Shoreditch is the newest member of the Camino family. Inspired by the Castile y León region of Northern Spain, the restaurant and bar is vibrant yet relaxed, with a beautiful heated terrace for outdoor drinking and dining all year round.

This location is particularly special to us, as it was in Shoreditch that our first ever bar Cantaloupe, opened back in 1995. The neighbourhood sparked the DNA that then lived on in all of the restaurants and bars we’ve opened since, and we’re delighted to have returned home again after all these years.

    I am writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to your Shoreditch restaurant on Monday, 14th July. As a long-standing customer of over 10 years, I have always enjoyed your food and atmosphere, which made this experience particularly disheartening. My party ordered the Chorizo dish, which I have enjoyed many times in the past. Unfortunately, the portion size has been significantly reduced and, at £9.50, no longer represents value for money. The dish has also changed in presentation—from being served in a generous dish with sauce to now appearing on tacos, which altered both the experience and the taste in a less satisfying way. Secondly, the wine list was confusing and difficult to navigate. It featured unfamiliar regions and carried a steep price point, with the most affordable bottle priced at nearly £30. Most disappointing of all was the service. The white wine we ordered was brought to the table un-chilled, and the waiter—who appeared to be new—was clearly untrained in proper wine service, adding to the overall frustration of the evening. Given the consistently high standards I’ve come to expect from Camino over the years, this visit fell well short. I sincerely hope you will review the feedback, particularly regarding portion size, menu clarity, and staff training, as I would love to return if these issues are addressed.

    The experience was 5*. Your front of house and assistant managers were amazing. Professional but so personable. They both need to be recommended for staff service reward. David Pascoe

    Really nice meal here, its loud and busy and a great buzz. Food was lovely and the service was very good. Only negative was that the service was included in the bill yet when the tap was presented I was given an option to pay a tip, I obv said 'no tip' but it didnt leave a good feeling as she was lovely yet I had already tipped her.

    Camino is a popular destination in this part of Shoreditch and you can guarantee typical Spanish fare, well cooked and presented. I will be happy to return for lunch or an evening meal.

    Food was delicious, staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered too much food for our table and they offered to move us over to a bigger one, which we really appreciated. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area
