   Very expensive given the overall basic standard of the food. Meat or fish dishes were served with a simple salad, and it was generally quite bland and dry. The calamari was very good, however. Acoustics do not lend themselves to intimate conversation. The service was prompt but slightly clumsy.

   Lovely little neighbourhood italian restaurant in Vauxhall, just 8min walk from Vauxhall underground station, 1min from Holiday Inn. Tasty food, lovely wine selection, I recommend the Etna Doc. Very reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere.

   Made reservation with OpenTable for 17:15 , 14.03.2019. When I got there 5 minutes earlier, there was a sign on the door _ CLOSED. Inside... there was one guy sitting, I knocked, he ignored me. I thought that he is are preparing something ... Came back 15 minutes after .. still CLOSED I knocked on the door .. more loudly .. guy just waved at me to go away ... I tried to cancel reservation on Open table ... no way So I used Google , and find Cacio e Pepe Nice place, nice food ...

   Had read good things about Caminetto, but unfortunately we didn’t enjoy the food. A pasta special containing clams was inedible. The clams used were tiny, they contained hardly any flesh, so the dish was basically pasta and loads of tiny shells. Each mouthful of pasta was difficult to eat as the shells had to be picked out, and there was sand or grit. Our starter of deep fried baby squid, tasted odd, like the oil they had been fried in wasn’t fresh. Another main, pasta with a seafood selection was ok, but nothing special for the price. Service was hit and miss, waitress didn’t question the returned bowl of shell laden pasta, no one asked if we had enjoyed our food. We paid up, and left.

   Fantastic place hidden. I went here for my girlfriends birthday and she loved it. Great food, great service and great value would highly recommend.

   Caminetto is a hidden gem tucked away from busy Vauxhall in the South Lambeth area. The staff are very polite and accommodating and the cocktails, food and wine were superb.

   Small, quite, cozy italian restaurant with a great ambient. Good attention, food and wine. We went in new year's eve and was that we expect. Perfect.

   Small authentic Italian place, with great food and great atmosphere. You feel really looked after, the food is excellent, and extremely good value. I've been for food but also a good spot for a bottle of wine and nibbles. I've already been twice and will definitely be back sooner than later.

    We came for dinner on Tuesday. The waiters were very lovely and attentive and the food was incredible. Best gnocchi i’ve ever eaten!
