At first we were little hesitant to go because of the Covid pandemia but immediately they made us feel comfortable. There was appropriate social distancing and all the staff were wearing masks. We have a wonderful meal consisting of crab bisque, halibut and my wife had a steak. All of them superior. For dessert the floating island is like a dream for your taste buds. Strongly recommend.
My husband and I chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner, primarily due to the seafood focused menu that included several types of fresh fish prepared in a variety of ways other than fried, which is rare in south Louisiana, in addition to having a nice balance of fresh salads and veggies. Having said that, there are several options for meat-lovers as well, including lamb and steak options. The extensive wine and spirits menu was also excellent. Our waiter was superb and the manager also stopped by to greet us. This elegant spot is certainly worth checking out, and we look forward to returning soon.
Happy Hour had good selections of food and beverage. Dinner was excellent- the fish with fried green tomatoes was delicious and salad with chevre and eggplant caviar was wonderful as well.

Very pleased with the entire experience. Our server was excellent and very attentive. The food was phenomenal. To start, we had the Oysters Bienville Casserole which was awesome. We also shared the salmon salad. For our entrees, my husband had the snapper and I had the lamb. Both were very good. I will definitely return!
Underwhelmed. There were less than half the COVID open tables occupied but service still struggled. We sat near the kitchen window and saw several bowls of soup waiting to be served to a large table behind us for well over 10 minutes.
Scallops on Goat Cheese Grits Cake was the highlight of the meal. Oysters Rockefeller was served in an overabundance of gloppy creamed spinach. Main course of tenderloin medallions and scallops were overcooked and swimming in butter making almost inedible.
When we decided against dessert, since there were no gluten free options, the waiter did not even ask if we wanted an after dinner drink or coffee and just brought the check.
Definitely not worth the $200 bill for the two of us.

First time there proved to be a wonderful surprise. Everyone in my party of 4 loved their food. My redfish on the half shell was perfectly prepared - flavorful and moist. Delicious food will be the reason I return.
The food presentation was beautiful and tasted great. The food arrived quickly. Our server, Rachel was great. She was very friendly and helpful. Even though we all were wearing masks you could see her smile when she spoke to us. Our issue was the the Maître D'. We visited for our anniversary and had reservations. When we arrived he barely spoke or acknowledged us. He asked our name, checked us off and walked to a table. He turned to look at us and motioned to the table. He never asked us to follow him nor did he mention our occasion. His attitude did NOT start our evening off very well. Aside from him, we did enjoy our food.
The food was excellent and the presentation was appetizing. The service was timely and and cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent.
I made a reservation on a Wednesday night for 5 people. Received confirmation emails and text messages. When my party arrived to the restaurant- they were not open for business that day. Not clear why I would be allowed to make a reservation and have to confirm it several times on a day when the restaurant is closed.

Our server was excellent, but we were not impressed with the host who greeted us and didn't seem to know what was going on (perhaps he was a fill-in?). Food was plentiful and tasty. Great coffee drinks (we will too full for dessert!). Atmosphere was welcoming and lively, but not too loud.

Loved everything I tried. Server, Liz, was friendly and attentive. The scallops appetizer is amazing. Blackened Redfish was great as well. Finished with the cremé brûlée.
We had a great time at Briquette! Patrick was an excellent, warm, and welcoming server! They are doing a great job with COVID regulations, we felt safe and were spaced a part comfortably from other guests. Food and wine were fantastic! Highly recommend! Especially the scallops and red fish!

We had a great dinner service later in the evening so wasn't as packed as I expected. This is a great set up for any lunch or dinner for business meeting near the convention center. Their wine list is extensive, so even stopping for a drink would be worth it. There were TVs and bar for sports fans. Dinning area is huge. You can tell they can accommodate huge conventions easily. The food was good. A bit pricey. Service was exceptional.

As always the food, service and ambience was excellent. Hats off to the owners AJ and Anna. I shared the Lump Crabcake Napoleon and the Kurubuta Pork Belly Salad with my girlfriend as my appetizer and had the District Trounedos for my entrée. Both were cooked perfectly. We eat early (6 pm) so we beat the rush. We practically had the place to ourselves especially during this Phase 2 time. It filled up as we ate. Timmy, our server, was friendly, cordial and took care of us. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Just one item of note in that they do not participate in Culinary Month in New Orleans so there just the regular menu, no preset one for a single price. Still wonderful.
