Nice setting, food tasty service good. Street parking very good.
Absolutely fantastic!!! The food was spectacular, authentic Italian food. Service was great, ambiance of the patio was relaxing and I would totally recommend it
Friendly staff, great food & an actual Italian host!
We had a lovely meal and had wonderful service! I would definitely go again. The food was delicious.
It's hit or miss. First time I went there, service was impeccable and the food was amazing. This time, it took 45 minutes for appetizers to come out for our party of 2 while a group of 13 that sat much later than us was all getting their food before our appetizers even came out. It took over 2 hours for to finish 1 appetizer and our main course. The host didn't even tell the server we were celebrating a special event, so the server felt bad at the end when he asked what brought us in and we told them. Basically, we felt we were sort of ignored. The food was ok. It wasn't as good a some of the comparably priced restaurants we frequent, but ok. The meal took as long as a 6-course meal we had somewhere else. We had to keep trying to flag down our server to ask for the next thing, when it should have been automatic. Disappointed.
This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Food is consistently delicious and the restaurant has made recent decor changes that make this restaurant quaint and charming.
Only thing is to be aware the kitchen is small in size so even though the service is good, it takes time for dishes to come out of the kitchen. We love Victor who seems to know most of the local diners in the area and always takes great care of us.
The seafood was not fresh. The pasta had very little flavor. The server was great and the place is cozy but the food just left much to be desired.
Love the location, cocktails, and of course the food. The service is very inconsistent and this time I think there was only one waiter for 15 tables. It took over two hours for a quick dinner and drinks.
Love Cafe Amici...food is great, team if fun and attentive. This is a regular for us.
Amazing. Was in LA from NYC for work. Had dinner with local friends who swear by this place. Best food of the trip - great waiter as well. Will be back
I've been coming here for 30 years and will continue for the next 30! Great food and atmosphere.
Always a good consistent restaurant
Mediocre at best My linguine and clams were swimming in olive oil.
Returned after many years absent and left very disappointed. The salad was fine but the main courses (pasta and lemon caper chicken) were a disappointment, particularly the pasta. Pasta sauce was far too sweet and too abundant.
We came here for the DineLA! It was amazing! Great food and service! Will come back for sure
It was a charming little restaurant with great food.
Cafe Amici is becoming our "go to" local Italian favorite! The service is warm and friendly. For a relatively small restaurant, it has a menu that goes deep into pasta and seafood dishes. There are also some good vegetarian choices. For a relaxing evening, we would recommend Amici any day of the week!
Love this Restaurant! Use to be regular customer when we lived down the block. We have rediscovered this great gem & even though it’s a further drive for us we will come back regularly!
It was 12/31 and we made reservations. No one told us it was an $89.00 pre fixed meal. We stayed but I would not have expected that and planned to order off the menu. A nice thing would have been to notify us of the menu and cost...I am disappointed and upset. Bill for two of us was $260.00 and normally is about $80.00.
Awesome and authentic
I love this restaurant and go about every 2 weeks
The food and the ambiance were excellent and Zach our waiter was extremely charming and amusing without being at all intrusive. A fine evening!
Thank you so much for your lovely review, from Zach and the entire Cafe Amici team! We are so glad you had a great experience and we can't wait to see you back!
It was our first time at Cafe Amici Bev Hills. Since it was the Christmas Eve dinner, the 3 course dinner menu was mostly set.
We were greeted by this very charming server ( wished we got his name). He was just so perfect! We really enjoyed the interaction and conversation with him. The food was just amazing!!! I had Mushroom soup ( Salad option) as the first course. It was SO good! Also the hummus and fresh tomato bruschetta were delicious! My husband couldn’t stop eating those. :) the second course was Lobster Raviolis in creamy saffron sauce. Just perfect! As my main meal, I had a fish plate with delicious roasted vegetables that were to die for. My husband had chicken dish which he loved! He says it was one of the best dining out experience. Cafe Amici made our Christmas Eve very special to set the positive tone for the rest of our holidays. We look forward to returning there for more enjoyable delicious experience in the new year!!! Thank you so much! Ambience was wonderful so was the music. What an amazing night it was!
Christmas Eve is always a happy event for us and we are so happy that you were able to join us this year! We wish you a happy and prosperous new year and we can't wait to see you back!
Cafe Amici has been a family favorite for years. We've gone there for birthdays, anniversaries, and to celebrate other special occasions. I made our reservation at least 3 weeks in advance because we were to be a large group and it's holiday time. At no point in the process of making the reservation was I aware that there would only be available a set menu of $79/person because it was Xmas Eve. In our party of 12, there were 3 children. There was no children's menu and the restaurant was not accommodating. It wasn't New Years Eve which is normally an adult occasion. During Xmas, people are usually with their families. A reservation for such a large group is a good clue. Either Open Table or the restaurant should have made their policy known to me. I was astonished to receive of bill of more than $1,200 for dinner.
We arrived at the time of our reservation, and we were given the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable and checked on us an appropriate amount. Our food and wine was delicious and the ambiance was romantic and quiet.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We can't wait for your return!
Neighborhood gem. Cozy. Outdoor seating.
Good service and ambiance, and the staff is very polite. Only problem is that the food is just fine. Not amazing. As for everything in LA, overpriced
Service was poor. Food mediocre and no ambiance. They are understaffed with waiters and the place was packed.
What a delightful restaurant! The food and service were impeccable. Highly recommend for both families and dat night.
Great food and service for a bunch of really
picky eaters :-).
The service was truly amazing. Our waiter was a professional gentlemen who made our special evening come alive with candor and courtesy.
This is my neighborhood restaurant, and I love it. The service is impeccable. There were 6 of us, 3 of whom were young children. They loved the food. (Marghareta Pizza, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Salmon and Caprese Salad ) I ate off of everyone’s plate. I did order The Pannacotta for dessert. It’s always delicious.
