The food and ambiance were all amazing! Definitely recommending to my friends.
Great food as usual. Under new ownership
Back patio seemed to get short shrift in terms of attention
Having not been to Cafe Amici since prior to the pandemic, I was very much looking forward to this experience. Unfortunately, everything was subpar and led to a very disappointing experience. The menu had changed (e.g., some favorites no longer were available), the portions were smaller and the price was higher. Not sure what happened to one of my favorite restaurants in LA, but it certainly is different . . . and not in a good way.
wonderful service and food. The bean dip is world class.
Beautiful patio and wonderful warm service. Had a lovely leisurely dinner date with my husband. Food was excellent, spag and meatball sauce was thick and rich and full of flavor.
Excellent service! Lovely venue! Tasty cuisine 😄
We have been regulars here for years. They let go of all that was good about this lovely place. It used to be a Neighborhood Italian restaurant where food and service were super friendly and rock solid. We sat at 7, ordered about 7;45 and didn’t get our mains until 9:15 or 9:30. More than two hours after sitting down. With the exception of the chicken Limone and the risotto funghi, the food was sub par. What happened to the old servers who knew my children’s names and always went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. What a sad day that they have not kept the warmth of what was special about this place. They should take a tip from Madeo’s where the food is amazing, the servers have been there for years and the clientele keeps going back. Same with Dan tana’s and Craig’s. This is a pale comparison. I fear that after this post COVID rush, they will be left with few regulars and fewer good reviews.
Before Covid we had been there many times and always enjoyed the service and food. However last night the service was very poor and the food well below what we had there before.
Lovely outdoor atmosphere and good food. A bit, pricey!
Very disappointing on this occasion, visited several times before the last shut down and this time the food was not nearly as good and the service consisted of staff that were inexperienced, even though understandable due to the circumstances with employment now being difficult for employers. Tried the ricotta cheesecake for dessert, which was outstanding
Always a neighborhood fave. Nice people, kind and super specials!
The waitress was very sweet and helpful, but the food and drinks were not good at all. The bartender was shaking up cocktails that tasted absolutely disgusting and the pastas were terrible. Also, the entire dining experience took under and hour... and we ordered starters... very odd experience
Poorly trained brand new staff . Food came out one person at a time. Fourth person’s food was 15 minutes late with no apologies or compensation. Manager could care less. One person had a birthday and unless we ordered something they weren’t going to acknowledge it. NEVER AGAIN!!
Food has changed a bit from last time I went, deconstructed pear salad was underwhelming. Kitchen got very busy so we waited for our entree’s for a long time. They did give us one free dessert. Maybe just getting used to being back up to full capacity.
Glad it’s back open!
Good food. Ambience is perfect for a romantic and quiet evening.
The food is still quite good, but we all missed the old menu.
One of the best Italian restaurants in town. Quiet and peaceful. An oasis. Lovely atmosphere. Great staff. Delicious food.
Usually a a very fine restaurant but last night the service was terrible. Staff did not seem to know what they were doing and the food was not up to Amichi standards
Wonderful warm ambiance with delicious tasting food. Intimate and great neighborhood restaurant.
Delicious, friendly and lovely outdoor dining on the patio
Phenomenal dining experience. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! One of the best meals we've had in a while.
Great, first night back open so service a bit off but food was amazing
The other guests were obnoxiously loud, which was irritating in a small, intimate space, but they were having fun so we tried to ignore it. Unfortunately our waiter forgot about us for long stretches so things too too long to arrive, plates went uncleared, and the dinner, which was all but inedible, became an increasingly depressing experience. The burrata was dry not creamy, the tomatoes mealy and flavorless. Lamb chops were overdone and smothered in a. overpowering wine reduction sauce instead of the Dijon described on the menu. We skipped dessert altogether. Sadly, this was a real letdown.
I've been going here for a few years. The food has gone down during the pandemic. The meatballs are tough and dry. They over cook the chicken. The pasta they still get right.
Meticulous restaurant with exquisite service. Varied menu with options ..
I love everything about Cafe Amici!
We had a delightful dinner and very importantly felt safe. The rear patio is quiet, so it's easy to chat. The ambiance is comfortable and peaceful. We all enjoyed our dinners and found them to be ample and tasteful. We always like the bread and accompanying relishes. The only thing we miss are the delicious cookies which you used to serve at the end of the meal.
My favorite place for fiends dinner,Birthday celebration
nothing better!!!!We love the staff and the food. They treat us like family and we appreciate and go back over and over.
Delicious food, impeccable service. Truly outstanding. Quaint and sexy ambience. Will definitely be returning
3rd visit -
Small menu however excellent options . Filet was amazing- Salmon to perfection.
Nice wine list and desserts are a compliment
Third time in the last six weeks, great food each time, service was not so good this time. Italian waiter confused about specials and lack of attentiveness, very disappointing
The girl kissed me! Very cozy seating
Loved this little place from environment to service to food! So good 🌹
Bland overpriced food, and boring ambiance. The service was good, that's why I gave them 1 star. The waiters were very polite. But the food was disgusting. Can't believe they even charged for valet. There was only 2 other people dining at the restaurant and only one other car there.
The atmosphere was so wonderful that we are taking friends with us tonight.
