Great farm to table cuisine in a beautiful renovated space that was an old farm house. A place to dine, not just eat at.
Campo is my new FAVORITE restaurant in Albuquerque!
Not so good. My husband had the mole which had no flavor.
We had such a wonderful time and loved the food! The service was respectful and extremely knowledgeable.
The food was delicious and out of the ordinary. The service was impeccable. This restaurant should be on everyone's "must" list.
Stayed at the Inn and dinner was soooo good! A very memorable meal and stay.
The food was absolutely delicious. This is a must try!
We ate at the chef's table in the kitchen and enjoyed an exceptional 10 course tasting menu with our adult son, who was visiting from Indianapolis. We all thought the food was outstanding, largely locally sourced, organic ingredients, combined in innovative offerings that were artfully prepared and served. My wife and I have dined here numerous times, even though it is a 1 hour drive from our home in Santa Fe, so we knew the food is high quality and the setting along the Rio Grande is pleasant. However, this was our first experience with the tasting menu, which in our opinion is the best way to sample the full range of the chef's creativity.
Campo is by far my favorite restaurant in the ABQ area and frankly in the entire state! From the lovely decor and the attentive wait staff to the impeccable blending of flavors in each and every menu item it is nearly impossible to find any fault. Damn! You guys do it all so well!
Had a wonderful experience. Great food and ambiance. Would highly recommend. Gem of a restaurant in Albuquerque. Will definitely return and take friends and family. Our teen age kids enjoyed the food as well. Thank you for a lovely evening.
The room was very loud and made conversation difficult.
Food is very good but it's too noisy. We couldn't hear each other so it was not pleasant. Won't be going back until the noise is addressed. Have eaten in the old restaurant and it was lovely.
We had a wonderful meal here over the weekend. It was my sister's birthday and our server made her feel very special. She also happens to be obsessed with peacocks and we managed to come across one before going in for dinner - it was perfect! Two more went past the window as we were sitting there. It was a little loud for being able to talk down the table but it didn't ruin the experience at all. Kid's menu was a little limited. Try the trout... the sauce is amazing!
Campo is delicious, great ingredients, well composed dishes, nice interior, and great service.
There is a reason Jonathan Perno is recognized as one of the premier chefs in the country. Our meal exceed all expectations and the entire presentation was like a work of art. The appetizers were creative and representative of a very high end restaurant. The blue corn hush puppies with carne adovada and red chili were to die for. The ribeye was awesome, the lamb un real and the trout divine. Walking thru the kitchen was amazing. Campo without a doubt is one of the finest restaurants in the Southwest and maybe the country. San Francisco, New York and Chicago have nothing on Los Ranchos when it comes to fine dining.
This was my first time in the new Dinning Room. I loved the room and the effort taken, but I actually prefer the Inn. We went with friends and I had to keep telling my husband to talk quietly because voices carried and we were in a booth. We could hear the conversations of the people around us. When I'm experiencing an evening of "fine dinning" I prefer just that. I plan on visiting again for Brunch or I will just enjoy a cocktail and a meal in the Lounge.
Unique main course selections. My lamb dish was very special; like a lamb shank but without the bone. No need for a knife. Los Poblanos new location, Campo, is special. A converted barn with a unique ceiling. With money being no problem, we would go back in a heart beat. Pricey otherwise.
Amazing meal. Service was the best
Can't wait to go back
Really my only negative was how loud the main room is when it is full of people. I realize many restaurants are "energetic" as you put it, but my friend and I were using very loud voices and many times missing words that one another were saying.
It is such a lovely space, such a special location, it is really too bad that sound is such an issue.
I have a friend who works with sound issues with APS and has been very successful-beautifully adapted new spaces that work as cafeterias and theators for instance. I would be happy to refer him. Call me if you'd like his name, Barb Miller, 505 977-5060
Was excellent across the board. Probably the only drawback was ambient noise at times made conversation difficult...
But the food and service made up for it!
We were there for breakfast. Had a wonderful meal. Really enjoyed it.
Fantastic service, entries, view, and ambiance. Great for foodies. The manager even gave my son and his wife (the foodies) a tour of the kitchen. This is the first time we have dined at Campo , as we usually dine in Santa Fe or Noble Hill. We will definitely dine here again and I highly recommend this restaurant.
It didn't really matter that we had a reservation. Our name was called but we didn't hear it and it was given to someone else. They should have know it wasn't us as we were a party of two and a party of four responded. After we finally got seated, our order was misplaced and we waited for a long time. When they finally found our order, they did give us a complementary piece of cinnamon bread and our coffee. It seemed rather odd that we got left our at the reception desk and our order got lost. Won't be going there again.
Melanie was our server and was great. She knew everything about the menu and the farm! The menu was so good that it was hard to choose what to eat! I ordered the chilaquiles with the sausage patties and they were to die for. My friend ordered the farm omelette and loved hers too. After breakfast we walked around the farm, which wasn’t too exciting this time of year but summer I’m sure is amazing. I will definitely be back to try everything else on the menu!
The food was absolutely delicious and our server (who was actually the bartender) was incredibly attentive to anything we needed. However, when we arrived for a 6:45 reservation at 6:40, we were told there would be an hour wait for our table. Certainly not ideal with little kids in tow! We ate instead in the bar area at small cocktail tables, which ended up working out fine. In the end, a table popped up about 35 mins after our reservation time, but by then we'd settled into the little tables so we didn't move.
All in all, was a lovely experience, after the initial annoyance with our reservation.
Great meal and experience. We were seated at the chefs table in the kitchen. The staff was amazingly organized and efficient in preparing and serving the meals for a crowded place. Even though they were extremely busy they took time to explain what they were doing and provided small samples of some of their different appetizers. All the various veggies we were served we're fresh, tasty, and properly prepared. The main courses were simarly prepared. OMG the piached apples, creme fraich, chocolate cake were amazing!!
Of course the setting is beautiful, but the food was excellent as well. My one real qualm was that the side of fresh fruit was just a quarter of an apple cut up and a quarter of a slice of a kiwi. If you don’t have fruit, just don’t serve it.
We have been to Los Poblanos twice in the last few months and it was a great experience both times. This time we sat at the chef's table and were treated to some delicious treats while we waited between courses! Our server, Anna, was a true professional and fun to talk to. Heather made our appetizers and desserts and answered all of our questions about the inner workings of the kitchen. Daniel is the Sous Chef and was also great at telling us about the samples he brought us. We highly recommend Campo at Los Poblanos!
Reservations seemed relatively meaningless as we had to wait quite a bit after our reservation time. There was no attempt from a manager to make up for that. Dining room was incredibly noisy, which for the price and “class” of such a place was shocking. Had the food not been pretty good, I would have rather spent my money elsewhere.
I’ve only been for breakfast/brunch, but it was awesome each time!
Our meal would have been overall outstanding had it not for the service. Once we were waited on the waiter was very good. I had to ask 25 minutes into our seating if anyone was going to wait on us. For a 8:15 reservation, the evening was getting late.
As always - Campo delivered an amazing experience in every possible way.
Super fabulous fantastic dining experience in Albuquerque!! A must for anyone visiting
love love love Campo! the food, service and ambiance are all outstanding. I absolutely love this place!
Incredible valentines dinner
Best dinner we have had in sbq
Excellent meal, service was fine, although a bit slow. Will definitely eat at Campo again.
The food was fresh and top quality! Los Poblanos is my favorite place in the Albuquerque area!
We chose to have brunch here specifically to meet up with friends because it was a new spot for all of us (group of 4). The reservation was easy to make online and we were seated within 10 minutes of checking in. Once we were seated, we were given our menus and we waited about 20 minutes for our waitress to come back after flagging down another staff member to ask for her service. We placed our drink and food order at the same time and even after the unusually long wait, I had to ask for my coffee drink again because it was never brought out to me. Our waitress was extremely apologetic and gave us our drinks complimentary, which was very much appreciated. However, logistically, for a restaurant that requires reservations, I didn't expect our table to be forgotten. Thankfully we were catching up with our friends so the wait time was not too much of a burden, but it was definitely noticeable enough for us to ask each other, "I wonder what happened to our waitress?" The ambiance and the fresh food were perfect though, and I would be willing to give brunch another try later down the road! It really is the perfect setting to meet up with a small group to catch up.
Eh . . . really very underwhelming, quite honestly.
