Great overall. We were seated immediately & our server & helper were also great. We all ordered fajitas with various meats. Very good. Rice & beans were cold so we didn’t eat them. The guacamole & chips were great & the pineapple salsa is a must try! It’s not our first time to Buho. We look forward to going at least once every trip we take to Oahu.

Buho was such a great experience! Everything we ate was so yummy and service was amazing. Everyone who works there is so sweet and they took great care of us. Will absolutely be coming back when I next visit Oahu!

They accommodated our request of combining the separate reservations (2 tables of 5 to a table for 10) and gave us a good corner location. I think our waitress’s name was Jacqueline and she did a fantastic job!

We came here in September and couldn’t remember how the food was but recalled liking the ambiance so we decided to try this place again. I was very disappointed the food was not good at all. We went on taco Tuesday the tortillas were not warm at all the tasted like they had barely been heated up. We also got rice and beans and they were both terrible not seasoned at all. I didn’t even eat the beans they tasted so bad I thought they were spoiled but my husband said they just tasted unseasoned I opted to leave them and not risk it. It was a true disappointment the location is nice it’s on a rooftop they have music and it’s lively but the food is terrible.

Portions were very small. The whole place is outdoors. No inside eating. Late afternoon sun was awful. You’re probably fine during the afternoon but late afternoon. It gets very hot and sunny.

We made the reservation and there was no mention of cover charge, when we got there, they charged $20 per person even though we had dinner reservations at 8. Then when seated, they said we’d have to leave our table by 10 we were told we could stay just not at our table. Overall really poor communication. Great vibe and good food but I’d go with the above in mind.

When this place first opened it was great. Now the food is poor and overpriced. The servers try hard to make it a nice experience but if you go there just know it’s all about the drinks. Avoid if you’re hungry.

My daughter and I had a lovely time listening to live music and enjoying fresh Mexican food. Our waitress was darling. Loved the table made guacamole and my fish tacos. My daughter was drooling over the birria tacos. Lovely dinner after seeing the Auana show.
