Great food. Good service. Comfortable ambiance.
I had to ask the greeter for a better table twice - he initially tried to seat me in bar (during happy hour) when dining room had only 3 tables in use - then he wanted to seat us in a lesser area.
Food is great as always $14 Caprese Salad is pricy compared to other salads
Wonderful dinner, as always.
Always great!! Our Go To restaurant. We did have a long wait which is unusual. I guess it is the season.
Delicious! Always a favorite. Server was great, food was was outstanding
Great service, amazing veal! What a great romantic spot. Pity that it is not in Minneapolis!
AMAZING! Food and staff were exceptional. Great amotsphere
This was the best meal i’ve had a restaurant in a long time. It was our 10th wedding anniversary and it was worth every dollar we spent for a memorable evening. Dan was our waiter and he was a true professional!
Best Service Ever!! Best bartender too!! Food was phenomenal! A new favorite for my friends and I! We honestly had the best waiter in town!!!
One of the best Italian restaurants in St. Louis. Our family favorite!
Great service, easy parking, wonderful food. Ciapino is outstanding. Good wine selection
It is a great place for a business lunch and it also has a nice bar and patio for evening/social dining.
Simply excellent in every way. Classy Italian fare.
It was so dark in the corner it was funny. Flatware was cafeteria quality for such a fancy menu.
This restaurant is the perfect example of the difference between frozen and fresh calamari. There is a huge difference. One is fine; the other is fine dining. Every dish at our table was prepared with care, with fresh ingredients that were just right. A memorable evening with family and great food.
We visited during a busy Parent's Weekend. The drinks and appetizers were all excellent with the shrimp cocktail getting presentation points for how it is delivered to the table. Entree portions are generous and the fingerling potatoes were fantastic. Dessert was very creative as the chocolate covered chocolate/amaretto ice cream was served with some fruit on the side. Very nicely done!
Outstanding food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return.
One of our favorites and again surpassed our expectations! The arancini was fantastic. The sea bass unbelievable. Service was spectacular, a thoroughly pleasant evening out. Looking forward to going back again soon.
Very good, however what a surprise the waitress did not know what broccoli rabe was. Worse was that the restaurant did not have any broccoli Rob on the menu and didn’t even serve it. Also the buratta was a joke, cost 20 bucks and served about 1.5 ounces of it, no joke. It looked like sour cream.
Excellent food and service both times we ate at Cafe Napoli this week. The ciopinno is exceptional, as is the stack salad. The service was extremely attentive but not rushed.
This is a really good Italian restaurant with excellent food and service. I had the chicken piccata, which was really delicious. We will definitely return.
FOOD was SOOO delicious, phenomonal service, overall great dining expierience! Perfect if you're looking for a fancy meal, or special occasion!
Our waiter Paul was incredibly attentive, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We travel often and we haven't seen service this good in a long time!
Terrific wait staff! Dining experience was outstanding!
Always a treat to go to Napoli Clayton. Sea bass was awesome. Great table fir people watching. Priced very reasonably.
Best veal parm in town! Always a great choice, especially for out of town guests...
A great dining pleasure.
The staff at Napoli are so welcoming, kind, and courteous! They really make sure you have the best dining experience you could ask for.
We were in from out of town and found this gem
I had one of the specials which was a veal chop served saltimbocca. It was fantastic. My wife ordered the chicken licata. It was a little different than what she expected but still very good. The menu is very reasonably priced. Steve was our waiter and did a great job, informed us that the veal chop is thick so it may take a few more minutes to cook. We had a bottle of the Forester Pinot Noir 2015. It paired well with the veal and didn't cost a fortune, though there are plenty of more expensive bottles to be had if one so desires. We needed to leave in a timely fashion to make it to the symphony. Steve recognized this and got us out with time to spare. Our table was immediately next to the bar so it was a bit loud at times but never became too overbearing. We saw a Blues player on the way out so apparently the cool kids eat here too. I would reccomend.
Great food & service. Wonderful atmosphere. Great place for a dinner meeting or special occasion.
Great outdoor seating and ambience. Service was fabulous but food was just so so. Bolonaise had very little sauce. Just a big lump of pasta. The truffle ravioli was lost in the tomato sauce and was not as special as it sounded. Drinks were good and wine list was robust and reasonable. Think it was just an off night but a bit disappointing for such a wonderful location.
We have been going dine they opened. Love the owner and of course the food!
Great service- Patrick- and amazing food. We will be back!
Excellent service from Jerry and fabulous food. Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic dinner. Adam was outstanding and really took care of us.
We arrived for 7:15 reservation on time ... ordered our meal, but didn’t get entrees until 8:45. We were served our salads fairly quick - but then waited and watched other tables seated later than us get served.
When something odd was in my pasta side dish, and the waiter took it away to replace it ... after eating 3/4 of my dinner dish I had to remind the waiter that he never returned with the pasta side dish ... and then it took a while longer to finally get it.
I was disappointed with food and service. Too bad, was once one of my favorites.
Service at the bar was great even though food took a little long.
There are dishes we get over & over here that always make us want to return...the Veal Marsala being one & I just love the liver....it's so tender you can cut it with a fork & the somewhat sour sauce is unbelievably good....I could eat a bowl of it! In nice weather we love sitting on the patio where there's music ( at least weekends) although an inside table provides intimacy if that's what you're after.
This is a hotspot. A place to be seen at. Food was good enough, but not memorible.
