Everything was absolutely delicious! We ended up bringing some of the pork loin home…platter was huge! We also had the yummy chocolate donuts for dessert. Our waiter was wonderful. Fun dining and watching the busy chefs in the open kitchen. Both the hostess and the waiter wished my husband a Happy Bday. Only complaint is the room was really loud….difficult to have a conversation without talking very loudly. Looking forward to dining here again.

   Exceptional! Servers were perfectly attentive, food was creative and craveable, and on the very comfortable patio the noise level was low so conversation was easy. I can’t wait to return!

   Terrible food and service for the price. Not sure why they’re serving brunch at 4-5p

   We attended their Mother’s Day Brunch buffet. The food was excellent! Everything was fresh and they replenished the buffet in a timely manner. They also had a pancake station with a choice of toppings and a pork carving station. The service was very good and everyone was very friendly. The Millionaire’s Bacon was so good!

   Food offered at brunch Buffett was mediocre at best. Unripe pineapple dry muffins millionaire bacon was too sweet and greasy and more just failed to make the charge of $ 80.00 p/p worth it Had there not been the pancake station available it would have been a failure. Then my husband got sick once we returned home so there will be no need to return. Service was good but not very on top of keeping utensils available at parfait station nor any salt or pepper on the tables.

   The staff were able to accommodate our large group. We enjoyed the prefix menu🫶 everything was delicious

    We love Canon. We had not been in awhile, but they did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the specialty cocktails were flavorful and not overwhelming. ❤️
