Now, the unique venue will once again open its doors to serve classic local fare like Turtle Soup, Louisiana Blue Crab Cakes and BBQ Shrimp using the freshest, locally-sourced seafood and produce. While many restaurants tout “fresh and local”, Sbisa means it, as the Napoli family owns their own seafood dock and distribution business in Hopedale, Louisiana.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Greeting was nice and welcoming. Our server was polite and attentive. She made suggestions that were helpful in deciding what to get. The food was absolutely delicious. The music was smooth and perfect for dining. This place was recommended by a friend that lives in the area. Definitely was not disappointed.
Old school pride and quality
Service was outstanding...from Mia at the bar to our waiter Thomas. Nice ambiance and the food was sooooo delicious. Overall a wonderful dining experience in the French Quarter.
We were celebrating our anniversary. It was fantastic. The music was great and the food and service were phenomenal! Our waitress paid attention to every detail possible. This was our second time there and it will definitely not be our last. It was a gress as t way to start our vacation!!!!
It was great!
The patio was amazing. Service and food couldn’t have been better
Don't miss the shrimp and fried green tomato appetizer it was outstanding
Staff was lovely and accommodating. Never waited long despite it being primo-brunch time on a Sunday. Tasty food, friendly service. Also a beautiful little quintessential New Orleans spot, ambiance all the way. Even had a jazz band that morning. Fair prices. I would recommend to anyone wanting a French Quarter brunch experience. I couldn't find it anywhere on their menu but they offered $15 bottomless mimosas for brunch which was perfect!
We (5 of us) ended our bachelorette weekend here with a nice Sunday Jazz Brunch and it was absolutely perfect!
We had wonderful service and some delicious food. The cheddar biscuits that came out were hot and yummy, we got the $15 bottomless mimosas and they were really attentive and made sure my glass was never empty! We all tried to get different foods - I got the bayou crab cakes and eggs, the other orders were the bananas foster French toast, the crawfish etouffee omelette, and the catfish almondine. There was not one complaint! All in all great way to end our time in NOLA and we will definitely be back again!
Everyone was pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent!
Overall experience was wonderful. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was impeccable. Specifically, our waiter Thomas G was attentive and meticulous. My wife’s quote at the end of the evening was “I felt cared for!” Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
An amazing night at a charming, delicious, classic French Quarter restaurant. Our service was impeccable and food delicious. Will come back every time we’re in NOLA!
The atmosphere was terrific. Everything about this place was positive
I loved the atmosphere! The oyster app was delicious!!! So was the veal and the barbeque shrimp! The staff was impeccable!!! The restaurant was very busy because the parade passed a block away but the manager took time from the busy restaurant to check on us at the table. We had a reservation and I appreciate that they addressed us by name, it felt very personal. The wait staff was so polite and attentive. Definitely will be returning for the brunch.
Birthday. The food was great! Can’t wait to go back!
Krewe of Boo
Great restaurant. The food is delicious. We had the Trout Eugene and the CourtBoullion - absolutely scrumptious. I highly recommend Cafe SBisa!
See you there!
The staff was very good at practicing safety protocol and attentive to our needs. Nice menu variety in both choice and price. Highly recommend.
Great brunch spot! Best shrimp remoulade (with fried green tomatoes) I have ever eaten. I’d say it was one of the top 5 dishes I’ve ever eaten. The Jazz trio that performed was energetic and talented. Easy to find and it’s location is walkable but wouldn’t recommend walking at night due to NOLA quarter crime elements
Love the atmosphere,,, the food was great and the service was perfect! Plus they had live music!
Don’t deny yourself this experience. It was awesome on all counts from service to food. We went on Sunday 11:30 for brunch. The jazz band was a wonderful treat for the ears. I have oils not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone
Great food and music, will visit again. I had a wonderful dinner experience.
The service was excellent! Our waiter was very attentive.
Cafe Sbisa does not disappoint. From beginning to end, the food, service, and ambiance were all fabulous. My husband and I will definitely be back.
Thomas was an awesome person
Always amazing. Food was delicious, service impeccable, and location is perfect
The place, service and food was great. Will definitely go back when I return to NOLA.
The food was excellent, and the Mimosas stayed full. We ordered the Oysters Sbisia & Crawfish Étouffée Omelette.
We picked this place due to its high ranking as we were looking for someplace new. Overall we were impressed with cafe sbisa, both with regard to the service (Thomas was excellent) and the ambiance. The food also was outstanding. However there was one dish that was very offputting. The jambalaya pasta, which sounds unique and interesting, was literally a plate of penne with barely any sauce. It tasted vaguely like jambalaya, but had very little character. Maybe we got a bad batch, but it fell far short of anything else we had at cafe sbisa. Ad it’s what held back my fifth star for this rating.
Our first meal in New Orleans and we were not disappointed. The traditional New Orleans cuisine was fabulous - we ordered specials and off the menu as well. What really put it over the top was the service. The waitstaff was phenomenal! Super attentive and always at the ready for whatever we needed. Highly recommend!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The jazz band was amazing and the food was delicious! Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The service was great! From the moment we walked in was seated, to the end when we finished our food. The bottomless mimosas are highly recommended and we loved everything but defiantly try the crab cakes!
We were celebrating our anniversary. Everything was wonderful from the service to the food!!
This was a lovely meal with great service is a comfy place. Live music for Sunday brunch was great without being too loud for visiting and enjoying conversation. The food was great—I enjoyed a chefs feature. The comfy atmosphere here feels very exclusive. I hope we can get reservations again soon!
The jazz brunch was a great atmosphere. The bottomless mimosas were plentiful and the food was really good. The building and decor was showstopping and just fun to admire. The value was excellent for being in the Quarter.
Historic restaurant but if you’re like me, 24 and visiting the city with your significant other, don’t come here. It’s not the right vibe. The food was decent but the ambiance was totally off for people our age.
My husband and I tried Cafe Sbisa for date night. I had been wanting to try them and they did not disappoint in any area. The service, food, ambiance, and background music were all top tier. Standout dishes were the oyster and crawfish beignet appetizers, the court boullion entree, and the creme brûlée for dessert. The court bouillon describes south LA in one dish and was a true experience. My drink- French 75- was also very well made. In all, we tried the fried pickles, crabcakes, oysters, and crawfish beignet apps; Caesar salad; court bouillon and double cut pork chop entrees; bread pudding and creme brûlée. This restaurant really offers a great fine dining experience from beginning to end. The staff is 100% on it and present, without hovering. They are also very warm and friendly. We cannot wait to return.
Fantastic food from appetizer to dessert. Friendly service. Highlights were the oyster Sbisa and the Worcestershire chicken. Highly recommend.
As always the staff at Cafe Sbisa delivers a top notch experience. Why we keep coming back and our friends who joined us were so impressed they will be back as well.
My favorite restaurant in the French Quarter . Best food . Best service . Best waiters .
