Took longer than expected to be spoken to, getting food however the staff was so friendly and kind. The food was super tasty. Started off with the BBQ meatball and it was full of flavor. I had the salmon dinner with green beans and Brussels spouts. 10/10! I specifically asked the waiter to make the salmon crispyyy and he did not disappoint. The salmon came out just as I desired. The veggies were also cooked perfectly, not soggy and not rock hard! For dessert, a delicious caramel brûlée banana bread pudding. (1000/1000), I’m still thinking about this the next day. The amount of people in the restaurant speaks to the quality of food here, I will definitely be returning !

My wife’s chicken sandwich wasn’t seasoned and my pastrami grilled cheese was barely warm. Service wasn’t bad but was very slow. Hopefully this was just a one-off and not a new norm. We will be back and hopefully BRQ will be back to its usual standards.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Father’s Day Visit - Disappointed Compared to Our First Experience We visited your restaurant this past Sunday for Father’s Day, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience — especially compared to our first visit a couple of years ago, which was outstanding and left a lasting impression. This time, the quality of the food and service had noticeably declined. I ordered the brisket platter with ribs. While the brisket was flavorful and tender, the ribs were dried out. Our server brought a second set when I mentioned it, but those were also dry, so I didn’t say anything further. My husband had the salmon dinner with macaroni and cheese and broccoli. The salmon was undercooked, the mac and cheese was watery, and the broccoli was so underdone it was difficult to eat. My daughter ordered the prime rib sandwich, which came without onions and was very dry. The kids’ chicken nuggets and fries were done well, and as I mentioned, the brisket was the highlight of the meal. However, I also asked whether the potato salad was sweet or savory — the server said savory, but it arrived sweet, which was disappointing. From the beginning, our server seemed to have an attitude, though she did try to improve her tone as the meal went on. We drove over an hour to get there, hoping for the same level of quality we experienced in the past, but sadly, this visit didn’t live up to expectations. I’m writing this not to be harsh but in hopes that it helps you identify areas that need attention. We truly wanted this to be a special Father’s Day outing and were left feeling let down. We know what your restaurant is capable of from our first visit, and we hope to see that standard return.
