Overall... meh. The service was ok but not worth the menu prices. On a very slow night we were both given the wrong side. The solution was to leave it with us and bring the correct food to add to it. Ok. Also, we both ordered the same thing. However, my wife ordered a medium well steak. I ordered a medium rare steak. In my opinion, they were both just medium. Either way, they were identical. Overall, not terrible and nobody is perfect. But, when I’m spending $125, I expect more effort and closer to perfect.
Everything was amazing! Our food was so good! The atmosphere was so cool!
They seem to like to judge people for what they wear. Took forever to get drinks and food, and the scallops were undercooked. I’d find better service at red lobster for a way better price. This place was filled with nothing but loud obnoxious people. This is more of a farm than a restaurant. Ruined my appetite on top of the undercooked food. Gross.
Food was amazing! Service not so much but then again our server was be utilized for serving as well as over at bar mixing drinks!
Great food and restaurant maintained social distancing for diners.
The food and service is always wonderful. We love the Bristol.
We chose our dinners from the Prix Fixe section and were very satisfied with our meals. The lobster bisque for the appetizer, was delightful. The main course was very tasty and filling. The dessert came home with us since we were very full. The Sunday wine deal is great also.
This was our 1st visit, but we will be returning very soon.
Booked a table of 8 for my birthday at 8:30 pm and didn’t get seated until almost an hour later. Fast forward we ended up getting seated around 9:15 ish...
Next thing you know the restaurant was nearly closing and we didn’t get served not until another hour later. And I’m not going to details on how they ran out of mashed potatoes and what not...
Lost my appetite and ended up taking the rest of my dinner to go. (3/5 for the food)
I’m not really a hard customer to deal with but It was disappointing for my 1st experience at Bristol.
I’ll give it another try someday and hopefully it will be a better one.
Jason was our server and was awesome! Our first time at Bristol and food was amazing!
It’s been a couple years since I visited and I feel the food quality has gone downhill. It tasted/felt like it was pre-packaged instead of cooked fresh. Not sure that I’d consider coming back
Food was good considering im from the south and typically like my lobster seasoned better but nevertheless everything was good. I’ll definitely be back.
Overall amazing ambiance. Only down side was there was way to many TVs.
I will be back for sure it was nice and reasonable and the food was excellent
Food was really good, the place was nicely spaced out for social distancing and our waiter Antoine (I believe) was outstanding.
I made a reservation for brunch and was never told they were not serving brunch. I came out in a snow storm, paid $8 to park and sit down only to find out there is no brunch. When asking the waiter about it, he was very rude to me. I was uber frustrated and left. Especially during COVID I would think restaurants would be more thoughtful.
We had specifically made a Sunday brunch reservation for Valentines. Nowhere on their website did it state any changes in their menu for Valentines. However, once we arrived/ seated we were told that 1) no brunch, lunch only. 2) no 1/2 price bottles of wine (a normal Sunday offering we were going to do for mimosas)
Disappointed but had great service & food.
I had high expectations for my meal at Bristols and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food, the freshness, and temperature of our meals. Price did NOT justify or equate with the quality of the food which was very poor! Needless to say, given all the options in Kansas City, I will not be returning.
Lovely atmosphere and food, but a little pricey. Employees are very conscious of the pandemic.
Our server wasn't very attentive. Waited 10 minutes after we were done eating to ask about our dessert that came with the meal. The biscuit guys/bust boys were faster than she was. But the food was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was just right
Caesar salad needs work. Low quality romaine, dressing taste not authentic enough. Feature Asian dish with scallops had a sauce that was way too salty.
Me and my wife enjoyed your food. Always good to be here . I appreciate the food and service more and more. Thanks for having us
Food was really good. The atmosphere is nice and our waitress was very good. We always enjoy our time at Bristol
Our server was not engaged with our table. He took 7-10 mins to address our table even though he had walked past a couple times. He then proceeded to take awhile to take our order, box our food and also run our credit card in spite of us having our masks on indicating we were ready to go. While running our card we could hear him talking about what he wanted to buy to another server. It was very odd for a higher end restaurant. We have never experienced such service at Bristol and have been there 10+ times in the past. Our food was wonderful! We would hesitate to go back except for carry out given the poor service. We also had similar poor service from the hostess who was on her cell phone when we walked in and was clearly finishing a text message before she sat us and then didn’t check us into open table. Then while she was seated was walking through the dining area looking at her phone.
Everything was great the service the food the environment
Excellent value on the valentines dinner, unfortunatly the only thing that kept it from being perfect, tgey forgot the calamarie appetizer i ordered
The flavor of the food was not worth the price. Clean looking facility with decent drinks. Steak wasn’t cooked to request twice but Brittney was an amazing server who comp’d us a free dessert that also could’ve been better.
She will be our only good memory of the over-priced experience.
Very outstanding service and very good food. Crab melt sandwich is excellent.
The absolute best food and service I have had outside of our hometown spots where everyone knows us. Best swordfish I’ve e ever had. The drinks were awesome. The waiter was beyond perfect. Suggested us the best ideas for food and was very attentive. Definitely going to be one of our go to spots when we visit
Consistently good food
Had the trout. Portions look smaller than before.
Antoine was our server and was above and beyond accommodating. The entire staff was impeccable the food was delicious.
This is second time I and my wife have eaten here and both times were above average experiences. The food was prepared and presented very well and extras and special requests were accommodated with friendly attitudes. Very pleasant staff that work together to serve us. Pleased!
We were from out of town and we absolutely loved it!! Our sweet family of 5 absolutely loved it!! We will be recommending this place for other Military families!! The food was excellent!! The wine that was recommended was beautiful!! And the service was so professional and understanding!!! I WILL COME BACK AGAIN!!
Good food, prices were high but food good.
Waaaaaay over priced for what you get. My food was okay at best. Definitely not worth 30 dollars a plate.
Service by Alex was an embarrassment and then he decided to get personal and bring my son into a conversation with my friend as they went to high school together. Will never come back to The Bristol due to Alex; Zara and Chris were outstanding hosts and managers for him to look down at me and take our drinks away without asking and then to insult us by saying there wasn't much in there. Not his place to decide when we are done with our food and drinks; his service was so poor we had 1 1/2 drinks each in about a two hour window at the bar.
Thank you Zara for listening to us; didn't mean to put you in a tough spot but want to say thanks for stepping up and doing the right thing. Those "customers" at the bar who felt it was their right and white privilege to engage in our conversation, should have turned away and minded their own pathetic business and evening. That "lady" who said I was lucky her mom wasn't there; that made me laugh so hard like I should fear her mommy. Her husband is a weak one for sure as he wasn't man enough to stand up to an old man and get up off his chair as he knew that wasn't a move that he would be able to back up his words with any actions.
Great food for sure; had great company but the evening wasn't ruined but sullied by Alex and him being an immature young man that wanted to get personal with me and I don't have any clue now or in high school who he is. Thanks Zara; keep being a leader and someone that will do the right thing.

This was Restaurant Week. Our section was not crowded but close to the bar, which made it louder (not a problem). Our server was nowhere to be found most of the time. We were there for about 1.5-2 hours mostly because of waiting on the server.
The food was great, except my steak and wife’s steak came out raw and was supposed to be medium.
The shrimp wall gone and was really looking forward to having shrimp.
The waiter seemed flustered, but overall did a good job.
Service was fantastic. Although for an 8:30 pm reservation. We still were not seated until 8:55 pm.
Great atmosphere. Waiter wasn’t too friendly but he had a lot of tables to tend to. overall great experience.
