Wonderful food as always ! We always love going to this amazing restaurant
Very nice ambience for breakfast. Quiet enought that we could talk without shouting to each other. Most enjoyable.
The food is great; the portions are the right size and the place has the best French Onion Soup in the tri-city area hands down. Also the cocktails are made well. Desserts are OK for an establishment such as this and the coffee is good. Service also very good. In summary I’m glad it is surviving the viral plague and I do recommend it for high grade French-shaded cousine
We celebrated a friends birthday, and everything from the appetizers to the main course to dessert was perfect. There was never a doubt that anything would go wrong, and everybody was please very satisfied with everything.
Excellent food and service. Bean burger is world class -best I have ever had as a 40+ year vegetarian.
Our waitress was lovely, Kathy I think but sorry I’m not sure
Awesome food, clean tables and service was very attentive. 100% recommend.
The salmon and twin filets were outstanding. As always we had excellent service.
The service we received was excellent. The scallops were fantastic but the beef was over cooked.
The salmon was delightful and the filet was cooked to perfection.
Highly recommend! Food and desserts are outstanding as is the atmosphere and service. Thank you for another great experience!
Overall the dining experience was average, but we expected more from an upscale restaurant like Cafe Zinc. The service started out really good, but there was only one other party in the entire restaurant. As soon as the tables started to fill up, we were unable to get our server's attention. We had to ask for more water, and for our plates to be cleared, and a few other things, and these are just basics of good service that should be expected. The food was good and wonderfully hot when delivered, but the burger was over cooked, possibly due to sitting in a warmer prior to serving. The Chicken Sandwiches looked like they were made with cutlets rather than a breast filet. They were flat, dry, and tasteless. The atmosphere was very nice, as usual, but the service and food left us not eager to return.
Perfect experience as always! My girls love going to eat at my work!
Loved this place. A little expensive but well worth it. Staff was so excited to be back open, and it showed! Crabcakes were delicious!
Eating here aaa a wonderful experience that were still talking about! So relaxing, outstanding and unique tastes, and friendly service. Can’t wait to go back!!
Excellent experience from start to finish as always! We frequent Cafe Zinc quite often and always walk away feeling satisfied. Service is professional, friendly and timely. Food is always executed perfectly, and the cocktails are some of the best in town (although sometimes it does help to be very specific in your preferences to ensure you get the quality ingredients you desire - but the bartenders are always happy to accommodate!)
Great for a date night, work meeting, or a fancier dinner with the kids. Their brunch options are always fantastic too! One of my top recommendations to people who are looking for a place to grab a nice meal and quality drink
Prices are high and the portions small. Lovely room
Absolutely a wonderful experience! Food was incredible, service was attentive and the ambiance reminded me of a European Cafe. Desserts and pastries looked inviting but we we full from the meal.
Great food and service, we both had a good dinning experience.
My daughter had a lovely time at Cafe Zinc. Our waitress Terri was very friendly and answered any questions my daughter had.
Amazing food. Second time there and just as good. They did a nice job keeping things clean during covid
Outdoor dining was lovely. The small round tables were awkward.
Nice wine selection.
Cafe Zinc has a nice atmosphere and the food reasonably was good and well-presented.
However, the service was poor despite the restaurant being far from busy:
1) Never greeted by name by hostess despite a reservation under my name.
2) Never told about specials, if any.
3) Never offered a wine list.
4) Had to ask for replacement silverware between courses.
5) My main course was incorrect. No apology and no goodwill gesture.
In short, the standard of service is poor and could be a lot better. I have had better, more attentive service at chain restaurants.
Despite this shortcoming, I would give Cafe Zinc a second chance because there aren't many comparable restaurants in the Midland area.
Food and service were very good.
Awesome everything food was fantastic
We had a lovely anniversary lunch before a wonderful afternoon at the Dow Gardens.
Great dinner, really doing a good job managing during the pandemic.
As always, we had a great experience at Cafe Zinc.
Execellent food and service. The new blackened salmon was outstanding.
The staffs are nice. The restaurant is fantastic! The food is good (I didn't get to try the famous lobster dish with the new menu the have. A bit disappointed 🙁 ). But the chicken I had was good.
The place is crowed. I don't recommend coming in the busy dining time if you are still feeling under the shadow of covid19. Our group came in at 4pm and we was the only one group there. By 5:30pm, this place is packed all in a second.
Nice space and delightful server. We really enjoyed the parmesan fries! Lovely date-night.
Stopped for a meal at the end of our fall leaf viewing vacation. Perfect end to a perfect week.
Enjoyable evening. Escargot and hummus were delicious appetizers. Salmon, Oscar filet, Scallop special and Pasta entries were picture perfect. It was agreed we would all recommend our dinners.
It's getting chillier in the evening and the in-ceiling heating units kept us cozy as we enjoyed an outdoor meal. The food is good, although some items one the menu are executed much better than others. The kitchen is very flexible to meet your dietary preferences and the service is always good. They make you feel welcome and you are not rushed. A regular spot for us.
The breakfast hit all the marks. Tasty, fresh and the right amount.
The escargot appetizer was plentiful and delicious. The main course of scallops with fingerling potatoes and bacon served on a bed of corn puree was to die for. A little pricey, but worth every penny!
Very good food and attentive staff
Breakfast on 9/27. Food was tasty and nicely presented. Seating outside very pleasant and as requested.. Once again service was slow and also forgetful. Ample opportunity for them to raise their game if they feel motivated do so.
We really enjoyed dining at Cafe Zinc. Both the food and service were excellent. We
definitely plan on going back when in the Midland area.
